The priestess's eyes widen as she sees The Bard call forth water. Perhaps here was the Champion of the Sea. And he was not in any way affiliated with the Jacks, so he had a chance at fighting against the Champion of Flame.

Wasp! I'm going to send you somewhere else! I think that's safer!

Uses the power of the winds to try to blow the wasp back to the Place of the Winds.

Well no one else seemed to want to the Sea's Champion, and since Candle's fire didn't hurt me earlier, I thought "Why the heck not?"

You have a point... But i could still peirce the arm and destroy his mechanized insides, correct?

Okay, I'm still here.

Magic Steel doesn't rust. Especially if he's stainless.
Just saying.

And if magic water were applied? Just saying

It would seem you did need my help, little one..
*turns to the lich*
It seems we meet again. Will the outcome be the same?

I think not. For I am much stronger than before, especially with the Book.

The dracolich blasts the Bard with a mixture of eldritch energy and flame.

*suddenly the bard begins to chant in a strange voice*

Powers of water ages deep, I call you forth, defend me from this creep I know, but is was the best I could think of right now!
*The light enshrouding him turns into a water, and his eyes glow with a strange blue light*
"Fire can not harm me foolish lich."

We really have to stop meeting like this, people are starting to talk...
*light enshrouds him again, but this time it is all shades of blue*
Well this is new...

*hearing the Wasp's shout The Bard runs to help.*
I'm coming little friend!

Is all well here? The Champion of Fire went on a rampage last night. It attacked the Jacks and did much harm. I wanted to make sure that it hadn't harmed any of you as well.
Not for lack of trying. If not for myself and Db3, I doubt the Wasp would be free right now. DbJr went to ask for help in placing defenses, but it would seem none are willing to help.
We were busy fighting battles of our own last night. The Champion of Fire is somehow powered by the Jacks own energy. Which basically means that we're screwed.

Energy of that power... How was I able to stand his flame?

*The Bard begins to look worried*
If he was the Champion of Flame, does that mean there could be others?

The wasp smiles grimly.

So, Jay told me you're the Champ of the Winds. We ARE screwed, aren't we? Two champions of minimal power, who couldn't hope to win, a Champ of Flame, who can't be hurt by the Jacks (meaning that two of our Champs can't hurt it), and to boot a super-powered Dracolich who CONTROLS the Champ of Flame. And one of the most powerful folk here is trapped in someone's brain and can't help us.
This. Sucks.
The wasp starts to fly off, then stops.
Wait a minute...could it be?
I've gotta get the book.

Would you like some help? While not able to defeat the dracolich I could distract him long enough for you to get the book. Like the oceans, my song can be gentle, or full of fury...

"I thank you for your assistance old friend. It will be appreciated by all here for a long time."

*As the light enshrouding him dissipates, he bows gracefully*

"You are most welcome, 'Blue'. It would seem our foe has lost his sight after death, for it should be quite obvious I'm an elf."

So your not wise?
*Throwing his hand up, the flames slide around him to dissipate harmlessly behind him*

"You'll have to better do than that, you foul imitation of life! I've lived ages more than you, and shall live much longer!
*light flies out to slam into the dracolich's chest*
"If you leave now you may be able to save your hoard from the sellswords I showed it to."
*He smiles gleefully as even more musical light enshrouds him.*

Well that seemed to easy. Probably didn't work...

Indeed, it did not.

The dracolich speaks words of unutterable power, and the Bard bursts into flame.
Not dead, just in significant danger. Candle Lighter is very powerful now.

Flinging his arms out, the flames disperse

"Do not think that, just because I'm a bard, I can't put up a fight!"
As he starts to sing, light swirls around him, infusing his very soul with unimaginable power.
"I am a Seeker of The Song, and you would be wise to flee this area NOW!"

*blows out candle*

And I shall help all our allies with my Bardic Music!!

You know what just look here. It's much easier to do that than have it in two places. Just comment here if you want a little more detail.

I apoligize. It is taking longer than I thought to get it all written down before I post it.

This is my attempt to turn a campaign I'm playing in RL into a posted story. Please don't post till I've posted Chapter 1 (later today).
*sighs loudly* You may 'bump' to find it later, but please just and ooc bump.

This is mt attempt at turning a D&D game I'm currently in.
For a brief summary, look here.

Please do not post until I've finished Chapter 1, which I'll post later today.
