Hi Team,
the shipping for the upcoming Order (Payment method authorized: June 7
Should ship by: June 15) shows huge shipping costs (69 USD).
Are these the correct costs?
If shipping the order is that expensive, are you able to transfer some items to a later shipment date to save costs?
Thanks
Kristian
Hi,
please cancel my Pathfinder RPG and Pathfinder Tales subcription.
Thanks
Kristian
Hi Customer Service Team,
can you add the Holiday Discount to my Order #1915969?
Thanks

Thanks
Kristian
Hi,
please cancel my PF RPG subscription. I really don't need the Beginners Box.
When it is out, I will re-subscribe.
Kristian
Will Paizo be at the Spiel 2011 in Essen, Germany?
Hi,
please cancel order '1506213: Burning Wheel: Monster Burner. That order was made in error!
Thanks
Kristian
At the FFG webpage they have a cover & description of this book up.
SPACE MARINES!
...to add order #1362242 to order #1335855 and ship them together?
If too late and/or too much trouble I am ok with it.
Thanks
Kristian
Has anyone an idea when or if this will be published?
This boxed set shows a cover on the Green Ronin Homepage, you might want to update it.
I just saw that on the Goodman Games Homepage the Book has a cover. So PAIZO might want to add that to the product.
Then I saw that GG sells this book for 9.99 but at PAIZO it shows for 17.99. Does it mean that this price is only if I order from GG directly?
I just noticed that in the Blog entry the scale of the Westcrown map increased from
1 inch = 4,000 feet
to
1 inch = 1 mile inthe last paragraph.
I guess that this is due to an overworked editor or Westcrown is a truly giantic city :-)
Hi,
as it seems that "Book of the Damned #1" will only be available from Nov. 11 onwards, can you put the book in the next monthly shipment (the November one) and ship #1248533?
Thanks
Kristian
Finally the first part of Slumbering TSAR from Necromancer Games done by Greg Vaughn is available.
Go forth and buy this awesome adventure (146 pages) so Necromancer will also release Part II and III of this series!
Hi,
can you please cancel order #1209732?
With all the normal Pathfinder and PFRPG Stuff coming out can not afford these two books just yet.
Thanks
Kristian
Hi,
how can I add the contents of Order #1209732 to the monthly Shipment package?
Thanks
Kristian
Hi,
can you add pre-order Nr. 1136637 (A Song of Ice and Fire: Campaign Guide Hardcover) so it ships with th monthly shipment (if that makes sense from a shipping costs prspective)?
Thanks
Kristian
Hi,
looking at my sidecart, I see that the PFRPG is still priced at 49.99 and does not sho the 15% off for AP subscribers.
Is this correct?
Thanks
Kristian
Hi,
normally I receive an order between 14-20 days after sending. This Order from 12/09/08 has not arrived yet. Are you able to track it and see where it is and if it got lost?
Thanks!
Kristian
Hi,
check out this webpage:
The Hunt for Gollum.
This promises to be a very good film that shames Mr. Jackson if both compare budget!
So my Fighter has +4 Str Bonus, uses Power Attack with 2 handed Maul for +3 damage and has Weapon Focus for +1 damage fo a whopping 2d6+8
If i miss with Reaping Strike I do Strength Bonus Damage (as I use a 2-handed Weapon)
Now, is it
- 8 points as other bonusses from the "normal" damage are included
or
- 4 points as it is Str. Bonus only?
Hi, I noticed that there is no entry for Demogorgon as a Demonlord in the PFCS even though the name is no WoC IP as good ole' Milton used it for paradise lost.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy that for once Orcus is there but not Demogorgon and Grazzt (fo which WoC holds IP).
Just want to know if there was some reason.
Hi,
just to inform you:
Goodman Games has also put all print Dungeon Crawl Classics on the "the end is near" 50% sale.
You can order from their Website.
I hope that Paizo can also sell Print Stuff at 20% soon!
Hi,
I just saw that:
Order Nr. 959659 I get "Tower of the Last Baron" as single shipment.
and
Order Nr. 972442 I get "Tower of the Last Baron" together with the PF AP shipment.
This Issue is probably due because I first ordered Tower but then became Subscriber for the adventures with Tower as my first adventure to receive. But the old, single order of Tower was not cancelled.
Can you sort my orders out so I get only 1 x Tower?
Can you also sort out that I will only get 1 shipment per month with all my subscriptions as supersubscriber?
Thanks a lot!
Kristian
I have a question regarding the Martial Power Blast effects: If I affect more than one target, lets say 4. Do I use up 1 bolt/arrow/weapon per target? I can not find any rules concerning this.
If yes, this would be a severe ressource drain compared to the arcane balst powers for example.
If no, how can I explain that 1 Dagger hits 4 targets if I do not want to go the way of "Hero"(the film).
To clarify the ability, I suggest to change the first sentence in the Jack of all Trades Block as follows:
At 19th level, the bard can use any skill untrained, even if the skill requires him to be trained.
Deadly Performance is Deadly!
At 20th level the average Bard will have a +23 perform (X) +2 Skill Focus (perform X) +2 Masterwork Instrument +5 Ability Bonus = 32. Rolling an average 10.5 gives a DC of 42 to save or die.
Even a Great Wyrm Red Dragon with his staggering Will Save of +30 is killed on an average of 55%(SR does not help, Deadly Performance is SU).
Or do i overlook something?
Furthermore the Description of Deadly Performance does not state which type of effect is used.
Is it a Fear effect?
The flat +2 bonus on skill checks is good enough in the lower levels. In higher lvels (from 8+) it will become less useful as the DC of the skill checks rises linear.
I suggest to add an increasing factor to Inspire courage.
Add in the 10th row of the inspire courage block, just before "A bard can't inspire competence in himself":
"At 8th level, and every six bard levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 1 (+3 at 8th, +4 at 14th, and +5 at 20th)."
This will make this ability worthwhile and used even in higher levels.
I like this spell. But it becomes next to usesless in higher levels as the Disable Device Check remains at a static 20.
I suggest to change the wording as follows:
An arcane lock spell cast upon a door, chest, or portal
magically locks it. You can freely pass your own arcane
lock without affecting it. If the locked object has a lock and remains attached to the object, the DC to open that lock increases by 10 or your Caster Level + your Casting bonus if the result is higher.
If the object does not have a lock, this spell creates one that can only be opened with a Disable Device skill Check DC 20 or 10 + your Caster Level + your Casting bonus if the result is higher.
A door or object secured with this spell can be opened only by breaking in or with a successful dispel magic or knock spell. Add 10 to the normal DC to break open a door or portal affected by this
spell. A knock spell does not remove an arcane lock; it only
suppresses the effect for 10 minutes.

I just read the new Devil article.
I cannot help but feel that the role of Devilkind is now diminished.
In the excellent "Tyrants of the Nine Hells" we were told that in the beginning devils were celestials that used to fight demonkind. After a long time they started to fight fire with fire and use questianble methods. The gods tried to expell them but Asmodeus was too clever and used the laws of Heaven for his advantage. Expelled though they were but they got a new role. From now on they would tempt the mortals to sin. Only those who resist this temptation are worthy of Heaven (or whatever celestial afterworld this creature has).
So here the Devils have two roles to play: They fight eternally against the endless Hordes of the Abyss to resist them as long as possible and they tempt mortals.
In the 4th incarnation the Devils rebelled agains a god and got thrown out of Heaven for this. While it is more in line with the real world portrait of Devils they lost their agenda. True, they still tempt mortals, but now they do it out of spite and not for a higher purpose. And while the old Devils had an uneasy truce with other evil deities, they now appear to be servants or mercenaries for them. A role that used to be filled by the yugoloths. As there is no mention of the bloodwar, I assume that there is no bloodwar anymore.
So what purpose does Devilkind have in the new edition besides sword- and spellfodder for the PCs?
What do you think?
To align the rules with all other mechanics I suggest to change from
"If your attack roll exceeds the DC of the target"
to
"If your attack roll equals or exceeds the DC of the target"
Hi,
I think we can use Monte Cooks idea for Damage reduction and magic items.
Have a look at Damage Reduction Redux.
I used this in my campaign for a year and it worked out very well. A plain vanilla +3 Sword was again the Players favorite.
Dear Paizo Staff,
as much as I love the gorgeous background and the fantastic art, it is toner heavy to print it out.
Would it be possible to produce an easy to print PDF without the art and with a sheer white background?
Thanks!
Kristian

Hi,
I am looking at the new Skill mechanics. I like that there are a lot of skills to make the PCs different.
I like the ease with which skills now can be scaled for NPCs.
But I have a gripe:
Due to the flat bonus on trained skills PCs with the same skill only differ due to better Stats or Magic items or Feats.
I like the idea of the scholar who really specialises in knowledge(History) or the rogue with the almost magic fingers due to his specialisation in the Theft skill. The Drawback, of course, is that these Specialists excell in one area, but are not as good or even untrained in other areas.
How to implement it in the mechanics?
Well, here I take inspiration from the Warhammer FRP. If you take a skill more than once, you receive a +10% bonus for your skill check.
In D&D Terms that would be: Spend 2 skill points on one skill, or later spend another skill point on a skill you already have grants you a bonus.
How high should this bonus be?
I am against a flat bonus as this would make most players specialise early in the game as the bonus is more important than later where you have magic items and level to boost your skill.
So I think this bonus should scale.
My suggestion:
- If you specialise once ie. spend 2 skill points on one skill, you gain 1.5 x Character level as bonus instead of 1 x Character level as normal (eg. in 4th level you would have Theft of 6+3+other bonuses instead of 4+3+other bonuses).
- If you specialise twice ie. spend 3 skill points on one skill, you gain 1.5 x Character level as bonus instead of 1 x Character level as normal. You also can re-roll your skill check 3/day
- If you specialise thrice ie. spend 4 skill points on one skill, you gain 2 x Character level as bonus instead of 1 x Character level as normal.
another effect of using this skill specialisation will make the unlove Skill Focus Feat obsolete.
Thoughts?
It was not posted here before, so here are 6 Character Sheets (zipped PDF) for 4th edition.
We have:
Tiefling Wizard
Half-Elf Warlock
Human Cleric
Halfling Paladin
Dwarf Fighter
Eladrin Ranger
I am currently sifting through the information and will post my thoughts as soon as I am finished.
Hi,
currently "Monsters of Freeport" and "Skull and Bones" are holding up this Order.
Will the Books be available again or not?
If they won't be available anymore, can you remove both items so the order can ship?
Can you also remove "Unholy Warriors Handbbok" from the Order (I now have the Book of Fiends and there is a 3.5 Version of this Class)?
Thanks very much!

Reading through the Foxglove Manor section I had some ideas how to spice up the final encounter with Aldern.
I will ad a Ghoul dressed in Servant Livree to the room. This serves two purposes:
1) The Ghoul and Aldern can flank PCs so that Aldern can use his Sneak Attack
2) The Ghoul serves to make the scenario even more creepy. Aldern with his Lodship persona is still a noble and "noblesse obligé" after all.
Depending upon Alderns obsession the room looks different:
Lust: Aldern sits in the chair. The table in front of him laid out for a Dinner for two. A silken table cloth, once beautiful, but now spoiled and rotten. Two sets of stained and corroded silver dishes. Two sets of stained crystal glasses. A candle burning feebly, giving flickering light.
The servant is in the process of pouring clotted blood from a siver decanter into a crystal glass that Aldern daintily holds in his right hand.
On a sidetable heaps of rotten meat wait to be served by the servant.
Aldern invites the PC to sit down and share the meal (see pg. 38)
Envy: Aldern sits in an armchair, a book in his hand. A burning brazier in from of him fills the room with a red glow. A chrystal goblet stands on a dainty but rotten table beside the chair. Clotted blood fills it. A silver platter heaped with small morsels of rotten meat (snacks are essential while reading) stands also on the table.
The servant Ghoul stands beside armchair and table, ready to refill the goblet from his decanter.
Seing the PCs, Aldern closes the Book, pops a morsel of meat into his mouth and then speaks (see pg. 38)
Wrath: The Room is empty except for Aldern and his Ghoul Servant. Aldern has just shrugged out of his Coat which the Servant has taken over his left arm. With his right he holds a silver platter upon which the war razor lies. Aldern takes it and swings it a few times while speaking to th PC of his obsession (see pg. 38)
Short question:
Was there ever an ecology article for the Winter Wolf or the Worg?
Thanks!
Surfing amazon.co.uk I found even more Pathfinder Goodness in the pipeline for 2008:
Pathfinder Chronicles.
I just surfed on amazon.co.uk and look what I found, the titles of the next Pathfinder Series. It will be called (according to amazon)
Pathfinder: Curse of the Crimson Throne.
Paizo Team: As this information is up on amazon and freely available I thought it ok to post it. Feel free to delete it if this is somehow giving the wrong information.
Will the Dungeon Issues that contain the Savage Tide AP be available as PDF?
What I have seen of Hawks Hollow looks very good. I especially like the map I can see in the daily Blog.
But here my Nitpick: shouldn't the paper Mill stand beside the river?
Then it could use the waterpower for milling the paper (pressing it etc.)
