Osirion

Name: Aiden
Race: Human
Classes/levels: Rogue 2
Adventure: Stolen Lands
Location: Temple of the Elk
Catalyst: That stupid bear...
The Gory Details: Aiden slipped around the far side of the pool to try and flank the bear. He failed his stealth check and the bear charged him. The rest of the party couldn't get to him before he was mauled to death.

Why do all my favorite characters have to die?!?

Osirion

Would it be possible to cast geas (or something like it) on a person tell them to tell the wife they witnessed the death then use hidden knowledge or Sequester Thoughts to make him believe he actually did?

As far as just killing him. He believes he is holding the party back. He knows they would never just let him leave, so he recruited the enchantress to help fake his death.

Osirion

On polymorphing: He's a druid. He can change his own shape.

On imprisoning: The husband asked the enchantress for help in faking his own death.

Osirion

The only reviving magic I have access to is the husband is a druid with reincarnate (can't cast it on yourself). The Enchantress wants the wife to believe he is dead and then make the wife forget she was ever there.

In one game that I am playing we are doing a darkest timeline version. All of our PC's from RotR, JR, SS, & CC are falling to the darkest versions of themselves all centered around one event that was altered.

My question involves the corrupting of one of my PC's. I have a high level Kitsune Enchantress that needs to make another PC believe that her husband is dead. The problem is that the PC is a mythic Heirophant with the ability to know when someone is lying to her so her +39 bluff isn't gong to help.

Does anyone have a suggestion of magical ways of making this happen? A magic item, spell, or combination thereof?

Osirion

Lol You shouldn't have put that idea in his head.

Osirion

My GM suggested tear away clothes for quick undressing (a standard action). Are those one use or can they be reused?

Wear a collar with permanent disguise self on it. It might get a little chilly going au natural but should save on clothing repair.

Sadly, that is too expensive for a first level PC, lol.

Osirion

As far as the baggy clothes, Nikolai, the werewolf, is actually rather cocky. He prefers tight fighting apparel.

To the undressing, the more likely, how long would that take in combat?

Osirion

I'm going to play a werewolf in an upcoming AP and am in need of some advise. In the hybrid form he will still be in his gear and as we all know clothes get torn to shreds during the transformation.

I guess what I'm asking is, how do I avoid having to constantly buy new clothes?

Osirion

Thanks guys! That's what I thought but I wasn't 100% sure.

Osirion

I'm working on building a character whose dexterity modifier is -1. If flat-footed AC denies the dex bonus, does that mean his flat-footed is higher than his regular AC?

Osirion

Thanks. :) we're going back in time and running Rise of the Runelords. We played Jade Regent last year and are running Shattered Star right now. We thought it would be cool to go back and see where our other characters were then.

My character for RotR is Nikolai Vassly. He was born a wolf in the forests of Ustalav. He's hiding in Varisia from his crazed siblings and ends up on Sandpoint just in time for the adventure to begin.

Osirion

I'm playing a werewolf in a campaign in a few months. He's going to have a love interest who is a kitsune. The thought crossed my mind: what would happen if a kitsune was bitten by a werewolf? Would anything happen? Or would it be a weird fox/wolf hybrid?

Osirion

The combat ended up being one player and myself rolling back and forth opposing prof sailor checks. the other player sat bored until we managed to grapple the ship and start regular combat. I am mainly wondering if there is any way to include the other player? or would it be better to just skip it?

Osirion

I am having a problem with ship to ship combat. It doesn't keep all of my players entertained. One is really excited about it while the other sits bored until its done. Any suggestions?

Osirion

Great minds think alike Trinite! In my game, Plugg and Scourge met the PC's on the island to dispose of them. During battle Plugg fled into the forest. The night before The still living Aaron Ivy in a fit of madness "killed" our undine PC, Ondir. The rest of the PC's searched the island, after the mutiny, for their missing companion, not thinking to search the sunken ship for their water-breathing friend. When he comes out of the water he is caught by Plugg and his shackles of compliance. After having his mind poisoned by Plugg, Ondir agrees to help him escape the island. He goes down into the grindylows' lair and, using is wild empathy ability, convinces the remaining pests that he is their new king. Plugg and Ondir then use the grindylows to "commandeer" a passing ship. Now I just have to figure out when they will make their comeback. I had waaay too much fun coming up with this!

Osirion

We lost a undine PC on Bonewreck Island. In honor of him, We named ours "The Undine's Revenge."

Osirion

I played a boreal sorcerer in jade regent and loved it. I multiclassed one level of magus to be able to wear light armor, but regretted it a later levels. While profession sailor will be useful, remember that the pc's have been press ganged. It's possible that they've never set foot on a boat before.

Osirion

I don't know why, but in my game Sandara is Aussie, Conchobar is a french flirt, and Kroop has a thick drunken cockney accent.

Osirion

We have a very small group (me, my wife, and our friend), so we take turns GMing AP's and we all play.

Osirion

Two of ours speak Aquan and two speak Infernal. I have a feeling some secret conversations going on. lol

Osirion

Our party has an Undine Druid and a Kitsune Bard. We haven't started playing yet, so I'm hoping we have enough healing power.

Osirion

I probably missed it some where, but what happens to the crew assigned to take "commandeered" ships to port to sell? Any ideas on how to get them back to the ship or are they released from service (and if that's the case, what happens to the money)?

Osirion

I love this! I was already thinking of keeping him alive, but wasn't sure on what to do with him. I was thinking of having him hanging by his foot by a snare he was working on, but this has so much more personality. :)
