Fortunately, it is not very popular and were it not for the extreme persistence of the owner, it is certain that it would have had to close down by now.
It is a Good inn, so that's 1 gp. per day.
After "the incident", Camris was taken in by the tavern's owner, and he now lives there, doing odd jobs around the tavern and sleeping in the nearby stables. Camris can usually be seen talking to the horses and feeding them apples. His attempts at conversing with the odd gnome have met with some frustration.
Actually, Tenze is very friendly, though a bit shy. Oops. How about, "His conversations with the odd, but friendly, gnome have provided a welcome distraction from his woes."
Sure, that sounds about right. By the way, she says that she wears her hood low because she had 'an accident' at a young age.

How do you want to say Rakless and Tenzekila met? Anything special? (as you can see, he's a little, well, bird-brained, but most of that is his playful nature) Hmm...we both have Conspiracy Hunter, so perhaps we/I decided that there was safety in numbers and I decided to accompany you and make sure that you don't get into too much trouble? That could work. Rakless would naturally gravitate towards another fencer as well(he's proficient, as all Tengu are, but not exceptional, relying mainly on magic to help him wield a blade...he'd likely be in awe of someone with actual talent). Heh, I bet even Rakless can deal more damage than I can...Tenze was only a fencer for the sport of it until she came to Westcrown. Without a crit, the best she can deal is 2.
EDIT: I knew it, your max hit is 10.
I have finished my character!

Cheliax was founded on principles that, while effective, have an unfortunate habit of causing their practitioners to be considered damned. If you're doomed either way, you might as well get some power out of it." She nods, though her voice reveals that she doesn't agree. "Perhaps. It all comes down to morality. If you murder a man who would have died anyway, is it still a sin?" Rakless tilts his head as he looks at the Gnomish woman. "What sort of silly question is that? If someone's going to murder him, of course he would have died anyway. That's why I always keep a cure scroll pinned to the inside of my buckler. Never can tell when someone's going to get all hypothetical and start murdering people." This time Tenze does laugh. "The idea is...oh, nevermind. My point is, while it may be practical, it's still questionable in terms of right or wrong."

"On a whole, most people of any importance in this world would be heading there anyway, so that isn't much of a punishment now, is it?" She shrugs again. "I suppose it depends on the person. If you're willing to deal with devils for a modicum of power, maybe you were heading there no matter what."

"Oh, please. Devils are good to their word, which is more than I can say about most people. You just need to examine that word very closely." "Oh, Devils. And here I am talking about squirrels. Squirrels scratch-scratch-scratch until the sound drives you insane, Devils just double-talk you into giving up your soul. There's no comparison. I'd much rather have Devils nesting in my chimney." The gnome sounds like she is trying to keep from laughing as she speaks. "But when you lose your soul, you go to hell, which for you would be full of squirrels, 'scratch-scratch-scratching' all the time."
Zareth Edemont wrote: Tenzekila Brushketel wrote: She sighs at Zareth's words. "Where I come from, it's considered a bad idea to talk to a devil in the first place. Would that it were somewhere else, a place not steeped in blood and treachery. These canals hide more than just the murdered. Someday, the guilty will be punished. I'll deliver a part of that punishment, gods willing...
"Ah, always good to meet another proper Chelaxian."
"Oh, everywhere's like that, they just hide it better. At least we're honest about it."
Alright, all the summons I'm probably going to ever use are now statted out. Man I hate doing this. "Yeah, right. I'm pretty sure that other countries don't have Tanar'ri in the government."

I'd like to be a goblin barbarian, if that's alright. Though he keeps his race hidden, and speaks well enough to pass for a slightly feral gnome.
Goblin barbarian is totally fine, though I expect you to take some ranks in disguise to keep your race a secret! Of course, hiding your features will give you a circumstance bonus...
I like the idea, I'm interested to see where this goes... :)
EDIT: I see you've changed to ranger... That's all well and good. Great. Of course, Disguise is a cross-class skill, which could pose a problem...fortunately, Weapon Finesse is a fighter bonus feat, so I may be able to find some feat that makes Disguise a class skill...
I'll get to work on my character in a second, I'm really looking forward to this campaign.

Bestial races like us have to stick together in Cheliax. = ) I'm thinking of picking up the Firebrand trait, maybe that's how we met? You're a kenku, or a kobold? Nice.
And sure. Though the fact that she is a goblin is a well-kept secret.
I am thinking that barbarian may not work, though. Perhaps a ranger instead?
I'll take Fencer and Conspiracy Hunter (Sense Motive).
EDIT: Ah, you're a Tengu.
