Wow, lady gaga has a nice baby-maker.

This is the best song + video combination I have seen in 10 years. I really like it.

My fav parts were the cut away shots to evil-skull lady gaga and skull-boy doing a porno dance.

You're talking about Godel's Theorem to a giant, nuclear powered dinosaur that regularly destroys whole cities when he's mildly irritated. Right...

No. That part was for you.

But after, when we had turned our heads back to the action, then we saw Conan deal out his death blow.

I'm sure it will be shown on CNN soon.

Studpuffin wrote:

AoE. No save.

Bah! Rules.

Conan is smart enough to invoke Godel's Theorem. There is not a system of rules that can contain him.

Then, after a long, drawn out dance of death (Of which many books are published and movies made of.) Conan stands atop Godzilla's bloody head. Conan's rippling back muscle twitch plunging his blade directly between Godzilla's eyes.

Crom.

I hear that Cthulhu is scared of cats.

Yep, cats.

I guess in the same way that elephants are afraid of little white mice. It seems paradoxical, and yet it is true..

I do. Cute story, actually.

On the day I got married, almost 9 years ago, my mother-in-law shooed me away from her house (where the wedding was being held) and told me to keep myself busy until 4 pm, when the wedding was to start. She insisted that she didn't need me at all to finish getting ready.

I had friends in town, so we spent that afternoon gaming.

I got to the house for the wedding on time, and in changing into my tuxedo I just put everything in my pants pockets into my tux pockets.

While standing up front while my wife-to-be walked down the aisle, I had a hand in my pocket and realized I'd stuck a d20 in there. I thought "wow, I'm getting married with a d20 in my pocket. How gamer is that?"

Since then, I've always carried a d20 in my pocket for good luck. It's not the same d20, but I've almost always got one in my pocket. *checks* Yep, have one now.

That's a nice story.

I have to ask, does your wife know? Or is it a secret.

I'm sorry, Tensor, I don't mean to be a troll here, but as a joke, I thought the "Wheel" story was in bad taste. I would warn people that it's not for those feeble at heart, like myself.

Scott Carter wrote:
I think you might have to do this one on your own. What kinds of things are you looking for the PCs do/be? Maybe I can help point you in some good directions.

There are two types of a Godzilla RPG game I’m interested in exploring. The first one casts the PCs as the walking, fighting monsters. A player could actually be Godzilla-like; perhaps Godzilla could be a base class. The second type of game has the PCs being human, and having to endure, defeat, and survive living in a world full of attacking monsters; in this version Godzilla would be a savior, but getting his help would be tricky.

In game type one, a crew of Godzilla PCs mixed in with a Mothra NPC, for example, may have to journey into the outer reaches to thwart Cthulhu’s invasion plans. This type of game could allow players to experience all 28 Godzilla movies from the inside out – perhaps each movie could be an adventure.

In the second game type, a band of human PCs (or other race-types) may have to venture into a city under attack by Kaiju and its spawn, for example. After discovering why it is attacking they would have to lead/summon Godzilla into action. Godzilla would have to be called into action by gaining his attention, and this may involve monster politics, and monster intrigue, and monster myth & lore. All the while, the PCs try to stay alive against a backdrop of giant monster battles. And of course, survive against petty human politics and competing factions.

I'm looking for a Godzilla RPG. Perhaps one that takes us through all 28 movies.

All I have found so far is > GURPS Godzilla <

    DESCRIPTION: Someone emailed me this probability question the other day:

    //A person dies and arrives at the gates to heaven. There are three identical doors: one of them leads to heaven, another leads to a 1-day stay in limbo, and then back to the gate, and the other leads to a 2-day stay in limbo, and then back to the gate. Every time the person is back at the gate, the three doors are reshuffled. How long, on the average, will it take to reach heaven?

    Monte Carlo !!

    LANGUAGE: C

    //<begin code>

    #include <stdio.h>
    #include <stdlib.h>
    #include <time.h>

    void main()
    {
    srand(time(NULL));
    int n= 0;
    int simrun= 30000;
    for(int i=0; i<simrun; i++)
    {
    int go= 1;
    while(go)
    {
    double U= (double)rand()/RAND_MAX;
    if (U < .3333)
    go= 0;
    else if (U < .6666)
    n += 1;
    else
    n += 2;
    }//while
    }//for

    double avg= (double)n/simrun;
    printf("avg = %.0lf", avg);

    The real answer is: N= (1/3)(0)+(1/3)(N+1)+(1/3)(N+2) => N= 3

    The Batman Fiasco (redo):

    Batman walks into Conan’s dimly lit room. Near the roaring fire, empty bottles lay about along with sleeping barmaids sans clothing.

    Batman sneers and screams, “Look at me Conan I am a neurotic basket case, because I watched my parents get murdered. Don’t mess with me because I’ll kill you! You hear me Conan, I’m so crazy I’ll kill you!”

    Batman flaps his cape around a bit because he thinks it looks dramatic. “Look at my cool black cape, and all my cool toys. I am the Batman.”

    Conan rolls off of Trillia the wench, “Woman I have to make water. Get rid of that annoying insect over there.” Conan points at Bat Munch (I mean Man?) and silently moves out of the room.

    Trillia draws a lady’s dagger and points it at Batman. The corner of Batman’s mouth quivers as his throat fills with rage. He starts to speak, “Woman…”

    Quick as a willow-wisp Trillia’s executes a not-so-bad lunge and stabs Batman through the eye socket, piercing his brain. His dead body falls backward out an open window into a waiting alley below.

    She smiles, “Hehee. Conan will be so pleased with me.” Trillia lies back down in bed giving her hair a little flick so as to please Conan’s eye when he returns.

    I do not yet own a Kindle 3, but am a mouse click away from buying one. I need to find something out first before I buy:

    I am trying to find out if a Kindle 3 purchased in America can link to Amazon Japan , so I can buy and download ebooks in Japanese.

    Can someone with a Kindle 3 try and see if they can make the link?

    My goal is to have a Kindle 3 with both English language stories and Japanese language stories on it, all in my Kindle directory, so I can read them all.
