Is it the Twilight Zone? Awaiting more specialist appointments now, so life is no less crazy, although I did manage to save an old copy of my accounts over my new copy and wipe out two days work. Nothing like being an idiot to make your life more interesting. Ten Foot treads on the crawling maggot creature, squashing it under his boot. He then tends to Jo's wounds, trading in his spiritual weapon spell for a cure. 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 1) + 2 = 10 He then follows the others lead down the south tunnel, limping slightly from the pain in his lower back where he slammed against the wall. "uuuuurrrggggghhhhhllllleeee" Ten Foot sees stars as he flies through the air and slams into the wall, loosing conciousness. Some time passes, but Ten Foot is not sure how long it is in reality, he wakes up coughing, potion dribbling down his chin. I think I am awake with that, my maths put me at -3, so I am on +2 now? Unless I am dead, that would suck, big time. "I am going to need a beer after this," he grins at San, nodding his head in thanks and tries to stan up gingerly, checking him self for broken bones. He coughs up a bit of blood. "Evil gods, they pack a punch eh?" I will trade in my 2 second level spells for spontaneous CMW's CMW 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10
I am on 30 HP now by my maths and only have the following spells left:
Posting will be patchy as I am having to look after the wife full time while she recuperate. Shall we roll on? Ten Foot watches gigantor approach and gulps, "Mmmm, maybe this was a bad idea." He musters his courage and approaches the statue (5' step if possible, otherwise you get an AOO but I do currently have 10 foot reach as I am enlarged). +1 Greataxe Sacred Burst [Cyndrig the Fiendhacker] : +8 1d12+7 (x3)

How ironic that I am currently reading the old module C1: The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan "Xipe Totec!! bellows Ten Foot "our lord the flayed one, Red Smoking Mirror, the Night Drinker!" he pauses hoping he has got the Statues attention. "No one here shall be parting with their skin, go back to sleep old one," he takes another breath so he can continue yelling "the seasons are not yet changing, the snakes are not ready to shed, we seek only to pass by," Ten Foot touches his birth mark, "Sleep now Lord Flayed One and awake when 'tis your time!" Not sure if it is viable, but I am hoping a channel energy might have some effect, I'll cross one off anyway. And if not you can have fun laughing at Ten's feeble attempt. Ten Foot looks around at the others nervously as they look over the statue wrinkling his nose at the smell. He manages a grin and nudges Vilya in the ribs gesturing at the Statues head as he mutters "shinnies," "I'll take statues over blood big spiders any day," he says with a shudder. "Now what pretend god is that?" he asks himself as he racks his brain. You bugger, I was sure you were going to have Ten plunge over the edge and plummet to his doom. "Wooooooooooooo" Ten Foot yells as he frantically windmills his arms to keep his balance. "Bad idea! Squeaky bum time!" for a few precious seconds the fear of the fall overrides his fear of the spiders. New Round? Ten Foot yells at the top of his voice "YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?" and then practically shouts a prayer to Cayden "BEER!

I can only move 40 feet as a double move and the nearest spider is 50 feet away. Also Jo and Vilya are in the way, so I need reach. Ten Foot continues his mad charge, looking slightly comical now as he continues to roar and charge along the length of the bridge. "Grrrraaaaarrrrrggghhhhh!" Double move to N17. Ten Foot continues to dance from foot to foot, scanning the area for any spiders that have pursued him this far. He is more than 60 feet from the group but can hear there shouts of battle. It is a STANDARD action to use escape artist or a Strength burst check to escape a giant spiders webbing, here are the rules: Web (Ex) Creatures with the web ability can use webs to support themselves and up to one additional creature of the same size. In addition, such creatures can throw a web up to eight times per day. This is similar to an attack with a net but has a maximum range of 50 feet, with a range increment of 10 feet, and is effective against targets up to one size category larger than the web spinner. An entangled creature can escape with a successful Escape Artist check or burst the web with a Strength check. Both are standard actions with a DC equal to 10 + 1/2 creature's HD + creature's Con modifier. Attempts to burst a web by those caught in it suffer a –4 penalty. Web spinners can create sheets of sticky webbing up to three times their size. They usually position these sheets to snare flying creatures but can also try to trap prey on the ground. Approaching creatures must succeed on a DC 20 Perception check to notice a web; otherwise they stumble into it and become trapped as though by a successful web attack. Attempts to escape or burst the webbing gain a +5 bonus if the trapped creature has something to walk on or grab while pulling free. Each 5-foot-square section of web has a number of hit points equal to the Hit Dice of the creature that created it and DR 5/—. A creature can move across its own web at its climb speed and can pinpoint the location of any creature touching its web. Format: web (+8 ranged, DC 16, 5 hp); Location: Special Attacks. Ten Foot looks up from his daydream only to find it has turned into a nightmare, his eyes bulge in their socket and his fight or flight mechanism kicks in, every muscle in his body tensing, ready to run shrieking like a cheer leader the second he can act. If I am not webbed in place by the time it is my go, I am running, screaming and flailing my arms about as I go. Knocking people out the way or off the edge if they try to stop me. Ten Foot is now Large due to his Enlarge spell. "How nice of them all to gather so my god can blast them," Ten Foot bellows, his voice carrying a little louder than normal due to his increased size. "How did you miss this 'shiney'" he asks Vilya, emphasising the word 'shiney', as he draws it from the rusty weapon from the scarab. "Maybe there is loot on them all?" he muses out loud, as he moves over to the next one to check that as well. Ten Foot lets out a little giggle as he imagines creeping up behind Vilya and yelling "Boo!". He looks around for who has heard and smiles sheepishly, his head nearly touching the ceiling. 4 minute duration on Enlarge, trap detection will use up a minute shall we say? He moves over to one of the skeletal remains while he waits and checks it over. Ten Foot suggests that he goes near the front to make advantage of his ability to see in the dark and his ability to fry undead with the powers of his god. He casts Enlarge on him self and heads into the darkness of the central tunnel, trusting that San and Egan will set off any traps before he blunders into them. Ten Foot stands confused "Now that is odd, something or someone must be commanding them, it is my understanding that lesser Undead like Skeletons can not carry out more than one task at a time, retreating to draw us onwards is a complex command I would think." He looks around at the others, "I am intrigued as to where and why they left, lets follow on like the proverbial cat?" Ten Foot has 60 foot darkvision, any sign of where they went? Sorry for the absence, real life invaded my cosy fantasy world. Ten Foot finds himself bringing up the rear, his warm cloaking from the remove fear spell fades and he suddenly feels a little big more vulnerable. "Spiders have more legs, fangs and poison!" Ten Foot responds, he does not look like he is even remotely happy to head into Spiderville and be a walking smorgasbord. "But if you insist on heading in there then I better pray for some courage," Ten Foot kneels and intones a prayer to Cayden Cailean for inspiration in the face of his fears.
