(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

No worries Ten/ADMaE. I hope your wife is feeling better, and hop in whne you want, you guys are heading into a new zone.

Is it the Twilight Zone?

Awaiting more specialist appointments now, so life is no less crazy, although I did manage to save an old copy of my accounts over my new copy and wipe out two days work. Nothing like being an idiot to make your life more interesting.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot treads on the crawling maggot creature, squashing it under his boot.

He then tends to Jo's wounds, trading in his spiritual weapon spell for a cure.

2d8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 1) + 2 = 10

He then follows the others lead down the south tunnel, limping slightly from the pain in his lower back where he slammed against the wall.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

I have not managed to level up Ten yet, I will try over the weekend.

I am also following the thread, just not posted yet, apart from one that seems to have been eaten on Tuesday.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

"uuuuurrrggggghhhhhllllleeee" Ten Foot sees stars as he flies through the air and slams into the wall, loosing conciousness.

Some time passes, but Ten Foot is not sure how long it is in reality, he wakes up coughing, potion dribbling down his chin.

I think I am awake with that, my maths put me at -3, so I am on +2 now? Unless I am dead, that would suck, big time.

"I am going to need a beer after this," he grins at San, nodding his head in thanks and tries to stan up gingerly, checking him self for broken bones. He coughs up a bit of blood.

"Evil gods, they pack a punch eh?"

I will trade in my 2 second level spells for spontaneous CMW's

CMW 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10
CMW 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (8, 6) + 4 = 18

I am on 30 HP now by my maths and only have the following spells left:
1st Level
Bless
protection-from-evil
Bonus Wisdom: hide-from-undead
2nd Level 2+1(wis) +1(Domain)
Bonus Wisdom: consecrate
Domain: Bulls Strength

Posting will be patchy as I am having to look after the wife full time while she recuperate.

Shall we roll on?

Ten Foot watches gigantor approach and gulps, "Mmmm, maybe this was a bad idea."

He musters his courage and approaches the statue (5' step if possible, otherwise you get an AOO but I do currently have 10 foot reach as I am enlarged).

+1 Greataxe Sacred Burst [Cyndrig the Fiendhacker] : +8 1d12+7 (x3)
Sacred Burst: Acts as a Sacred weapon (when active, deals an extra 1d6 damage to undead, 2d6 to evil outsiders, and counts as good-aligned for damage reduction.), deals extra damage on a critical hit (2d10 to undead, 4d10 to evil outsiders) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

3d6 + 8 ⇒ (6, 6, 2) + 8 = 22

1d6 ⇒ 2

And my great to hit rolls continue.

Ten, Pat needs your Channel Damage from before. Just in case you missed it. :)

I had missed it.

So:
Channel Positive Energy: 3(base) +1(chr) +2(Extra turning) = 6 per day DC-12, HP-4d6 (+2d6 from Phylactery of Positive Energy) USED=3 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 4) = 10

Initiative: +1 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

"False god, go back to Xibalba, willing or not!" Ten Foot does not seem at all perturbed by the turn of events.

Am I still big at this point? The spell lasts 4 minutes, I am not sure how long it has been since the bridge.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

How ironic that I am currently reading the old module C1: The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan

"Xipe Totec!! bellows Ten Foot "our lord the flayed one, Red Smoking Mirror, the Night Drinker!" he pauses hoping he has got the Statues attention. "No one here shall be parting with their skin, go back to sleep old one," he takes another breath so he can continue yelling "the seasons are not yet changing, the snakes are not ready to shed, we seek only to pass by," Ten Foot touches his birth mark, "Sleep now Lord Flayed One and awake when 'tis your time!"

Not sure if it is viable, but I am hoping a channel energy might have some effect, I'll cross one off anyway. And if not you can have fun laughing at Ten's feeble attempt.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot looks around at the others nervously as they look over the statue wrinkling his nose at the smell. He manages a grin and nudges Vilya in the ribs gesturing at the Statues head as he mutters "shinnies,"

"I'll take statues over blood big spiders any day," he says with a shudder. "Now what pretend god is that?" he asks himself as he racks his brain.

Ten Foot constantly swats at his clothes and checks behind them, this helmet scraping against the ceiling periodically.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot loses any pretence of bravery when the egg sac burst and shrieks like a cheer leader as he barrels along the walk way after the others.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot scans the ceiling, his enlarged eyes glittering in the poor light "Come on you big hairy ba$%&ÂŁds!" he yells up at the darkness, his axe clutched in his hand so tight that his fingers start to tingle.

Darkvision 60 feet

He seems too lost in his impotent rage to suggest that they check the altar why they have a chance.

You bugger, I was sure you were going to have Ten plunge over the edge and plummet to his doom.

"Wooooooooooooo" Ten Foot yells as he frantically windmills his arms to keep his balance. "Bad idea! Squeaky bum time!" for a few precious seconds the fear of the fall overrides his fear of the spiders.

New Round?

Ten Foot yells at the top of his voice "YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?" and then practically shouts a prayer to Cayden "BEER!
I could kiss and hug it, but I'd rather chug it, put my belly out to HERE!"
as he shouts 'here' he begins to swell in size until he stands fully 14 feet tall.

I can only move 40 feet as a double move and the nearest spider is 50 feet away. Also Jo and Vilya are in the way, so I need reach.

Ten Foot continues his mad charge, looking slightly comical now as he continues to roar and charge along the length of the bridge. "Grrrraaaaarrrrrggghhhhh!"

Double move to N17.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot continues to dance from foot to foot, scanning the area for any spiders that have pursued him this far. He is more than 60 feet from the group but can hear there shouts of battle.

Will: +4(class) +3(wis) = +7 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 He bits his bottom lip, drawing blood, takes a few hesitant steps in there direction before letting out a battle shout and charging back in there direction, battleaxe raised above his head. "Raarrrggghhhhh!!!!!"

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot relies on his darkvision to carry him to safely past the back lines of the group and perhaps another 30 feet onward. His companions pleas for aid drowned out by his girly shrieks.

I'll try a STR check since Escape artist takes a full minute.

It is a STANDARD action to use escape artist or a Strength burst check to escape a giant spiders webbing, here are the rules:

Web (Ex) Creatures with the web ability can use webs to support themselves and up to one additional creature of the same size. In addition, such creatures can throw a web up to eight times per day. This is similar to an attack with a net but has a maximum range of 50 feet, with a range increment of 10 feet, and is effective against targets up to one size category larger than the web spinner. An entangled creature can escape with a successful Escape Artist check or burst the web with a Strength check. Both are standard actions with a DC equal to 10 + 1/2 creature's HD + creature's Con modifier. Attempts to burst a web by those caught in it suffer a –4 penalty.

Web spinners can create sheets of sticky webbing up to three times their size. They usually position these sheets to snare flying creatures but can also try to trap prey on the ground. Approaching creatures must succeed on a DC 20 Perception check to notice a web; otherwise they stumble into it and become trapped as though by a successful web attack. Attempts to escape or burst the webbing gain a +5 bonus if the trapped creature has something to walk on or grab while pulling free. Each 5-foot-square section of web has a number of hit points equal to the Hit Dice of the creature that created it and DR 5/—.

A creature can move across its own web at its climb speed and can pinpoint the location of any creature touching its web.

Format: web (+8 ranged, DC 16, 5 hp); Location: Special Attacks.

Ten Foot looks up from his daydream only to find it has turned into a nightmare, his eyes bulge in their socket and his fight or flight mechanism kicks in, every muscle in his body tensing, ready to run shrieking like a cheer leader the second he can act.

If I am not webbed in place by the time it is my go, I am running, screaming and flailing my arms about as I go. Knocking people out the way or off the edge if they try to stop me.

Ten stops peering over the edge and looks up at the others, seeing no volunteers he steps forward, "come on San, I am growing old while we wait for some one to grow a pair!" he chuckles, "lets get going."

He leads the way out onto the bridge, axe in hand.

The skeleton Ten looks at is dressed in the rags of once-fine robes. Its rusty sword, still scabbarded, has a nice gold and gem-studded hilt

"How did you miss this 'shiney'" he asks Vilya, emphasising the word 'shiney', as he draws it from the rusty weapon from the scarab. "Maybe there is loot on them all?" he muses out loud, as he moves over to the next one to check that as well.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot lets out a little giggle as he imagines creeping up behind Vilya and yelling "Boo!".

He looks around for who has heard and smiles sheepishly, his head nearly touching the ceiling.

4 minute duration on Enlarge, trap detection will use up a minute shall we say?

He moves over to one of the skeletal remains while he waits and checks it over.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot suggests that he goes near the front to make advantage of his ability to see in the dark and his ability to fry undead with the powers of his god.

He casts Enlarge on him self and heads into the darkness of the central tunnel, trusting that San and Egan will set off any traps before he blunders into them.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot stands confused "Now that is odd, something or someone must be commanding them, it is my understanding that lesser Undead like Skeletons can not carry out more than one task at a time, retreating to draw us onwards is a complex command I would think." He looks around at the others, "I am intrigued as to where and why they left, lets follow on like the proverbial cat?"

Ten Foot has 60 foot darkvision, any sign of where they went?

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot lets out a whoop and barrels forwards, trying to shatter one of his opponents with his axe, unfortunately his charge is blocked by Sanvoros who steps into his path and he only just manages to divert his direction at the last moment to attack the other skeleton. His blow going wild.

Sorry for the absence, real life invaded my cosy fantasy world.

Ten Foot finds himself bringing up the rear, his warm cloaking from the remove fear spell fades and he suddenly feels a little big more vulnerable.

To counter act this he calls on the god of adventure to grant him strength to face the oncoming foe. Cast Bulls Strength.

Ten Foot looks round in the flickering light allowing his darkvision to take over while he takes count of their opponents.

(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)

Ten Foot was half way towards the corner with the detritus and bones in, not knowing which one that is I am going to say he is in Q24.

"Begone foul beasts, back to what ever whores hell hole spawned you!" Ten Foot bellows at the top of his voice not even slightly phased by the rushing undead, his remove fear spell still bolstering his courage. As he speaks, he brings his battered tankard up and channels his gods spirits (see what I did there?) through it.

Ten Foot peers into the darkness and readies him self for possible combat as he calls on Cayden for Strength and Protection.

Ten Foot casts Bulls Strenght and Protection from Evil on him self, duration 4 minutes each.

"Spiders have more legs, fangs and poison!" Ten Foot responds, he does not look like he is even remotely happy to head into Spiderville and be a walking smorgasbord.

"But if you insist on heading in there then I better pray for some courage," Ten Foot kneels and intones a prayer to Cayden Cailean for inspiration in the face of his fears.

Game terms I am casting Remove Fear which has a 10 minute duration.
