Tarvek, Servant of the Board's page
13 posts. Alias of Kobold Cleaver.

Sir, we're detecting heavy levels of chaos here!
Tarvek sighs with relief. He had feared that the warspirit would bind him as many other undead he had encountered would. He sighs again with peace as he floats to the Gates of Heaven...
Thus far, he has not committed any truly evil acts. Just to make that clear.

"Ready for a tour of your new home? How's the singing voice? I know just the perfect girl for you." Is he talking to Tarvek or Dral? Edited for clarification. Tarvek's spirit. In the spirit realm. Tarvek glares at his oppressor. "Release me, creature of war. Or my friends will see you dead."

Tarvek brings up his sword above his head, directed so that the dragon's attack will result in a hurt foot.
Editfest on my part. Note that 1) I plan on him dying from this encounter no matter what, and the 'permission' to kill him was actually literal. 2) his movement will in no way truly protect him, only hurt the dragon.
In one of the circles outside the building, an armored man appears, looking shaken. When he sees the dragon, he nearly jumps out of his skin. "What?"

We have come in good faith to warn you! Where is the one they call 'Aidan'? I would speak with him!" "Now you would claim peace, yet a short while ago you would attack a child."
"My child." The last words carry the chill of death.
"Feel free to speak to the latest victim of the Flame. If he does not kill you I will. There is a special place in the spirit world for those such as you." "We did not intend to harm the child. As a matter of fact, she was the first to attack to kill. We lost a good man because of her." His voice is bitter. He is silent for a moment, then continues in a calm voice again. "But you say that Aidan has succumbed to the flame? This is terrible news. I must report to my master." He directs the eagle to leave, and the eagle seems glad to be gone. They fly back to their forces, where they soon vanish from sight.

Despite your hostilites to ourselves, we come to tell you that, as a Champion, your 'Aiden' is in significant danger! We have recently discovered that occasionally, those few Champions who live past the need for them may become a threat to the peace!" A voice whispers on the wind.
"Tarvek. Fourth Captain of the Servants. Why do you hide your soul?"
The eagle beneath Tarvek falters, as spirits try to force it towards the Eyrie grounds.
"I name you criminal."
"The Daughter of the Wind the victim." Tarvek betrays no sign of fear on his face, but his hands themselves, patting the eagle reassuringly, are shaking as he shouts, "I come in peace! We have come in good faith to warn you! Where is the one they call 'Aidan'? I would speak with him!"

"Yeah, you said you were wondering what happened when Champions lived on after the imbalance had been stopped."
"Naturally. They are people chosen to fight for a certain element, whenever the five elements are imbalanced. Right now, we have three champions still active: Aiden, Champion of Fire, Kobold Cleaver, Champion of Board Essence, and that other guy, Champion of--"
"What? What is it?"
Tarvek curses. "I can't believe Kobold Cleaver stuck us with a bunch of new people. Did he want us to fail?"
In case you can't tell, my new plan is that by giving them names, they won't be killed here.
The wreckage is terrible. Only Tarvek seems completely unharmed by the blast, though the lightning bolt seems to have singed him nastily. Dral and Stina are the only others of the team that seem to be alive.
"Which of you said it?"
