Background
How would you describe yourself in a single sentence? AND ALSO How did you end up in Sandpoint?
"I don't hardly reckon that's none of your business, but if'n you gotta know, I suppose there ain't no harm in sayin' I'm ol' Yorg Feyn's adopted boy, or that he found me while out pickin' truffles in the woods over yonder. I don't know much of how I got to be there, but Papa says I'm touched in a witchin' way, and sometimes animals treat me like kin. He say it's strange, but it's all I know. Besides, it's how I got my only friend 'round here, Orvis!"
Who do you live with? "I live with my Papa Yorg, and his two daughters, Maribel and Angelene. We got ourselves a little cabin and a patch of land to work, and Papa lets me help him sometimes!"
What do you want to do when you grow up? "I want to take over Papa's farm, and grow the finest vegetables like Sandpoint ain't never seen, and then I want to sell them, and make people like me because I'm giving them good food to eat! When the folk around Sandpoint finally like me and buy my fruit, I'll travel the world with my money and find new plants to grow."
Who is your best friend? "Most of the boys around here just pick up they bags and walk back to they homes when I come 'round, but a couple of the girls treat me okay...I especially like to spend time with Ileyna. She even let me meet Tallow once, and I didn't cry or scream or nothin'!" Ileyna/Aest, I hope this is okay - I'm happy to revise if you don't want to be associated with me at all.
What is your favorite scary tale? "Papa tells this real spooky yarn about a fella who was hanged. They say he's a merchant, wandering from place to place to sell his goods, and the night before he come into town, a different fella got robbed on the road.
So this merchant, he shows up and they ask him if he got any chalk, like the first man had, and he did. They ask him if he got any pepper, like the first man had, and he did. Then they asked him if he had a spying glass, and he said he ain't got one. But, they looked in his things, and he sure enough, he had the spyglass like the first man had.
So they hanged this merchant fella, and left him there, and for days and days, this merchant fella's mean old dog sat under him at the foot of the tree. Wouldn't let nobody touch his body.
Finally, after a week or two, the merchant's body rotted and fell, and disappeared! Then, not three nights later, the first man, he was walking back home to his town, just as proud as a peacock that his plan to get revenge on the merchant worked.
You see, he'd felt like he got swindled by the merchant, and so he planted that spyglass back in his bags, as a trap. But wouldn't you know it, on his way back, he was attacked by a glowing man and a dog on the road!
They killed him, and left his body, and even now, Papa says the merchant and his dog walk the roads between towns, killin' any man with revenge in his heart, or greed in his eye."
Who is the most awesome person ever, and why is she Shalelu Andoshana?
"Shalelu's the woman who protects our woods! She comes 'round every now and then, and always knows what's happening around here. Her friend Ameiko is a nice lady, too, and gives Ms. Andoshana free drinks and everything! I wanna be like a boy-Shalelu when I grow up, except with my own farm and Orvis to keep me company, because I'm sure it's awful lonely out in the woods all the time without Orvis."
