He isn't that disruptive. Just endlessly amusing :)

So we have a guy we game with regularly, he is fun to game with so don't get me wrong but his characters he plays tend to do some rather amusing things we have taken to making little memes of.

These are the various jokes we have put up for him.

Anyone have similar things to share?

^_^

Bump.

This campaign is currently going on.

We just had a player drop out because their work schedule changed which leaves a void to fill.

This is at the time mention above, 1 opening. We are currently about halfway through book 2 and the party is level 5.

Bump, still possibly room for one more depending on what you can bring, looks like I have a barbarian, an inquisitor, a cleric and a urban ranger.
IF you can bring something else they might need I would consider one more but no more.

This will not be a Pbp.
I have two friends currently and am seeking two more for a skype/maptools game. This will be a game ran every thursday starting around 8pm to 8:30pm EST.

Anyone interested should post a basic concept here. The party will already have an inquisitor and a barbarian.

Again I am only seeking 2 and will likely choose concepts that help fill roles the party is missing.

So uh, we desperately need one more for Wednesday (tonights group) if anyone is lurking and available for a skype pathfinder game.

fear of magic? D: but eretria is a sorceress

alright GrumpyCelt... You've made it incredibly hard to contact you somehow... and I have been trying to.

I'll check with you two after work today, grumpy you got skype I can try to talk to you with my phone before I get off work.

I am looking for people willing to do skype games or gather for games in Cleveland, Ohio. I will not run pbp anymore, I do not like running them at the speed that tend to go at. It will likely be sunday evenings or midweek evenings for the days I have off and won't run to late. Leave your skype here or message me if interested.

alright well... moving this to inactive since nobody is posting anymore... partly my own fault for waiting around so long between posts for various people but meh...

Anyone still there?

Okay well apparently the cleric who was interested can't be bothered to post at all even given ample chance so I hope you guys are still around.

You all manage to return safely and without incident to the city, Nicca hasn't spoken the entire trip despite Lyra's attempts to communicate with the child, though she reluctantly walks with all of you. Though when you start getting closer to the manor it Nicca gets restless and more resistant to travelling the direction you are going.

The mem loss was key to the campaign I said this was meant for tabletop and I was just gonna see how it went for pbp

Well I couldn't have predicted that 4 people would quit where I am and most the hours would get dumped on me. After a long day at work I just don't have the energy to type up an informative post.

not really, planned to make a post but thats two people who quit now :/ really just debating stopping it for now... work has me a bit busier these days anyway.

Well, you have the post on the book now.

As the book is largely useless to non magic users and those who can use magic must wait for the proper spell... it remains so until Gaza prepares the proper spell. Once used however Gaza, you discover a relatively simple phrase that must be chanted as demon blood is applied to the completed circle for it to activate properly if you wish to do so.

Gaza is right, aside from the circle the book is written in a language you do not know.

Aylya you recognize the circle and it is meant only to summon something based off the symbols and keep whatever is summon contained in the circle... but that is all you can figure based on the symbols used in the circle.

actually the book has a lot to do with it but the ones of you who can read it arent saying much on it

and I keep trying to subtly tell you guys there is nothing to see in the city and to explore the crystals but you guys havent posted on it

I guess this just isn't a campaign that will work on pbp.

...I am just gonna say again right now that you aren't gonna find anything else in the city as I already stated before beyond what I said. :/

Alright, you'll get the same exact visions as before. Don't worry about fortitude this time because you were expecting it.

In that case make another dc15 will save

Sorry I should have asked, are you trying to get a vision or just simply touching them?

The woman doesn't say a word, doesn't even seem afraid with your threat of leaving her even when you leave. The trip back to town is uneventful.

Deiner:
The higher ranked clergy of Chaniud expressed concern about a previous cleric they sent out to assist a bazareene noble... they lost contact with him and aren't sure why, however, sticking to the request they sent you out to meet with the woman. They know she was last at her uncles and sent you there to meet her when she returns, if she returns, and help her if she needs further help. This is where you are, though the uncle has refused to see you alone so it seems you must wait outside each day until she returns.

Nothing happens when they are touched together or when you touch them this time.

It seems like the circle seems fairly mundane right now especially seeming rendered useless with the minor defacement, however both crystal shards continue to pulse with light while in proximity to each other, something neither did until the other was present.

Just want to hear an update after this what everyones plans are specifically then I will make a post after work based off what I got so far... if nobody posts I will anyway :)

So you guys are leaving her behind? I just want to be sure before I post the next and introduce the new guy :)

it wasnt lol, it is now

my net was out yesterday or I would have given an update sooner,. sorry guys

Torr:
Defacing the circle at all should render it unusable.

Rona:
A diagram of the circle is in fact, in the book.

No, but now that we are on it... if you guys roll for something and I don't post. Either you found nothing or I am waiting for something current to finish, I really do keep regular track even when I can't quite post yet. Sorry if there is long gaps but I like to wait for certain people to have a chance to post while some of you seem to have time for several a day.

Gaza, their efforts to wake you work. It wasn't anything too terrible that put you out after all.

No sooner then picking up the smaller crystal to compare the one she holds, Gaza suddenly passes out, slumping to the floor.

The woman smirks slightly, "You have me bound... and I am already wounded... sounds like it would be an easy task to kill me don't you think?"

Torr, I saw your post, generally speaking I wasn't going to let you know until Gaza had her chance with is since she posted about messing with them first. I am not ignoring you, your chance will come. Also the alchemist lab was just a typical one, nothing out of the ordinary.

Gaza:
As soon as you touch the smaller crystal you are suddenly somewhere else. Surrounded by purple haze you see many other humanoid figures around you though through the haze its hard to make out specifically what they are who look like. Suddenly one of them lifts an appendage your direction and lightning shoots out at you. Fort dc 15 now please, if you fail you pass out... no real damage

still waiting on Gaza's will save

Nothing in the room is emanating magic except the crystals that Gaza has.

Gaza roll a will save DC15 when you touch the smaller crystal piece.

Rona and Noya, you will recognize the language as abyssal. The book starts off on written notes of someone attempting to find an easy means to give someone presumably a mortal, immortality. There are diagrams of various forms of undead and side notes presumably of experiments to alter the nature of them. The book progresses through other magical means before going on about some kind of other realm energy they suddenly stumbled across that had vast amounts of potential. It suddenly refers to a visit it made to the other realm to try and bring back a creature for study but the results were disappointing. It muses a means to summon a creature in with diagrams that match that on the floor but there are no further notes beyond that.

Torr you saw the same as Gaza, he circle is the same appearing like a summoning circle but you don't know the language that the book is written in.

Gaza:
The equipment seems a run of the mill lab, nothing actively in use, in fact the whole room is neat and organized despite the state of the rest of the city. One the floor however... is clearly some sort of summoning circle. You don't recognize the language in the book at the desk but when you approached and entered the room the sparkling object began to glow faintly with a pulsing light. It seems to be a significantly smaller piece of the same kind of crystal you hold in your inventory.

Nothing in the room detects as evil.

The woman shakes her head, refusing to answer. "I told you before failure would result in my death, intimidating me now is useless as I am dead anyway."

Actually Gaza I was rolling the chances that you were close enough to hear the sound, not your perception on it. I figure the dice decided its excused cause you are in a library someone head deep in books lol. However I did the post last night while still half asleep... either way scrolling up he got a 21 perception and you got an 11 anyway. :)

"I was paid to." The woman answers bluntly though she offers no further information.

With a bit of effort the door busts open, sending a resounding crack echoing into the nearby city streets.

1d100 ⇒ 88
1d100 ⇒ 42
1d100 ⇒ 94

Aylya and Rona you both here a resounding crack like wood being broken from somewhere nearby.

Elarya and Torr, the door creaks open revealing some form of a lab inside. Alchemist materials organized carefully on a table nearby and bookshelves line the open walls. There is a desk on the far side of the room with an open book and something glints slightly as the light creeps in to the room. The majority of the floor a large perfect circle has been painted in with various runes painted in intervals around it.

There is no response.

In an effort to push things forward...
Assuming you eventually take watches and sleep the night goes by uneventful and the woman is awake in the morning though still bound and gagged and appearing very angry.

Gaza: You find very little as far as hints to whats going on in what few records you could find around the city.

[ooc]Something random: 1d5 ⇒ 2

Torr:
Wandering through the city in your search, from the corner of your eye you spot movement and someone that might have matched Honda's appearance but if you call after she doesn't answer and disappears around a corner, if you follow after there is no sign at first until again she disappears around another corner... if you continue to follow this will continue until you end up down an ally at a very ordinary door that has been heavily locked shut... and no further sign of the person you were following.
