Okay guys, I'm going to have to drop this game. Thanks for the opportunity to let Tara run with you, but the posts are just too infrequent to get any development achieved. Good luck to everyone...

[ooc]Assuming all the close by goblins are dead, Tara will also fire an arrow at the warchanter.

Attack 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 1 = 20

Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Tara moves to BB 14, allowing Darian to move backwards. She fires an arrow at goblin 39 as she does so.

Attack 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 1 = 19

Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

After we get through this battle one way or another, I think I'm going to have to bow out of the game. These two week delays make it so I can't really get into the character, I'm afraid.

Tara fires her longbow at G 39.

Attack 1d20 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 3 = 10

Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

What is the creature labeled OD just south of Darian, DM?

Also, if its not too much trouble, can we get an updated map after Darian's killing spree, lol...

Taravel pulls her longbow and fires it at the same column of goblins that Felix was targeting.

Longbow 1d20 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 3 = 6

Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Tara moves back 15' into the illusion and pulls her wand of Mage armor, using a charge off of it. As she does so, she yells to the others, "Numbers are overtaking us! I think getting out of here is our only chance right now!"

AC 15
24/36 HP

HP 24/36

Tara takes the wand, then does as instructed, using it on the warrior, greatly increasing his size.

Tara pulls a potion of CLW and downs it.

CLW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Is the plan to simply retreat now, or are we going to try and hold our position near the illusion?

Tara casts a spell at the closest goblin to Darian and a small glob of acid flies toward it.
She then moves to Y 14.

Ranged touch with Acid Splash 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Damage 1d3 ⇒ 2

Do what you have to do, DM...

Thats fine by me.

Tara takes. 5' step to O 12, and then passes by the hobgoblin as she begins her retreat.

With her 40' movement, I think she can get to V 14 this round.

Im coming next round. Tara really wanted to kill one more goblin.

Taravel throws down her Longspear and swipes at the goblin near with with a vicious claw attack.

Attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Her first claw missed the little creature, so she swings again, cursing her luck.

Attack two 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Tara pulls a potion of healing and drains it, continuing to move toward the others to T 12, trying to keep from being swarmed. "Fall back, Darian. Let's stay together with the others."

CLW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Perfect. I will withdraw and head on that course. N11 sounds fine to me.

[ooc}I'm not really clear on the map, but if I have room to make a withdraw action, I will do that, so I can get reach back with my spear in the upcoming rounds.[/ooc]

Thats fine I'll delay while Darian cuts down the ones he can.

Tara moves back 5' and continues to attack the worg rider.

Attack 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Taravel is hit by both the rider and the mount. She turns and spears at the worg again.

Attack 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Tara readies an action to attack the first worg that approaches her.

Attack 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Attack of Opportuni on Goblin 8

Tara sees the hobgoblins pour out of the cave, and grits her teeth. "It's about to get ugly, Darian."

She attacks the goblin as it runs toward her.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

This will take place after Darian's AoO...

Tara stabs at the oncoming goblin with her spear.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Tara moves beside the warrior, setting her longspear to guard against any surprise attacks.

Sorry, I missed there had been new posts somehow.

Tara follows Darian's lead and moves forth to use her spear to lunge at the goblin.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Tara moves up to Darian's side adn tries to pierce one of the mangy curs.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

oh, okay, let's do that then!

Seeing a goblin near her trek, the barbarian takes a poke at him with her spear. She could always get to the dogs later.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Listening to Darian, Tara begins the trek to the other kennel holding the dogs. Getting rid of them before the goblins could react would be the wisest move.

head toward the other grouping of dogs, hoping to eliminate them before the goblins realize what exactly is happening.

If we are still up...

Tara keeps jabbing with her spear at any of the evil hounds.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

When the dogs move toward Darian, Taravel rushes to his side and takes a poke at one of the foul hounds with her spear.

Can I use my attack/damage rolls from my last post, which didn't happen?

Tara follows and attempts to pierce a goblin with her Longspear.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

I'm fine with doing that. I don't want to kill the fella, but we don't really want him running all willynilly.

The map is working for me.

Ill follow Darian as well as I can...

Tara will let Darian take the lead, then will follow behind him by about 20' or so.

"Yep, that is definitely good to know. Make a note to keep them away from here! Last thing we need is more bad guys."

Spellcraft 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Tara joins in on the focusing on the stone, knowing the look of a Detect Magic spell when she sees one. She uses her own version of the spell to attempt to follow what the wizard is observing.

Tara nods toward Darian, waiting for the sign to head out and take the fight to the goblins.

"I'm much better at the up front duties. Ranged attacks aren't my strength.

"If he causes a problem, I'll take responsibility for it, but I'm sure he'll be on his best behavior, or else HE MIGHT GET HIS NAME IN THE BOOK," Tara whispers the last part very loudly, making sure the gobbie catches her drift.

"He has proven his worth by leading us here. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. We could always tie him to a tree or something to make sure he doesn't scurry away, if you would feel better about it."

"He has brought us To the village, so I say we leave Gobbles up here. No reason to expose him to fighting, as he seems to be keeping up his end of the deal. After we deal with the others, we can collect him and go from there."

"Gobble, are there any traps getting to the village," Tara asks, pointing to the standing stone in particular.

Tara and her new goblin friend can be where ever necessary in the marching order.

"Ugh...well Snotgoble, I'm going to call you 'gobble.' So long as you help us, we can be friends. But if you try to screw us over, I'll not be a very good friend," Tara points to the other goblins' remains in the area.
