After being raised in an orphanage in Magnimar I first entered the local city guard. Afterwards I was employed as a body and house guard to a merchant in Magnimar, but on a night while i sneaked away to a card game (I won much money there), this merchant was murdered and I had to skip town immediately (because the family of my former employer and my partners in the card game where looking after me - I did not cheat - honestly - cross my heart).

I was also a pupil of a Druid, who preached about the wisdom and power of dragons, and how a human may also learn these powers, if he has draconic ancestors in his line. I always had dreams about dragons (mostly copper ones). Trying to awaken my powers by meditating about my dreams I fell asleep. The ship was sunk by a hole in the hull from acid.... thus I was stranded in Sandpoint.

Quick to befriend others Szaranoth never lacked companionship. But he is young, hungry for appraisal and respect from others and sometimes does things to please them that is not in his own best interest. But he found out, that power brings its own appraise from others, and dragons are the most powerful beings on this world. Therefore to master the power of dragons would earn him the respect he craves so much. Sometimes a jester and a fool, sometimes just selflessly helping others.

I don't know...perhaps this should be reflected by an even lower Wisdom...

Appearance:
Szaranoth is of medium height (just a little tad on the high side...) with a powerful build and never without a warm and quick smile. Close cropped black hair, green eyes, fine-lined moustache frame his square features. His clothes are a bit washed out and his hair looks very unruly.

Szaranoth's story:
"The ship I was travelling on had Riddleport as its destination, and it wasn't in the best of conditions. One night I woke up during heavy sea, and there was a hole in the cabin wall, something must have rammed the ship, water was frothing into my cabin. I grabbed my gear and managed to get up to the deck, trying to warn the captain about this. But the crew was already in the boats and paddling away from the ship. It sank very fast as if something was dragging it down. I grabbed myself something made of wood and a rope, latched my gear unto it and plunged into the sea. Made my way to the shore, my gear on the plank. It took me more than a day to get to the coast and arrived this very morning. I am lucky to be alive, but Desna must have smiled upon me."
