Sovereign Court

Looks like the rooms are full and I missed the deadline, but by chance someone drops I'm here to play.

Sovereign Court

That's what I thought, but it never hurts to try.

Sovereign Court

I am working on a Standard Drow and I was going threw their racial traits and came across something I had to question.

Defensive Racial Traits wrote:
Spell Resistance: Drow possess spell resistance (SR) equal to 6 plus their total number of class levels.

Would this be 6 plus 4 levels or 6 plus 4 primary levels plus 2 gestalt levels?

Sovereign Court

I thinking about a Drow Magus (Mindblade) 4/Ninja 2, but we'll see if the dice like me.
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 2) - 1 = 7
4d6 - 4 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 5) - 4 = 16
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 6) - 2 = 15
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 5) - 2 = 17
So that's a 26 point buy, but it's looking like I will have 2 dump stats.

I'm thinking, with racial modifiers his stats should be something like this:
STR:16
DEX:7+2=9
CON:17-2=15
WIS:8
INT:18
CHA:16+2=18

EDIT: I know you've answered a few questions now about HP but I just gotta know are we doing full HP at first level and average for every level to follow or straight average all the way through?

Sovereign Court

Looks like I'm a bit late for the party, but I will gladly take the last spot in the second table, if there is one. But until then I will try and read up on the rules and character creation so I can have someone ready for next time.

Sovereign Court

I have a Level 3 Tiefling Hedge Witch I haven't used in a while who would love to join your party. She is 1 HP away level 4.

Sovereign Court

I'm finding it hard to find time to create a submission so I'm going to bow out of this one.

Sovereign Court

If you're a rider with a class that gives you an animal companion, does your dragon egg/dragon replace that companion or is it in addition?

Sovereign Court

I love dragons, got to go rider.
Stat: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 4) = 1211
Stat: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 5) = 1211
Stat: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 2) = 1412
Stat: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 1) = 1514
Stat: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 4) = 1110
Stat: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 1) = 1514
14 point buy...I think I'll go with the 20 point. I'm thinking some kind of druid.

Sovereign Court

The link isn't working for me, I have a gobo gunslinger from a different campaign that died shortly after it started who'd love to join your crew.

Sovereign Court

To those who made it in good luck and better luck next time for me

Sovereign Court

So who's still here for the game?

Sovereign Court

I've been wanting to try this. What would you say to a Kasatha Gunslinger(pistolero) with Muliweapon Fighting and four dragon pistols?

Sovereign Court

Just a few hours left until decision time so good luck to all who submitted a character.

Sovereign Court

And here he is, Maka, the half-giant brawler. He's just a big brute, think of Fezzik from the Princess Bride, you'll probably get a hit in on him, but then he'll clobber you for being a bad guy.

If you're having trouble seeing his character sheet just let me know and I'll attach it in a spoiler here.

Sovereign Court

Since my last idea was vetoed I've done a lot of research looking for a fun idea and I think I may have just come up with a good one. What would you say to a Half-Giant Brawler with a specialization on power over speed.

Sovereign Court

@Ace and Corsario-I guess if you guys are saying it's to much I'll come up with something else, I just thought it'd be fun to try.

Sovereign Court

@Corsair and Ace-I guess I might have been a bit to subtle, I was wondering if I would be allowed to play a Kasatha Gunslinger or if that was to much of a stretch?

Sovereign Court

Since we're talking crazy cheats I was thinking "Let's go all out". If you'll allow it, I was thinking of drawing up a Kasatha Gunslinger (Pistolero) with Muliweapon Fighting and four dragon pistols.

Sovereign Court

From what I've noticed groups are more likely to use Roll20 over Skype. Roll20 is similar to Skype but it's subscription based. To join on of those groups just keep your eyes on the recruitment threads for someone mentioning a Roll20 game. Sometimes it's in the title but other times you have to look at the description.
You could also start a Skype thread here in the Recruitment threads saying your looking for a group and a GM.
The choice is up to you. Good luck.

Sovereign Court

Life kept getting in the way but I've finally completed my Hobbit Rogue. So my I introduce Everard Butcher.

Do we have an expected start date yet?

Sovereign Court

I have my Hobbit Rogue basically complete, just figuring out the final gear stuff.

Sovereign Court

Well you "win" some, you "loose" some. Congrats to the selected few and I'll keep my eyes out for that possible second table.

Sovereign Court

Well today is decision day, good luck everyone.

Sovereign Court

2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 = 16
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 4) + 6 = 16
I think I'm going to make the standard, but none the less highly needed, Hobbits Rogue.

Sovereign Court

Dotting, but I'll wait for the answers to Swordwhale's questions before I start coming up with a concept.

Sovereign Court

After a couple days of start and stop work, and multiple interruptions, I give you Mechi the Android Wizard (Spellslinger).

Sovereign Court

Ever since I first read the players guide for this AP back when it first came out I've wanted to build an android wizard (spellslinger) who was the deactivated automaton that the wizard Khonnir Baine first discovered in the unknown caves below the city’s central hill. Having been reactivated by Khonnir and his adopted daughter Val. Khonnir taught him the art of wizardry. Now with Khonnir hissing he strives to find his "father", but has run into adversity being an android so he hides his metal exterior under a large brimmed hat and a long trench coat.

Seeing as there a quite a few anti-android submissions I think it could end up with some very interesting RP amount the party.

Please let me know if you think this might fit into your game and I will get him stated up.

Sovereign Court

Congrats to those who were chosen and good luck.

Sovereign Court

I'm starting to buy equipment and looking at the character creation portion of the initial post and says "max starting wealth" Does that mean for your class; i.e. magus-240, alchemist-180, fighter-300; or is it max for PFS, which is 1000?

Sovereign Court

@Bowman: How complete of a character are you looking for at this time? I.e. just the concept, the crunch, a completed alias, backstory, personality profile...

Sovereign Court

So I'm looking at a Elven Magus. Focus Int foible Cha. So my stat block will look like this:
Strength-14
Dexterity-12+2=14
Constitution-14-2=12
Intelligence-18+2=20
Wisdom-13
Charisma-8
So he will basically be Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory but with magic and the ability to swing a sword.

Sovereign Court

Interested, but I was wondering if there are any race restrictions? I looked a couple time just to make sure I didn't miss anything, but I didn't see anything listed.

Well let's roll some stats:
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Not bad, I can work with that. I'll come up with a character after I see your answer about races.

Sovereign Court

Minister Pain wrote:

Thinking 2 level, low point buy, all classes on the table, mainly core races.

No weird child template shenanigans, save an optional bump down to small size.

Now with the "bump down" would that turn an already small character, e.g. a halfling or gnome, down to a tiny character or would they simply stay small. Because a tiny halfling rogue might be kind of fun.

Sovereign Court

Sounds like it could be interesting, but I won't be able to say for sure until I see some kind character creation stuff.

Sovereign Court

Seeing as it is now January I was wondering if any new information is becoming available for this game?

Sovereign Court

So are we going to be stating up both a mecha AND a pilot, just the pilot to start with a basic mecha, or stating the mecha with a basic pilot?

Sovereign Court

I'm from the original thread and I'm still working out the details for my Katsune Unchained Rogue (Katsune Trickster)/Bard (Dervish Dancer).

Sovereign Court

I'm thinking about a Kasumi Rogue (Kasumi Trickster)/Bard (Dervish Dancer) being a thief who uses her dancing to distract her mark before robbing them of all they have. So let's see what her starting will be:
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 6) = 16-2=14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 3) = 13-1=12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 1) = 14-1=13
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 5) = 15-1=14
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 2) = 11-2=9
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 4) = 18-4=14
Not terrible. I've had better, but I've also had worse.
I'll start stating her up today.

Sovereign Court

Looks like you could use a fighter/healer so I'm thinking half-elf paladin.

Sovereign Court

I have this Elven Wizard who has been itching for a game ever since his was dropped shortly after it began about a year or 2 ago.

Sovereign Court

@GM Forgedawn-What are the character building rules going to be so we can start...well building?

Sovereign Court

I'm really interested in playing this, the problem is it's really easy to find players for gestalt games but very hard to find GMs.

Backstory:
Canes Venatici was never a very important member of the pack, she liked to help her pack and loved her 5 pups. Life was good. Then the evil witch attacked, the pack was devastated, but what hurt the most was the lost of 4 of her 5 prized pups. Canis was the only one to survive so Canes made sure never to let him out of her sight.
When the adventures came and saved the remainder of her pack, Canes decided to extend her help to this new group along with whatever help she could provide.

Sovereign Court

Blink dogs traditionally only know Sylvan to start out. Currently there is only one character who speaks this language. Will that character have to play translator for the rest of the party or will we be able to get Common as a free language for some reason, i.e. living close to a human village or something?

Sovereign Court

Thank you for the clarification.

Sovereign Court

Are we supposed to be level 3 or 4? The initial post says that the characters are now at level 3, but looking at what you posted for the blink dog stat creation it looks like a level 4 character. I'm just wondering for the max points we can put in our stats.

Sovereign Court

I was thinking about a mother Blink Dog Druid whose animal companion is her pup (the dog build). She'll protect her pup beyond all else and use her spells to buff the others in the party.

About Feliack

Description:
Feliack is chaming and easily likeable. No, he doesn't have dashing looks or wear stylish clothing. In fact, he dresses like a peasant, albiet a reasonably clean one. It is his cheerful air, ready smile, and helpful attitude that grow on you. Deep down, he really is a nice guy. However, he harbors a dark obsession with death and the power over it. While he might be shocked and saddened to see one man kill another in a bar fight, he would think nothing of raising the corpse as an undead monster, enslaved to his will. He realizes that common folk tend to dislike necromancers, so he does his best to hide his attitudes when not around adventurers (who tend to be more interested in gold and glory than the morals of their neighbor).

He is generally pleasant and likes to make corney jokes. If there are children around, it is difficult to keep his attention as he will
inievitabily find his way into the middle of their play. He is always ready to lend a hand at the drop of a hat, just don't try to pin him down with future commitments. Normally, his gaze is gentle and warm. But you can sometimes catch him staring at someone when he thinks noone else is watching. At those times, his gaze is darkly intense, as if he were considering what they'd look like after a few days in the
ground.

Biography:
Feliack grew up like any other peasant who found his way into a wizard school. He didn't work or play any harder than the other
students. His skills were merely average. His parents had raised him with good morals, teaching him to do the right thing, even if it was
hard. He doesn't know why he is so obsessed with the dead; he just is. At first, he fought against it; enslaving a person's body and soul was an abomination. But he was facinated. He was compelled. After nearly a year of resistance, he finaly gave in and embraced his fantasies
