Is there a way to search for only the threads that I have started? It would be nice to be able to see a capsule of all of my own threads instead of searching all over for them.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks! I got it now.

How do people get only a portion of a previous message in grey in their post? I only seem to get the whole message in grey or nothing.

My favorite (somewhat cheesey) game aid is using the "Knight" lego figures for mini's in my D&D game. I love those little dudes.

I haven't purchased th DMG 2 yet, I guess I might give it spin if would help this situation out.

Unfortunately we meet around 7, screw around till 8-8:30 and play till 10:30. The more often we play the less we waste early in the evening. Focus can be a problem if we haven't played in a while with everyone catching up with each other.

M y brief suggestions for ideas...watch the Sci-Fi Channel Dune mini-series and Lawrence of Arabia. They both should give you a plethora of "setting" ideas.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I think we are definately going to move forward with a couple ideas you have given me. In my group I have 3 different types of players left, a rules guy, an eccentric, and a hack & slasher...I think I can make it work with the right amount of NPC play to assist them.

What is the smallest effective group size you have played with?

My Group went from 6 players + DM to 4 + DM in a year, now we only have 3 players in town + DM, and may start playing with just that. I am worried that the group will be to small to get a lot of ideas going and maintain momentum.

FRCS is by far the best CS to play D&D in. Depth, history, great cities and cool NPC's all over the place. I'd recommend getting the FRCS and reading it a couple times before you use it.

Sydrill Skymoon, an Elf Magic User/Thief (2nd Ed) that I played in the FR setting. I never have developed a backround like the one I had for him, and I really enjoyed roleplaying this Chaotic Good fellow to the T. Unfortunately his entire party died in an ambush one day, and he went a bit crazy and attacked the whole raider encampment later that day by himself. And that was the end of Sydrill, I just didn't want to play him with another party. I still keep his character sheet to this day.

I agree, although I typically but only WOTC DnD books, I would like to see some reviews or coverage of alternate DnD books.

I "loaned" my issue #326 to one of my players and did not get it back. Does anyone know the web address for the greatest gaming table referenced towards the front on the issue?
