If I'm able, I shall fly through the area and grab as many as I can, fly into the air and scan the area for some sort of scrap metal (or similiar material) in which to tie them up. Because I'm moving home around the 19th of october I'm letting you know now that I might not be able to post for a couple of weeks until I can get back online. This is so you don't think I'm prematurely ending this game thread.
Will have an updated map for you by Tuesday which will answer your questions. Been a little busy helping with the packing.
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: (hehe I forgot how to roll intiative)
Looking at machnimera; is he glowing with magic like he is dominated or possesses; do I think my dispel will work? if not; am thinking to use my dark faerie magic to infest him and likely everyone else in the area with Gremlins, who love to play mucky much with technology, the spirit of "anything that can go wrong; will" which attack high technology and make things go haywire; me and supergirl are more fisticuff blasters so I dont think anyone on our team depends upon technology; I just dont know how to do this in game terms so thought i would mention it so you can figure it out.
Given his background he does seem to radiate some form of magic but its not something you're familiar with other than the sense thats there is something inherently magical about the battle armoured foe

The storm builds to a climax as the gun toting goons firing on the vacated former school are stunned as the walls collapse outwards as a red and blue blur passes overhead and out of the recesses of the now demolished building swiftly followed by a black shadow streaking out into the city.
Even as the lighting and thunder mark the storm releasing its fury before the rain descends as a fierce shower there are further lights and explosions from the city interior as the duo fly towards the new disturbance and even as they close in an eery mist ascends from the ground and surrounds the building at the centre of this battle for battle it definitely is.
Atop the New Proverbial Museum a black figure dressed in a long cape adorned with a batmask is leaping around dodging the attacks of what looks like a trio of macabre figures each appear to be rejects from a clown circus except for the edged weapons and energy blasts they throw at their opponent.
At the base a figure seemingly clad in battle armour has just thrown a somewhat malleable body off to the side and is confronting what looks like a woman all dressed in white and a levitating teenager.
**********************************************************
"Oof!" Batman splutters as he's plucked from the batcycle barely a moment before it crashes into the wall.
"Saw you drive off earlier and assumed something else was coming down so sneaked out to follow you, what caused your loss of control?" Skater asked having stopped levitating backwards once he was out of range of the batcycle's explosion.
"We need to head over there, Pong's in trouble!" Batman gasped.
"Okay," Skater sighed as he headed towards the museum.
Closing in they can clearly see Pong bouncing around dodging the blasts of someone, actually several someones' who notice them as they close in.
"Drop me here!" Batman ordered.
Skater obeyed as he dodged the first of the attacks aimed now at them and even as Batman hit the road running he soared up and over before using his power to slingshot him past the attackers and to land on a windowsile of the museum.
The battle armoured figured turned and promptly fired a shoulder mounted missile launcher.
Skater dropped from the window even as three of the five missiles struck the side of the building rocking the entire area.
The remaining two pursued him as he suddenly understood who their opponent was.
"Hey Mechimera, what the heck are you doing!" he yelled at the former comrade.
"Don't bother, I tried that he's gone completely nuts!" Pong yelled back as he intercepted Skater's fall and using his body bounced back off the museum wall and back the way he had come as another missile smashed into the wall narrowly missing them.
Batman threw a pair of batarangs but both were either parried with a thrown dagger or an energy blast from another of the clown attired henchmen.
"Either an old friend of mine has been openly recruiting or you three are in big trouble if ever hears you've been stealing his schtick!" he growls at them.
They don't respond but at least he manages to acrobatically leap past them and using the distraction from the other two fires a batline to the roof and uses it to temporarily escape his three opponents.
Taking a moment to gauge his adversaries he still doesn't know whether this was the work of his nemesis, but given who had almost killed his former team he suspected Mordo was around here somewhere.
As he dodged another round of attacks a cold mist started to emerge from the ground surrounding the museum and whilst not able to watch a part of the entrance suddenly erupted as a group of five figures rushed out and past Mechimera heading straight for the museum followed by a woman dressed all in white.
Had he not seen the Justice League files he wouldn't have recognised her, but even then noone had ever managed to get a clear identification of the Ice Witch so he had to be happy knowing things had just got decidely worse.
Mechimera caught Pong as Skater managed to skid clear of Mechimera's attacks.
Batman paused only for a moment as he saw Mechimera turn to face the Ice Witch as Bats returned his attention to his three attackers and hoped the others got here soon.
It was clear Mechimera had removed his former vulnerability to Skater's powers the missile attack showed he had even formulated a way to deal with the teenager but the former hero didn't know about the two newcomers and that might turn the tide, he hoped.

Supergirl wrote: Wow, sorry but I got lost. Help me out here. Recap and keep in simple please. Sorry have a habit of throwing in side scenes will have to curb that from here on.
Essentially showing what was happening that led to the radio message from batman

MEANWHILE:
"Okay, okay I'm here," pants Pong.
"What was so important you needed to divert me from joining the others?" Pong gasped into his comlink.
"HE DIDN'T" a familiar voice made Pong turn to look over his shoulder.
"Hey..." Pong began to say as his eyes widened as he realised what the speaker was doing.
"Ulp!" he gulped again.
After that it was mostly frantic dodging and being blown around by explosive blasts.
*************************************************************
"Pong what was that you said?" Batman asked.
The strange weather system seemed to be centred above the former museum, he had hoped to pick up reinforcements en route but with Skater's family firmly rebuffing his attempts to recruit the youth and none of the others responding to his calls he had finally headed out in the Batcycle.
It felt strange with the original Batcar still being pulled out of mothballs back at his original bat cave, but with the weird weather he couldn't risk using the batplane and with the comms on the fritz he hoped getting closer might stabilise the radio long enough to get back in contact.
A sudden flash of light off to the side of the route he was using to head to the former museum caught his attention.
Quickly flicking a toggle on his bike he tried again to locate where the others were, unlike Maelidek he had managed to tag supergirl's cape and it indicated she was at the former museum, but Pong was way over at New Proverbial's current museum.
"What is he doing over there?" batman wondered and then remembering Pong's last call decided that maybe he ought to follow his hunches more as he flicked his helmet comlink on and spoke.
This is Batman, can you hear me?" he called to the others over the radio which is noticeably crackly and distorted whether its due to the weather or someone jamming the communicators he wasn't sure.
Noting that the helmet's built in scan screen was showing something odd heading away from the former museum he chose to change direction in response taking care to avoid the traffic and attention of the locals in case they were acting as lookouts for whoever was backing this latest scheme.
"Am tracking a cold front heading back to New Proverbial's Museum of Antiquity, suggest you join me there as soon as possible. Pong is already there, advise caution Mordo isn't working alone!" he then says into the comlink before it goes suddenly dead as does the bike's electronics.
"FAREWELL BATMAN" a strangely familiar voice says as the bike instead of making the turn that would put it in sight of the museum careers off course towards the reinforced wall of the building that borders the road he was trying to take...

into the radio
"confirm transmission understood"
"do you copy, is this working, the storm is magical in nature and directed; the building is under seige; at least 4 parties identified as after the prize."
The building you're inside was the former museum before it was turned into a school and then left vacant, the New Proverbial Museum of Antiquities was robbed on the same night you and Supergirl came up against Baron Mordo when he nearly killed another member of the group you both joined that's led by Batman.
Your earlier conversation with the Ice Witch revealed she had hidden the artefacts she had been blamed for stealing, back where they had been supposedly stolen from.
That is after temporarily draining them of their magical essence to lure the thief our of hiding, unfortunately that someone was either not fooled or set the Rogue's Gallery up as a diversion to search for the artefacts without having to fight her.

A sudden sound distracts the pair of you as turning to look at each other you realise its coming from the communicator Pong gave to Maelidek back at the base.
Since it was during the evening Maelidek had first taken duty at the monitor it had remained unused but kept on his person where it remained forgotten since it was amoungst some of the gear bats had suggested you each carry although in Supergirl's case it was decided most of it wouldn't survive active use until it was modified which would take far longer than fixing her cape.
"This is Batman, can you hear me?" the voice over the radio is noticeably crackly and distorted whether its due to the weather or just being located underground you don't know.
"Am tracking a cold front heading back to New Proverbial's Museum of Antiquity, suggest you join me there as soon as possible. Pong is already there, advise caution Mordo isn't working alone!" he then says as the distortion gets worse and the radio just crackles for a few moments before falling silent.

You can spend it to improve your rolls if necessary its also used for the times when your character is badly hurt to prevent them getting killed, such as agility when dodging or endurance when effected by poisons, disease and even Psyche when being mentally controlled or manipulated by illusions.
Oh and can be used to improve existing abilities but the cost varies between adding a new power, improving an ability score or even increasing your character's resource levels and so on. Popularity however is usually altered by game events and the character's actions though.
Right before i forget add 20 karma to each of your karma pool

Correct me if I'm wrong GM, tis been awhile.
Nope you're close enough as i recall you pretty much had to catch him by surprise since he had encased a few city blocks in a field of darkness and even then he was distracted by Skater after almost killing Johnny Illuminanti in an attempt to steal his abilities
Firefly doesn't need to be told twice as he flees.
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: This Baron and Count; what are their full names; These minions; tell me about them; tell me all you know of each of them. Tell me where I can find the treasure there seek here and why they want it.

"Baron Mordo and Count Vertigo, you know looks identical to that former android," Firefly babbles.
"You want to find the treasure, find Raven before she finds wherever the Ice Dame hid what she took from the Baron, thats if she hasn't found them already though I have no idea why he set all of us on this shindig!" he curses audibly.
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: "perhaps; it is such a bother, at least this isnt a place we have to clean up whats left and I doubt anyone would notice all the screaming; look on the positive side"

"your doing so well"
(I look at him like I am boored with almost no expression yet hard hard eyes of war.)
Firefly looks back he is quite silent.
"Huh?" he sighs.
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: yes I have; what do you know of her; I owe her a punch in the mouth, what do you owe her? "The robed guys are the Baron's minions from what the Count said he's using them to control her, something about the Ice dame not being willing to harm an innocent or something like that," Firefly babbles.

Maelidek the Mystic wrote: "Perhaps, I am a warrior not a policeman, thus my methods might perhaps tend toward what is brutally efficient. Even so; perhaps he can be salvaged"
I land about 10ft away from him, my body taking full form from the streaming darkness that my flying form consists of.
"as I recall; you were speaking to him about some items I am interested in and thus; some activities therin. Speak now of what you know of and if I think it of value and not a diversive waste of my time; I will let you keep your human form with your conscious brain intact."
"and yes, Supergirl is fast; but she is not magus and will not be able to save you, so, what have you to say; events move on and my impatience grows..."
"The baron wants some gear someone stole, something about some mercenaries being stomped by some newbie mutant who was supposed to be hiding here. We were supposed to draw off the Bat so the Baron's flunkies could find the items but somebody hired the hit squad outside, me and the Count were with Bane when he went one on one with the Ice dame and we took cover, you know all that ice of hers is a little dangerous to those of us without the superstuff going for them," he babbles back taking a moment to look past you.
Supergirl:
"Er, have you seen a girl in dark robes surrounded by other robed guys?" Firefly asks nervously.
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: "Stop and surrender; or believe me; you will wish you had villian, if there is enough of you left to wish for anything. Surrender and you will suffer no lasting harm" Trying to turn far too quickly he bashes into several walls making the turn but hardly with any kind of grace as he comes to a stop as his jump pack splutters and finally gives up the ghost leaving him to slide down the revealed corridor ending next to a door.
"Ow! Okay, okay, why did you do that to the Count, I know he's just an android but was that really necessary?" he squirms as you approach.
Supergirl wrote: Is their sufficient room for me to fly either above or below my comrade? If so, once I'm just as far as he is (or slightly further) I shall use my superbreath to inhale and attempt to draw him towards us, thus preventing him from fleeing. In doing so, I hold out my hands to catch the guy. If I'm unable to do this let me know. You can easily outrun him however you'll need to make an agility feat check if you fly since Maelidek is also airborne and in pursuit. Only problem with superbreath is that it will effect Maelidek as well.
Firefly takes off and Maelidek is in hot pursuit with Supergirl considering her options.
The headless android twitches beside her even as its head bobbles around a few feet away from the body.
Your call I'm going to get the next map ready hopefully get it up by Tuesday since I've been drafted to laminate a lot of family photos!
"Holy...!" shrieks the flyer as Maelidek throws Supergirl at Count Vertigo.
Its enough to make the Count nervous enough to duck but he had already activated his monocol and that is enough to block the thrown missile admittedly only for about a second or two before she smashes through the protective shield and nearly takes Count Vertigo's head off as the android topples over and the fall completely destroys the head.
The flyer's response is to take off in fright!
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: I throw Supergirl at the monicaled guy hopeing she is quick on the uptake and pops him one; and eldritch blast the flyer. I am pretty strong and think she is invulnerable; so I throw her really hard hoping to get surprise with such an unexpected action.
"try not to take his head off; we might want to talk to him about whats here and what isnt"
Nice, make an agility feat check for the throw will wait for supergirl's response on the latter part!
Ahead of you a figure looms into view.
The Monocled Stranger
He looks up as you head towards him as another figure zips down to land near him.
Flyer
"Hey boss its Bane I thought that Ice girl took him down earlier?" the flyer mutters sounding surprised.
"No Firefly," the monocled stranger replies reaching up to touch his monocle.
"That isn't Bane, I'd say its another magician come to scrabble around for baubles that are no longer here," he explains as his monocle glows.

Make an intuition feat roll if you want to estimate what direction its coming from
Ahead of you you begin to notice you're being followed well the white clad figures seem more interested in fighting the black clad figures but after a while they seem to stop their fighting and start paying more attention to you as you reach your destination.
Maelidek make an Intuition feat check, whilst Supergirl you are beginning to feel rather ill although you're not sure of the source of what ails you

Route A; having gone into the cafeteria; back out to stairs and follow path A.
Before you make the turn to head into the centre of the former museum you can see the front foyer better where a fierce battle is being waged between the Lexcorp mercenaries and the gathered ranks of minions and members of Batman's rogues' gallery.
Fortunately it seems Bane is still outside somewhere but as you head left you see members of the Penguins henchmen running past the far end of the corridor you're now walking up and they seem to be reinforcing the fight at the front.
It seems for the moment that the trio you left behind in the cafeteria have chosen not to follow you and there's no sign of the silver disc either.

Maelidek's Sense
Above are two links the first is what you saw when you first entered the ground floor from the basement the second is when Maelidek used his power to sense around

This link is to the original map of the ground floor as a reminder since Supergirl can see around it from the inside
Maelidek the Mystic wrote: Fill the room with Darkness; (yellow result) pick up Supergirl and leave the room as planned looking for the next group or a clue to artifact or someone who looks like he recognizes Bane as an ally.
Put on a gloating smirk.
You manage fine, await Supergirl's response before posting a map update
Maelidek assumes Bane's form and shortly after he does so two energy blasts pass through his body fortunately since Bane is that much bigger they miss him harmlessly however its clear the trio find the villain's appearance quite threatening.
Assumed its an illusion what do you want to do now?
Supergirl wrote: Intuition result check is 03 (white). Sigh! Thats okay so you can either try and pass the trio in the cafeteria, follow the route Maelidek was looking at or consider where the Riddler and his goons were running to

I rolled a green (24) for super hearing and a red (100%) for my x-ray vision, should this opportunity be available.
Supergirl:
One of the three with the mohican hair style starts growing in size to roughly 12' in height and quickly hefts some of the debris around them out of the way.
The other two are checking out the area and whilst they can see Maelidek seem to be just watching the area for now with only one paying attention to Maelidek and the other keeping an eye on the other exit from the cafeteria whilst their buddy is shoring up the now demolished window that had served as the rear of the cafeteria.
Supergirl wrote: Heat vision, ok, I rolled a 75 for a yellow result (Unearthly rank). Is there any effect to this little bugger? The energy field dissipates supergirl's heat vision but not enough to avoid punching it straight through the wall of the cafeteria and almost into the next room beyond its confines!
Even as it comes to rest three figures suddenly career into the vacated cafeteria, two are dressed in unadorned battle armour whilst the third looks a lot like a mohican haired giant.
They don't appear to have noticed you yet.

Marvel Feat Table
A truly dangerous storm is indeed building outside however as you fly across and smash into the disc it barely manages to remain upright as your blow drives it into the opposite side of the cafeteria's wall.
Takes Excellent damage and is now looking dented, awaiting Supergirl's heat vision attack before posting the disc's next move
Supergirl wrote: Using my Heat vision, I shall try and melt the exterior/motor/weaponry of the disc. Hopefully it will disable the machine. I believe I already tried to use x-ray vision on the device and that didn't work. If I'm incorrect, I shall also try that. Do I have any idea if it is strictly a machine or if their is a little person/alien inside? X-Ray Vision doesn't work and the last time you saw this particular vehicle it didn't have a sealed top and had a pilot literally fixed to the disc inside where that sealed top is
Supergirl wrote: I will stand in square G-15 and as the thugs approach I shall attempt to use super breath and blow them back across the room. If I need an initiative roll it is an 8.
I checked the book to see how initiative works and it didn't say what size die to roll. I assume it's a d10, if not please correct me. It's been awhile since we rolled for initiative.
No problems the thugs by the way were running away before the silver disc burst into the cafeteria
The silver disc now trying to hover is sent hurling backwards into the wall on the opposite side of the cafeteria to you, it however seems undamaged as it ascends again.
Just to confirm:
Supergirl +8
Maelidek +7
Silver Disc +1
The disc unveils an array of weapons which open fire and the immense amount of gunfire chews up the walls, tables and chairs but bounces harmlessly off of Supergirl.

In a loud and commanding voice I say...
