AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Steinki fumbles around with the trumpet for a moment before comprehending what Durova and Lueck have to say. "Durova has the right of it, but we'd better be sure it is the globe that is responsible for the darkness." Steinki casts detect magic and scans the room to determine the source of any auras and what they suggest.

We've forged similar devices to aid the dwarves against the Mitrans. Throw it at a foe and they will be covered in a frigid coat of ice. They'll still be able to move, but the pain is exquisite."

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Steinki listens to Lueck through the ear trumpet, then nods and thrusts it into his Beltane arms himself with his battleaxe. He scans the way ahead, wary of traps and listening for sounds that might clue him in to what they must face.

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Steinki slowly walks down the line of slaves, glaring at each in order, then going back and speaking in dwarven with each. He has one interest. If he is going to spend time serving Asmodeus in the lands of man, he regretfully will need to learn their savage tongue. He seeks until he finds a slave he can command to teach him. When introduced to the White Ravens, Steinki quietly assesses each member, studying them to ascertain their commitment to the cause. Even were they a rock, his gaze might break them in twain.
Turning from the Raven, Steinki smiles slowly when he sees the silver and iron-chased black stone symbol spill from the bag. He bends and wraps thick fingers around it before setting it around his neck with a low laugh before accepting the iron circlet from Tiadora.

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 How about Gerald? Played Dolgrym in VoVs Zolurket. I'm also in a Red Hand of Doom game and a Curse of the Crimson Throne game with him and if Lucendar is dropping PbP for a while he'll be losing his Legacy of Fire and Savage Tide games (another one I'm with him in). Reliable poster and doesn't look like he's in a WoW game.

"I would see the Mitrans burn as well. While I am still not sure what to make of you surface dwellers, I am willing to ally with those who serve our Dark Lord. I would continue what I set out to do. You have my pledge Cardinal."

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Steinki grits his teeth as Ash goes down quickly. All those guards and a frog takes us down? Not this dwarf. He swings his battle axe again, this time attempting to split the frog's head in two, but he doesn't get the axe straight and it deflects off the creature's rubbery head.

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Grumbling in a deep voice about all of these surface dwellers and their failure to learn dwarven, Steinki steps forward with his axe. 5-foot step to K-19 He brings the axe around in an arc intended to lay into the frog just above its left leg, hesitating for only a moment to attempt to judge whether this creature has hostile intent. Unfortunately, the hesitation costs Steinki dearly as the creature has already twisted around his blow before the blade can land.

You're right that they'll be after us. I might be able to help obscure our tracks, but it won't help with the smell. Maybe we can trek through water in the swamp?"

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Bellowing a fierce growl and raising his axe up over his head, Steinki charges at the guard straight ahead of him. He feels the rush of night air and can feel the crunch of stone underfoot as he bares down on the guard. Crying an oath to Asmodeus, he brings the battle axe down in a blow intended to eviscerate the outnumbered lone remaining barrier to freedom. The blow is true, striking for the guard's breastbone with lethal intent, but at the last minute the man manages to raise his own weapon just enough to deflect the blow resulting in a shower of sparks that momentarily light up the battle on the bridge.

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Steinki let's out a low whistle upon seeing all of the gold. With the aid of the ear trumpet he comments, [b]"Think you were right Hugh to see if he wanted to serve The Lord of Darkness. Certainly was serving someone other than Mitra."[/ooc] Once the goods are secured, Steinki signals his interest in seeing to the last guard and getting off the island.

AC 15/11/14 HP 14/14, F+4 R+1 W+7, Init +5, Per +9 Steinki let's out a pleased exclamation as the warden finally drops dead. He shows little interest in the warden's clothes, more in the lab and magic though there is little enough he can make use of. Garret or Lueck for the potion? Hugh for the scrolls? I'm probably the best bet to drag along the lab if we want to take it.
