(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin scans the quite building for any sentries. "Wells it seems pretty quite. Dorran shall we take a closer look? I could probably sneak right up take a look though some windows if we can find them."

Stealth 8+12 = 20
Perception 3+5 = 8 (Sound 10)

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Just to let everyone know I am not trying to 'take charge' in the planning but out of the 5-6 Pbp's I have been in, planning is where they seem to stall and die. There seems to be a lot of 'should we do this or this' back and forth and it can really drag on. I am just trying to keep things moving :) If anyone has some idea's just jump in.

"We will make sure that we meet out of sight of the Fishery." Sorin heads out the door and starts walking down the street.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

"Ok that sounds good, Marra do you and Clandru want to fallow us as far as the Fishery perimeter and then go find a tavern or inn to finalize our plans?"

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

"Sounds good to me" Sorin pipes in as he starts toward the door. "I would say that Alistar might be a help but I wouldn't want him going near the place alone but it is up to you Pavo."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Yeah I say we scout the place out a little and see what we can see.

Sorin hopes down from the chair, "Does anyone have anything to pick up before we go take a look? Maybe after we scout it out we can go get some other things to help us out."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin watches Zellara with a big smile on his face and to an observer he probably resembles more a child than a halfling. Well we shall see if this is just a parlor trick or if there is anything to this. Sorin thinks as Zellara finishes the Harrowing. Sorin smiles at the women, "Thanks that was very entertaining, I hope it helps. Wells lets go deal with Lamm and get our vengeance..... or justice." Sorin finishes glancing at Clandru.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin climbs back into his chair with a smile on his face, "I am open to a little insight. Never done this before."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

"Lets all just go there together, we are all going to the same place and we can decide what to do there."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin jumps down from his seat, "All right now that we know where he is at lets get on with this. As long as you are done Zellara?"

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

"Fine we shale see what we can do about bringing him in, let just get on with this."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin give Marra a little node in return.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin looks up at Clandru, "I don't care either way but I would wait until you meet the man and see what he does to his unfortunates before you say such things. This man is a disease and must be eliminated."

Sorin turns back to Zellara and finishes under his breath, "The gnome will die by my hand no matter what."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin can barely restrain himself from rushing out the door to the Fishery but he can tell she probably isn't done talking with them.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin steps up in front of everyone so she can see him, "I am Sorin and I am interested in the information you have on Gaedren Lamm."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin turns to Clandru and Pavo, "It seems that the three of us have had the unfortunate opportunity to meet Gaedren Lamm but I get the impression that you two have not. What has he done to you two then?"

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorins eyes widen when Dorran walks through the door. "Dorran your alive....... Gaedren said you overdosed on shiver. I thought you were dead and gone." Sorin's head swims with the only descent memories he has. He stands up from the chair and walks over to his friend. As Sorin nears he throws a fist into Dorran's stomach. His fist hit's Dorrans armor, doing more damage to his small fist than the bigger man but it was the act more than that counts. "That was for selling me out all those years ago." He grabs Dorrans hand and shakes it. "It is good to see you, my friend."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Marrala the Lost wrote:
"Sori? SORI? is that you? The last day I saw you was when you fled from that pile of dung!"

Sorin looks at the young girl trying to place the face. "Ah Marrala, now I remember you, you have grown and you face looks a little....... different." Sorin grimaces at the last part. "I wouldn't say I fled, Gaedren tossed my body in an ally after that cowardly gnome newly killed me." Sorin takes a sip of his wine as memories flash though his head. He shaking his head as if to banish those memories and turns to Marrala, "How did you escape?" he asks as the door opens again. He watches the monkey leap to the table and his hand instinctively creeps towards one of his daggers. That thing looks to much like a choker for my comfort. Sorin thinks as he remembers the close call he had with a choker in the Shingles last month. Getting a hold of himself and forcing himself to relax he turns to the new comer. "welcome I gather you are not the person we are waiting for."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin grabs the basket and puts it on the table. He searches through the basket and grabs a piece of bread and looks at the bottle. "So what brings a man of Abadar to a place like this? I wouldn't think you would be into fortune telling."

Not bad wine, exceptionally since it is free. Gaedren wouldn't be this subtle if he wanted me dead. He probably doesn't even know I am alive. he thinks as he pours himself a glass, finds a seat on a nice cushioned chair and settles his gaze on the priest.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin glares at the priest but relaxes and drops his hand from his sword, "You might get have time to yell.... no I do not own this place." Sorin steps away from the table and points to the note. "I was summoned here to meet with the owner, I assume."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin wipes around his hand on his sword and slowly backs to the table.
"Who are you?" Sorin bluntly asks? "I am guessing you do not own this shop."

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin scans the street and shop, Nothing to alarming, although that girl seems familiar. Sorin walks up to the shop and stops at the door. Well I have waited to long to just stand here., he braces himself for trouble, opens the door and steps in.

I like it, should be interesting to have them meet again.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Sorin flips the card through his finger making it dance and disappear into a pocket as he stares over that choked waterway towards Midland. Rage and excitement race through his body, Finally a lead, even if it might be a trap it is something. Lamm doesn't have much longer to live, vengeance is near. Sorin thinks as he leaps off the barrel.

He jumps over a gap in the buildings catching a glimpse of the busy street fifty feet below. Grabbing onto a drain pipe he slides down and leaps to the street below starting towards the nearest bridge.

Will there be others? It doesn't matter I will do it myself if I have to, nothing will stop me now. Sorin darts through the crowd picking up the pace as he nears Lancet street. He rounds the block scans the street for the place and anyone that might be waiting, to ambush him or otherwise.

Spot Check: 13+5 = 18

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Dorran I added you into my background, read it and tell me what you think and it you want any changes or to even be in Sorins past.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

You could even go as far as making Pavo's sister Marra's love interest but that is up to the both of you.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Marrala the Lost wrote:

I have been going over the backgrounds of the characters, Dorran, Marra, and Sorin, all have overlapping timeframes with Gaedren Lamb.

Sorin your background said several years, so if you were there longer than 4 years, I can adjust the timeline.
Dorran (22)
Marra (16)
Sorin (18)

So our characters might actually remember each other...There was a 3-4 year period where we were running at the same time.

Sorin was about 12 when he left in my mind. I think it would be good it the characters at least remember each other. Maybe about the time Sorin was charted out for dead was when Marra decide to start protecting the others. Maybe Dorran in a drug induced state conflicted with one of the others or Sorin escaped with him once but the drug was too much and that is how Lamm found him in the Shingles. That sort of thing. I like the idea them at least recognizing each other. What is the time line on the missing sister would aleast Marra know her before she left?

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Wells since I get a +2 to Fly I will have to save up for a cloak of the bat or something.

Ready when ever you are.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Yeah after I read it more I agree I will keep it the way it is.

All fixed, I just switched Shingle Runner with Acrobatic.

Looks really good now, Dream. I just think you forgot to take Sorin's Climb skill back down to +6, after dropping Shingle Runner.

Make that one small fix, and he's ready to start. :)

Yeah I wasn't real sure about that because in the Acrobatic feat the description at the top says it improves, balance jumping and climbing and the the benefits section acrobatics and flying which didn't make much sense to me. It's your call but it makes more sense to impact Acrobatics and Climbing instead of Acrobatics and Fly.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

All fixed, I just switched Shingle Runner with Acrobatic.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

Updated my character, forgot my +1 AC for size

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

I think I am ready.

(Male Halfling Rogue 2)

I will build out Sorin tonight.
