Smedley joins you for a bite to eat before heading out "Lemme know if yuh need anything... be back inna week er two. Prolly just ride out with the patrol Restov sends yuh. Good luck to yuh" He wishes the Levetons well, and drives off.

Spoiler:
Oleg's is now fairly well supplied with adventuring goods and simple weapons. There is a chance he has more common martial weapons and other gear. If there is anything "exotic" you require, that Oleg does not have, you can put an order in with Smedley.

the front of the shed(B) is a short wall with bars above and a door with a lock. ... the stables front (right half of stables on map) is also a low wall but open above other than the support 4x4 beams for the roof. The walkway around the perimeter is about 8 feet high, the walls a little over 10, the watchtowers close to 20 feet high.

You rotate watch duty through a very quiet night. A few chirping crickets calling out... too early in the season for the whole orchestra of insects.
The sun starts to rise during Rogar's shift. He can hear Smedley stirring, who slides out the back of his wagon and gets to work getting his horses ready.

He calls out to Rogar- loud enough to wake any nearby light sleepers "Oi! I put yer supplies from Restov in here." points to some crates and baskets along the low wall of the stables.

Just as Smedley said...a couple hours ofter nightfall, you see a faint warm light leaking out from what appears to be a wooden fort up ahead. You soon see it more clearly as you approach - there is little to block your view. There are very few trees around but as you come nearer you see the gentle slope of the ground to the south of the road; a view of a dark mass of forest is visible in the moonlight, a few miles from where you are. Wisps of fog cling to the treeline like cobwebs of an abandoned home.
The road you are on, South Rostland Road, appears to make a hard right angle up ahead... forming a "V" pointing directly south, with Oleg's Trading Post nested at the bottom.
Smedley simply says,"Oleg's...." as you pull closer.

The sun goes down and the three-quarter moon starts to appear through the breaking clouds. The world turns shades of dark and faded blue in the dim moonlight.... The conversation comes and goes... most of the time, the rhythmic clopping of the horses - and the grinds and chirps of the wagon wheels are the only sounds that come from the group.
There is little in the way of sounds of wildlife, not understandably so, it has not been long since the snows have melted. The ground is still hard... in fact is seems harder here than further north.

Smedley loads the carcasses into the covered wagon he has been driving, and covers them with a tarp. He looks at the position of the sun.. a few hours past noon "Making fair time... be there in time fer a late supper." He then climbs back into the driver's seat and you start out again.
Ta'de-win and Norton continue their rotating patrols and learn a little about the group through brief conversations. A slight drizzle starts to fall which gradually turns to into a very light fog as the sun starts to go down.

The entangled canine attacking Rogar starts to go into a wild frenzy. After judging the "length of leash" from the gripping vines, Rogar is able to provide a clean death. The vines from Ta'de-win's spell draw the now limp animal in, as if claiming the body.
After a sword slash and Murak's stomp miss the remaining canine; Murak goes for the scruff of the neck, pulling it off the ground enough for Alice to tear into its vitals.
Once it is clear there is no longer any danger, Smedley hops down from the wagon "Dem der brush dogs.... yuh want em? Oleg'll toss sum coin for hide... not so much for dem brush dogs..."

You travel for a few hours, the farmlands on your right, the desolate unnatural border of the Stolen Lands to your left. As you continue the farms fade further from the road, until they disappear completely.
The landscape of the plains here contains several small copses of trees. Dozens of species of grasses fight for their turf, the dead left in clumps all around. The tall grasses seem to prevail in most areas more than ten feet from the road. This makes the ground a little uneven when flanking the wagons, but by no means difficult to maneuver for Murak and Heart of Wind.

I would also like perception checks for next time they are needed on the road... if there is something you wanted from town and didn't have a chance to tell me, let me know as soon as possible
You meet up with Norton and Ta'de-win heading west-northwest out of Restov. Smedley stops a couple times to take orders from two of the larger homesteads a few miles from town, and then you are able to settle into a easy pace. "Straight shot der, here on out"
Norton and Ta'de-win work out a rotating patrolling escort, and Smedley "zones out", staring blankly at the road ahead.

"There's food at Oleg's... plenty tuh hunt if yuh don't like Svetlana's cookin'... I'll be 'round ever week er two if yuh need sumpthin from Restov or New Stetven." He looks at the sky " Will be pert' near a ten to twelve hour ride. Be there few hours after dark. "

Spoiler:
If you would like to post a coordinate on the map to give me an idea where everyone's default spot for the ride there will be ... just in case... the covered wagon with Smedley driving is yours, the driver bench is a little cramped for two but he can scoot over.
The wagon driven by Alice is Smedley's... there is a tarp, rolled up on the side that he rolls over his goods when it rains but at the moment there is no sign of rain. ride to Oleg's

Smedley takes over the reins and gives Alice a quick lesson while the rest of the group finds suitable places to sit. "Dem horses made this trip hunnerd times." He says reassuringly again, once he feels Alice has the hang of it.
no roll necessary holding the reins on Smedley's horses, as long as Smedley leads the way on your wagon, someone is holding the reins, and you don't experience any unexpected hazards

"This the lot of yuh then? Hop in! I'll give yuh a ride to the stables if yuh got horses... uh I do hope one yuh can drive a wagon? " He looks around "Well if not ...one yuh get over here and take over Elray and Vera, they know the way ... weuh'll just hope we don't run inna any reason to H'ya dem horses." Smedley hops down to take over the reins of your wagon.

the parchment is the charter
You hear a voice outside through the open door "Oi! Oi! We still goin? I need to get this stuff to Oleg." A chubby little man stands beside one of the wagons with on leg up, gripping the handle to pull himself up.. "Oh good day Mr Chowder!"
