Skid grimaces. "Hardly fun, miss. Not unless you enjoy being forced to listen to a child who apparently wishes to be a doom sayer when he grows up. A small child, at that." He moves five feet away from the angry 'child'
He glances at a white cat with blue eyes, who seems nervous and is mewing, afraid for his friend.
"Not to worry, Hat. I'm right here, talking to these fine folks." He bends down and pets the cat.

As for you, thief, though I cannot tell whether you are a gnome or a fellow halfling, I think that telling someone that they will regret something is a statement I would leave to the doom sayers."
