It is intriguing that you have focused on the inquisitor as a potential problem rather than the NE literal monster race

There are many campaigns and areas (in golarion at least) where a Gnoll simply will not be tolerated with out a lot of extreme bending by you as the GM. For starters the two urban games you mentioned - straight out the window. No one wants to live down the street from a Gnoll known for his poleaxe

What is the thought process behind this character?

So, the character isn't actually a gnoll, but gnoll is the closest in-game race for explanation. The player wanted to be a warhammer Skaven, which I'm willing to work in. The inquisitor is based somewhat on warhammer as well. The idea is that the two had a bit of an altercation, but the skaven does not wish to be part of the tribe anymore and the two are using each other to further their skills in battle.

So, even though the monstrous race is definitely not going to be the best solo operative, they will be accompanied by an inquisitor with pretty high charisma. The buy-in to the campaign not that he had a reason to attend himself, but that the inquisitor did.

There are some back-story elements between the two that made me want a campaign that keeps them, fairly close to somewhere. The campaigns that travel, or rather open with traveling somewhere unexplored or abandoned seem like it would take away from that.

Hey guys. I'm looking into starting a campaign for a few friends. They have a few ideas for characters they want to play and I'm trying to find a good, large module to settle them in, since I'm not totally competent in creating my own world.

I'm looking for a campaign that starts at 1 and goes up pretty high like an adventure path.
The characters that they really want to play are, fairly unique. The main character is going to be an inquisitor, based loosely Victor Saltzpyre. The second is going to be a neutral-evil, poleaxe using gnoll-like fighter. The two are, while conflicting in ideals, using the comradery of each other for selfish benefits, both likely to take betrayal teamwork feats.

I've been browsing over Paizo adventure paths, and I'm kind of liking a few but nothing is really standing out to me as appropriate to the inquisitor as I'd like.
So far the ones that I remotely feel are appropriate are Second Darkness, Carrion Crown, Hell's Rebels, Council of thieves, and to some extent, Legacy of Fire.

The ones that stands out the most to me so far Carrion crown and second darkness.

I think Carrion crown may be a good fit, but I'm kind of curious about recommendations from anyone more experienced than myself.

Could you make one made to be printed blank? I really don't want to go into the PNG and edit out ALL the grey text in the fields to be above/below it.

For option one, you can take the boon companion feat to be able to ride your wolf companion at 7.

Option two really isnt an option. A wolfhound, which is third party and not allowed in most games but assume you had it approved, is not on the rangers list of ACs and would not be advanced by your ranger levels. You can still ride it, but it would remain a 2hd creature and become incredibly fragile. Classes only stack for animal companions if the companion is on both lists.

Just a note, you can skin your wolf companions to be a worg, it just has the same stats as a wolf companion. There is no dire wolf companion, again it would just be a reskinned wolf.

That is a nifty feat. I really do need to verse myself better in those. But there's so many.

Yes it can be 'reskinned', with the stats of a regular wolf but personality of a worg, but the GM that I would like to do this with is a newbie and I'd like to be as 100% on the rules without any GM allowances as possible.

I guess I really hadn't thought #2 through very well.

Worg is an option for Leadership, if I recall correctly.

Yes, it is, but how does this tie in with mounts/animal companions?

Hello guys, I made an account here just to post this question.

A friend of mine may be doing a pathfinder game soon, and I rather enjoy the idea of making an orc ranger who rides a wolf.

However, this seems like a very annoying thing to get to, especially since I'd prefer a worg (They're a pretty big improvement and just way cooler than wolves.) My original plan was to simply have a wolf and take Beast Rider, only to find out that beast rider doesn't help me out in this situation, except in the scenario I'll bring up later.

However, while Orc Worgriders exist it seems as though you can never as a PC orc ride a worg even with Monstrous Mounts, as they're a medium companion made for goblins and other small races.

So, first off, is it possible to get a worg as a mount, as an orc ranger?
I'm fairly certain it's not, despite there being orc worg riders. Sad.

So, next, since that's probably impossible, is what is the best way to ride a wolf? From what I've gathered there's two ways:

One: Go ranger up until level 8, somewhere along the line take the "beast rider" feat, "treat your effective druid level as if it were two levels higher" thus making your wolf level 7 and becoming Large.

Two: Take a level in Cavalier and select a Wolfhound mount.

Are there any easier ways? A friend of mine insists I can get a Dire Wolf in place of a regular one, but I see nothing stating that that is a choice.

I'd love to know your thoughts on this matter, and I might be completely bonkers and 100% wrong on everything I've said, I'm still a bit of a newbie. Thanks for reading.

Edit:I've derped up on my way #1, Beast rider only applies to the selected creature type (The dinosaurs), so that bit is pretty much negated.
