3. HP 13

Smite Good:

Once per day, an antipaladin can call out to the dark powers to crush the forces of good. As a swift action, the antipaladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is good, the antipaladin adds his Charisma bonus (if any) on his attack rolls and adds his antipaladin level on all damage rolls made against the target of his smite. If the target of smite good is an outsider with the good subtype, a good-aligned dragon, or a good creature with levels of cleric or paladin, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the antipaladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite good attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.

In addition, while smite good is in effect, the antipaladin gains a deflection bonus equal to his Charisma modifier (if any) to his AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the antipaladin targets a creature that is not good, the smite is wasted with no effect.

The smite good effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the antipaladin rests and regains his uses of this ability. At 4th level, and at every three levels thereafter, the antipaladin may smite good one additional time per day, as indicated on Table: Antipaladin, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.

Basic backstory:

Kodan wanted to be a knight for as long as he can remember. The shinning armor, the emblazoned shield, and mighty arms. It was in Kodan's blood, as his Father was a knigth and his father before him, and it seemed destined for Kodan to take up the knighthood.
Fate, or darker powers, had other plans. Evidence was found that Kodan's Father was conspiring with Talingarde's enemies. He was convicted of high treason and brought to justice by Sir Balin of Karfeld. Kodan never forgot Balin's last words to his father.

“Mitra may forgive you yet for your lies. Talingarde will not.” If only you could get a chance at revenge!

Kodan has harbored vengeance since that day. Each nignt he prayed for a chance to avenge his father; vengeance against the Knights, vengeance against the Royal Family, and vengeance against Sir Balin or Karfeld. In secret he learned the way of the sword, while building connections with those hidden enemies of Talingarde. It was through these contacts that he first learned of the other gods, and Asmodeus. The promise of a new Order and the downfall of Sir Balin, Kodan eagerly joined their ranks.

Part of a group sent to desecrate a temple of Mitra, Kodan was captured in the act and found guilty of Heresy. As he sits in Branderscar Prison, he sulks in hsi cell. Not becasue of his impending burning, but because his quest for vengeance is over. He prays to Asmodeus for one last chance to avenge his father.

Personality:

I see him as very determined and focused. He has taken to his new faith, having lost all faith and trust in Mitra and Talingarde. He sees the current order as unfair and beleives a new order is needed.
He has been through enough to have little fear, and a strong preasence in combat.

6. Favorite Villain from real life or fiction; and why?

Raistlin, dragonlance. You really see the things that push him to where he ends up. The slide from good, to neutral, to evil. The quest for power and control. Oh, and his twisted sense of humor
