Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Thanks for the invite but I'm going to have to pass for right now. I just found out were I left off and it looks like I have a lot of reading left to do. Plus with me starting up my own Pbp I don't want to stretch myself to thin. Thanks again though, I'll keep plugging away at the back log of post and maybe someday I'll jump back in.

Casmir! I'm very glad to hear your good news as well! Greetings all I'm back with more time so I'm getting involved in PBPs some more. I'll try and get caught up on all of your adventures since Edric's passing. Alexander, I'm going to be starting a PFS PBP soon and the first invites got to people who have GMed in the past. Most likely it will be teir 1-2, are you interested? Once I've heard back from all my GM's I'll open it up to people who have played with me.

I "saw" the fight Edric really did well. As far as his curtain call I would have liked if he died in an epic battle but having him called home would most likely be the quickest way to deal with the problem. Oh and just thought I would point out that you didn't add the extra damage to Edric's attacks during his fight with Gabbles :)
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Looks like I might have to. I wanted to give this one a few days to see if I can pull it off but with this being such a active game I really don't think I can keep up. Thanks everyone for such a great game. As I posted in the other threads I'll be one the boards when I can and checking up on the games so if for some reason things change maybe I can jump back in.

By any chance did the death of the mite remove my shaken condition? Please...

With the arrival of the monstrous creature, bursting from the tunnel and savaging Casimir Edric looses all semblance of calm and begins hacking wildly at the centipede in front of him trying to clear a path out of the tunnel.

Edric covers his face with his sheild as Yelena's fire comsumes the mites. He is about to give a greatful cheer but falls shorts as the dead are quickly replaced. Desperatly trying to regroup with his companions the Knight slashes at one of the mites as he steps to stand beside Casimir.

Dropping his crossbow Edric curses as the mites swarm around him. Akwardly he draws his long sword and slashes at the mite to his right.

Long post just got deleted so here is the short version:
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Still a little suspicious of Yelena, Edric is hesitant to accepts her help in navigating the hills and valleys of the land they are exploring, but s as the day passes he is glad to have her help as his other companions seem lost in thought and he begins to warm up to his new found cousin. Yelena taking Vaysh's spot on the watch works for me. Also I will be updating Edric's sheet with his new armor and gold this weekend since I do not think I'll have time until then.

Seeing Kresten head north towards Restov Edric feels a great burden lift from his shoulders. While the rest of party is making preperations to leave Edric takes his time tending to Talia. Once saddled up he joins the rest of the Guardians at the front gate. Giving his newest traveling companion another quizzical look. Shall we be off?
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
My protection? Edric give the slight figured woman a quizzical eye, I see... Well this news you bring me is a little late. Two days ago my companions and I were attacked by a men under the command of House Vilsinsky, and among them was a Knight of Surtova so you can guess who has been behind this deception.
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Edric's eyes narrow at the strange woman clamming to be his "cousin". I apologize for my rudeness Yelena but as my companions have stated these are dangerous times and your arrival with that ring has put us all on the defensive. If Kresten vouches for you though, for the most part, my concerns are abated. Please enter Yelena, what news do you bring from my... our family?
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Edric watches his friends closely as the women approaches. Seeing Malthir relax a little, after what Edric assumed was the Paladin using his divine magic to discern the moral leaning of this strange woman, he begins to cautiously approach the new arrival. He is about to speak when Casimir appears on the scene and the word teifling stops the Knight dead in his tracks. Reaching for his longsword Edric calls out to the "devil blooded" women. I am Sir Edric Orlavsky, of the noble House Orlavsky, Gaurdian of Greenbelt and Knight of Eagle Watch. Where did you come by that ring?
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Once the prisoners and horses are taken care of Edric seeks an audience with Kesten.
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Edric spends his time at the temple doing what he can to restore the structure and as dusk sets him he kneels by the blessed pool and offers up an akward prayer to Old Dead-eye. Rejoining the group around the fire he settles down with a smile on his face. Edric is one of the first up the next morning and quickly helps the Guardians prepare for the journy back to the traiding post. Though anxious to leave he does take the time to offer another prayer before setting our.

After the battle: In regurds to the prisoners- These men we carrying out a mission for good their House as such this attack and betrayal must be dealt with very carefully. As Vaysh makes note of these men are clearly not brigands and as such I do not believe they fall within the realm of our charter. We must take the squires back to the Trading post and find some way of transporting them to Brevoy. The Knight then lowers his head and speaks in a soft embarrassed tone I would like to thank all of you for defending me this day. I apologies that I have been distant especial when I received the letter from the other day. What the squire says is true the letter, forged to seem to be from my Uncle, Lord of the House Orlavsky. It asked me to abandon my mission here in the Greenbelt and return home. It said that the Swordlords were pawns of House Surtova, that my mission here was aiding the enemy… I was torn with what to do. Torn between my House and The Guardians. In the end I wrote to what I thought was my Uncle, I told him that I had given Sworn my sword to ridding the area of the Bandits and I couldn’t in good conscious break that oath. I saw the good we the Guardians were doing in this land and I could not abandon you and our quest. I apologies to not sharing this with you, the letter filled me with questions and I was not sure who I could trust. I was a fool, I have spilt my blood with you, my friends and I proudly will stand with you as protectors of this land. Although anxious to return to Oleg's and send a message north to his Uncle, Edric agrees to finish exploring the region before heading back to the trading post. Before leaving the Battle field Edic does his best to give the fallen proper burial. If there is a spare horse the Knight would like to bring the bodies of the two knights along with the prisoners.

Quick post now more at lunch
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
Seeing the wolves attacking the fallen squire Edric dismounts Talia and rushes to the man's side pulling the wolf away if neccessary. Finding the man barly clinging to life Edric makes a desperate attempt to staunch the bleeding. Fenna, Casimir we must heal this man.
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
As Sir Vislinsky's body slides off Edric's Lance the Knight surveys the field of battle. So involved in looking for a chance to re-enter the fray he is startled by the feel of Fenna's hand and the warm surge of magic that curses through him healing some of his wounds. Edric turns to the small women and gives her a warm smile.

Malthir's words seem to snap Edric out of his confused state,
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
As the questions and demands fly around Edric the Knight grows pail and noticibly starts to tremble. More than once it seems as if he will speak, sometimes to the riders from Brevoy other time to his companions but never does he build up the nerve to do so. As Sir Vislinsky begins to faultier under the watchful eyes and sharp tongues of his fellow Guardians, Edric's eyes narrow and the grip on his lance tightens.
Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) 1
The appearance of representatives of his house, this deep into the Greenbelt, seems to have shaken the Knight but only briefly. Straighten himself in his saddle and raising his lance into the air in salute, Edric spurs Talia forward.

DM Alexander Kilcoyne wrote: Edric have you finished with the hectic moving yet? :) For the most part. Still setteling into the new appartment and job and schedule but things are a lot better than they were. Evenings and weekends are a little more hectic than before so I wont be able to post as often then but I should be able to keep up with everyting during the week while I'm at work... As long as things don't get too busy. As far as the game I've been having a lot of fun and think the game is going great, really enjoying your twists to Kingmaker. Realing hoping to become more involved with the RP and fleshing out Edric. Speaking of which I'm still working on Edric's letter home hope to have it up this week sometime.
