Silas Vincent is a famous traveling magician who's no stranger to many places Golarion. During his youth, he was amazed by the skill of his magician cousin, who would telepathically bend and turn water with his mind. And by his brother, who would conjure up all matter of animals with a flick of his hand. Silas wondered why magic escaped him. He'd done anything he could to learn it, including spending several years reading books and studying the arcane, but could never grasp it, and this frustrated him. A youth surrounded by magic with nothing to show for it?

Silas donned a deep purple robe with a built-in pocket containing a dozen wands. He became skilled at pretending he was casting a spell, when really, he was using the innate magical energy within the wands themselves. He'd employ sleight of hand to create bright lights in the palm of his hand, summon monsters before his crowds very eyes, and even heal wounds. His family embraced him after finally showing his magical prowess, though his brother never really believed him - the chest full of wands found in his room just made it all too obvious.
