Scenario Item: Debt of the Kirin - You possess a series of letters of credit and a trade agreement between any holder of that agreement and a group called the Way of the Kirin.
Standing just shy of six feet and a slender 150 pounds Shylin possesses an appetite that gives credence to her Elven heritage. Her dark hair is worn pulled back in a loose pony tail, tied with a strip of leather. Dark, almond shaped eyes and perpetually tanned skin give away her human ancestry. A quick wit and infectious smile mask the workings of a sharp mind and even sharper senses.
Quick to laugh, and even quicker to slip quietly into the shadows, she is truly a mirror image of the twin she hopes to find.
Always the same.. same looks, same desires, same laugh. That's what it's like being a twin. Inseparable, yet different. Perhaps, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
We used to drive our parents crazy with the pranks we pulled. Mother, an Elf in her elegant robes watching our every move somehow as she emerged from the shadows nearby. Father, a Kelish-Varasian scout, the smell of leather hugs when he'd return from a caravan. We both wanted to be just like them, and in some respects, we shared their skills.
My 'little' sister, Shisa, went off to find adventure while I became betrothed. (Yes, she's my 'little' sister. After all, I was born first.) It was a short marriage. Cut short by a raider's arrow. Now I'm trying to find her. To walk in her steps and once again be whole in family.
I tracked her down to Cheliax. Seen her running toward a ship. I followed and would have caught her had some damn dock hand not hit me along side the head. I guess he figured to cash in on a lone half-elf at one of these cursed Chelaxian slave blocks. He says I'd bring good coin. I didn't intend to find out.. left him lying in the alley with his own knife sticking out of his guts.
Had to leave Cheliax rather abruptly as a result, my search suspended for now. So.. here I am sitting in Absolom in some grand lodge. I figured the Society may be my ticket to finding my sister. If not.. well, perhaps the coin will at least be worth while.
