Background
Nym was born as the second child of four to a poor family who found a place to live in the Warrens of Ptolus. Being the only son, he had a very good relationship with his father and loved his mother and sisters dearly. Father showed him everything he needed to know as a boy growing up in the slums and mother always told him stories of Saints of times past. He played away hours, days and weeks pretending to be one of those Saints and always secretley adored the Knights of the Pale.
But when his father got murdered by one of the Pale Dogs (or so his mother told him), Nym went quiet. Unfortunately, he got persuaded to join a small street gang, and startet to rob people in order to finance his gang and in the end getting food for his family. What Nym didn't know was, that his gang was part of the Pale Dogs, and when he realized this fact, he quit, and now tries to get along alone, always living in fear that Jirrath and the Pale Dogs will come once again after his family.
Therefore he tries to earn money, even if he needs to become a Delver, to get his family to saftey in another, saver quarter of the city. And if fate is good to him, he might even become a Knight of the Pale himself one day...
