I have also pre-ordered and I have not asked for a refund, is there a way to verify that I am still on the list. I am worried with the way it was stated that the records may not be all there. Hi there - sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. I've been busy

hooking up some more conventions for Iron GM and helping my brother Shirak get his kickstarter off the ground.

Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Regarding putting out the book without art -- if something happens, and Nick can't get his artists to find and resend the print-ready art, I'll talk to him about this. No promises, but its certainly an option. Am I saying RC is coming out? No.
However, the outpouring of support from the community has been overwhelming. There are offers of free art, free cartography, free (award-winning) layout and even an uber-generous cash gift to offset some of my expenses in sorting through things. You people are amazing, and I'm proud to be part of this community. Very proud.
I'm taking all this into consideration and working hard to do what can be done to get you folks the product you deserve. Am I committing to publishing RC now? No.
I just don't want to promise anything I can't 100% deliver. I'm sure anyone who has been following this saga understands why.
Let me get people's money back -- or at least have that process kicked off and in train -- and then I'll assess where everything is at and report back. Probably put up a website to chat about things, so I don't keep clogging Paizo's airwaves.
2. z28camaro90, if you (or anyone else) wants to confirm they are on the list, but is still deciding about whether you want your money back or not, then Dark Sasha had it write -- just email your request to bgmcubed@gmail.com, and we'll respond with answers (or refunds) in the order queries are received.
Thanks again, everyone. Paizoans are just the best.
PS Anyone figure out what bgmcubed means? :)

Healbots are not necessary.

How many of the players have ever been a GM?
I think once you've done that, you have a greater appreciation for the work put in to make a good game.
Another thing you notice more as a GM, is the amount of time wasted each session.
As a player, you aren't on the spot throughout the whole session. You have moments where it's not your turn, and you can zone out, start a side conversation, while another player deals with his actions.
When a player gets called back to the action, they don't consider any time to have been wasted. But the GM does, because he knows he's had to call their name three times, had to answer a string of what seem like stupid questions about the current situation, which he wouldn't have to answer if the player had been listening.
As far as the player is concerned, they've been totally concentrating all the time. They haven't been concentrating on what's happening in the game, but they've concentrated on their friend's new app, they've concentrated on the discussion of last night's TV, they've concentrated on swapping the recipe for these dips, they've concentrated on that story about the other gaming group in town, they've concentrated on the tour dates for that band they like....
"What do you mean, I've not been listening? I'm sat right here! You just don't describe stuff properly."
BigDTBone wrote: Any chance of seeing a Pathfinderized revamp of the Force Missile Mage from Dragon 328? Pretty much no chance at all, for 2 reasons:
1) That prestige class, along with almost everything in Dragon Magazine, is not open content. We can't use it or update it. We could do something SIMILAR, but...
2) The prestige classes in this book were designed by the thought process of "What group/religion/organization/whatever in Golarion needs a prestige class," not "What spell effect/class combo/feat combo/whatever needs a prestige class." There MIGHT be a class in this book that excels at force effects... but it'd be a coincidence and would surprise me since none of the 30 prestige classes I concepted and ordered for the book really had that as part of their marching orders for the authors to create.

This has been posted in several low-magic threads.

Yeah, leave that group and be thankful you'll never have to deal with him again.
