Bot Me:

  • Serge is a front-liner and will not allow harm to come to his allies. Use his greatsword for anything that doesn't look undead, using his earthbreaker for those. Use Power Attack liberally.
  • If the battle seems to be going roughly, Smite Evil.
  • If Serge falls below 30 hp, use Lay on Hands on himself as a swift action.

    Cause and motivation
    Follower of Ragathiel, Serge wishes to enact his vengeance for his cousin Brayden. Brayden was struck down in the Crypt of the Everflame. After word traveled to Magnimar that his cousin had been lost at the hands of a demon, Serge set out to join the Pathfinder Society as a way of giving back and following in his cousin's footsteps.

    30 Second Life Story
    Serge grew up with several brothers and sisters to a loving home in Varisia. His parents were poverty stricken, having to live off meager portions of scraps and coin provided to them in their thralldom until the family overthrew their master. Serge's father paid the ultimate price in this battle, sacrificing himself to finish off the slaver.

    During his thralldom, Serge became fast friends with an imp. The imp would spend days showing him magical tricks and tools. With time, Serge learned how magic's many mysteries work, and although he never sought to learn how to use it himself, he did have a knack for it.

    Years past, Serge grew up, and he took interest in the empyreal lord, Ragathiel. His ideals and accolades were something to be looked up to, and while most other paladins prayed to Iomaedae, Serge felt a longing for something more.

    Personality
    Serge is typically negative and gloomy. He was never able to shake his cousin's demise, and he feels his death is coming at any moment.

    Despite this, he defends his companions ardently. To Serge, his sacrifice is something he's eager to give as he consistently feels as if he's just five minutes away from death.

    Lately, Serge has renewed vigor and interest in life. His drinking problems have subsided, and although he still adamantly seeks vengeance for his cousin's death, he does not see the passage through life as meaningless and treacherous. With success after success while serving the Pathfinder Society, Serge felt that perhaps life wasn't as empty as he had originally thought.
