Seram makes his way to the common, and pulls a seat waiting for the others. He sits tapping his finger on the table impatiently.

As evening goes on, Seram retires to his room. He lays, relaxed as can be on his bed, arms tucked behind his head.

Sounds fine

"Men not strong enough to stand again magic deserve that fate. A true warrior not only uses his 'own' power, but could easily shrug off and kill the offending user."

"Could there be some deity of evil that could influence the weather and aquatics? I know of none but I am sure that Seram would take much pleasure in defeating such an entity.

"If there was such a thing...A thing of unheard of strength and power...I would be the first...The only person to fight it." The thought of fighting such an person brings another toothy, almost feral grin to his face.

"You all worry too much. Scared of rites an' ceremonies. What really can a weakling her, all magic users really, do. There's nothing in this world that a strong arm and a good blade won't fix"

Alternatively, Seram or It could just gently test the door which would open most things.

By gentle you mean, "knock off the hinges" right? ;)

Akahale beat me to it

"If you're that interested I'll tag along. How knows, they may something worth my time."

"Good food and drink, fun does not always make."

"I've had a revelation", the barbarian interupts. "This town is boring as hell, but has the food and drink I've had in some time", with that he rips into a piece of steaming meat.

The rain soaked barbarin reenters the inn, followed by the holy man and warlock. Seram takes a seat and waits for the server. "Drinks and food", he says with a toothy grin.

"The ale was good. I was surprised it hadn't been watered down."

Akahale drops 10sp into the collection box (all churches have them) on his way out.

Once the noise of the wind can mask his remarks to anyone who be listening, he turns to Rowan and Seram.

"Mother Sharallan may be preparing for a ceremony, but I will wager it is not in the church. There is a hinged pew at the back. I suspect there is an underground vault that would bear investigation. We should tell the others and come later tonight to explore further."

He shivers suddenly. The weather outside is in marked and horrible contrast to the comparative warmth of the church and the prospect of returning to the Smooth Sailing seems really appealing.

"Food do you think?"

As an afterthought he adds, "Seram, did you walk up the beach? Do you think it is a likely spot for shrimping when the weather clears? I wish to frolic in the surf."

"Food, sounds good to me", he looks at dragonborn. "Don't you think you're being paranoid about the church. In any case what can a few prayers do anyway."

"Shrimping, huh. Perhaps after the storm and waves have died. Probably have a chance near the cliff facing. I would think shrimp would like hiding in the rocky surface.

"Good and law...God's grace", the massive man snickers.

After the group in lead out of the church, "What a boring place. You sure get sent on the worst missions, Gilbrid."

Seram casts a toothy smile as a bolt of lightning rips through the air. "Only thing to do now is have another round of drinks and sleep"

"Someone descerated a shrine to Melora in that grove back there, thought we'd see if anyone in there may have some answers," Rowan replies matter of factly wondering what they'll find in the church.

"And you?" Rowan asks.

"Melora? What care is it of us that some shrine was descerated." Seram says uncaringly.

"As for me...I'm looking for some fun"

Seram follows the young dragonborn into the peaceful building.

Looking at the holy man and the dragonborn. "What brings you two out here", Seram asks, but really not caring for thier answer.

Heading north (area 11) from area 9.

Having checked the docks and southern part of town, Seram heads north. "Surely there's atleast one entertaining person in this place".

Roaming the rain soaked streets, a scowl starts to creep the large man's face. During his time walking all he's seen are scrawny, old fishermen. Small children splashing in pools of water. The occasional woman walking the streets.

"Is this really all this town has to offer. Pups and the elderly."

Nope just roaming the streets

Not seeing the priest or the warlock, Seram walk the streets. "More of a chance to cut loose without them around anyway"

Bored and restless, Seram takes his leave. Perhaps he'll find some fun out in the rain soaked streets.

He lays a gold piece by his mug, as he goes.

"Another", he says as he places the mug on the table. Seram silenly scans the room for anyone worthy enough to fight. He finds the task hard though. Between the blasted wizards ramblings, and dropping of marbles. Too his 'comrades' persistant chatter; Makes the mater of picking up anything a challenge.

Perception 1d20+10=16;Insight 1d20+5=23; Scanning the room to see if anyone stands out as a strong fighter. And observing body language to see if anyone may be trying to hide their talent at using a weapon.

Seram makes his way into the establishment. He galnces around and makes for the first available table. "Ale", he says at the first passing server.

"Spar" In the blink of an eye, Seram's blade is at the dragonborn. The only thing saving Grafire from the blade is his axe.

"Do really think I need to spar. Do I look like a pup who needs to be trained?" The eyes of his companions and the townfolk fall on the event. "Why wait let's have our fight here. There's plenty of people around, and I'm sure they'll enjoy what they see."

"So what ya say...want have a bit of 'fun' while we're here", Seram puts his blade away as quickly as he released it. "Not worth my time. The fight wouldn't last long enough to be fun anyway. Plus I would get scoulded if I hurt ya."

Seram casts a wild eyed look towards Grafire, "Perhaps tomorrow, or whenever or job here is done."

With that he continues on toward the inn.

"Accommodations can wait...I need a drink," he turns a toothy grin at the small dragonborn.

"Plus with night approaching and having been traveling I feel like relaxing." Seram clentches his fists, making his bones pop. With that he starts into town.

Seram continues toward the town. Perhaps he could find himself some warm ale, or perhaps someone worthy to fight. Either way he'd be happy.

Seram walks quietly with the group. Wondering if anyone worth his time is in Ashenport. The last few months had been dull for the barbarian. During his time in Drachenholme he hadn't found one person worthy, or brave enough to fight.

He turns his attention to the large metal man. This is who he wanted fight now. But everytime he tried the wizard or one of his other companions would interfere. The idea of fighting such a strong oppenent send tingles down his spine.

"So how long is this little trip gonna take," finally breaking his silence.

Alright got everything that needed to fixed. Ready when yall are.

So here's our barbarian friend. I used the DMG(pg. 143) to find starting items/gold. Should have the background done later.
