Well I did this once before for help with a code of Sarenrae, so figured I would reach out to the masses to see what help I can get for this one.

Here is what I have so far....

1. Aggressively seek out the enemies of humanity. We must seek out and take the war to Demons, Devils, Evil Dragons and Undead.
2. My word is my honor, and my honor is my life. If I make a promise I will carry it out even if it means my death.
3. Until I am in a position of authority or rulership, then I am just the arm of justice not the executioner. Should one ask for mercy I will grant it to them, but they must still answer for any crimes.

4. Valor dictates we must attack an enemy without hesitation, Whenever possible we should seek out the most formidable enemy as our primary opponent. We should seek to engage our opponent face to face (not with missile combat), continuing to fight until the enemy withdraws or is defeated.
5. Can't ever use poison of any kind! For this cheapens the victory as well as the soul of the person using it.
6. If we should need to leave the field, I shall be the last one on it, making sure my friends, companions, or wards are all safe before I am.

7.Must set an example to the common folk, but especially children, both in appearance and attitude. (10% of income must be spent on appearance of self + gear)
8. May only own two magical weapons,(one being a sword) one suit of armor, and one shield. Extra are turned into the church to be used instead in the various crusades instead of wasted.
9.

10. A paladin must respect the laws of the land he/she knows are just (fair and good). Whenever in doubt, especially when travelling abroad, it is the spirit of the Law that must be followed, if ever the letter is corrupted or unknown.

I'm having problems getting that last one filled in. I'm thinking something along the lines of her protection of women, and courtly love, but just can't seem to find the words.

Well we had ourselves a nice water adventure that didn't go so good for the PC's. They were not at all happy about the drowning rules and how once you hit 0 hp the next round you are essentially dead.

So I proposed the following change.

You get your Con divided by 4 extra rounds before you are truly drowned. For example a person with a Con of 18 is knocked out under water, he has 4 more rounds before death. While an 8 Con would get two more rounds.

Too little? Too much? Anyone else have any alternate rules they have used?

My players would love to see a Companion Expanded line...they love some of the options that have shown up in the Races books, but there just isn't enough "love" for them to run with it. For example in the Elves book you have a section on "magical" food items that can be created with cooking and alchemy, but with nothing else coming along those lines they are not keen on expanding their character that way since there is limited number of items listed.

I understand that I or they can create additional items, it just seems my group dynamice doesn't give us the time to do those things.

Just a thought.

So, does a cleric need a component pouch to cast a domain spell that requires a material component?(Fireball) Or does that change to a Divne, or Divine Focus component?

So first here is a description of the Aid another action

So my group is split on how to handle this. Some want a limit, others are fine with it as is....at least until I start smacking them around with it with tougher creatures ;)

Bad guy is in the middle with a PC on the right and left. Each provides the other flank, and one of them decides to aid another for an additional +2 for a total of +4 to hit, or a +2 to hit and +2 to AC.

Now we can continue to take this to crazy levels by adding additional monsters and even further by adding monsters with reach.

Example: I have a PC surrounded by evil guys with one Big Bad Evil Guy. Each of the bad guys decide to aid their Big Bad Boss, some with offense and some with defense. So say 10 guys total,splitting between them to attack and defense) for a total of +10 to attack and +10 to defense (provided of course they hit AC 10 which shouldn't be too hard). Now while the PC's are busy trying to clean up the little bad guys, I'm mopping the dungeon floors and walls with the Big Guy on the PC's.

Do you all play with it as is? Or do you limit it by only allowing either flank or an aid check? Perhaps only from one side of the battlefield, thus you can only aid guys that are NEXT to you, not across granting flank? Or some other limit such as aiding another with skills you can put a limit on how many is feasible.

Good afternoon all. I have a player that's going to start moving up as a Paladin for Sarenrae. I've decided to create a code to help with expectations, and add to the roleplay experience for him. I'd like to hear what you think of the below and please offer any other items you can think of or why you think one's I've chosen might not work. I'm trying to get close to 10 items. Appreciate the input in advance.

The flowery text is not really mine, but pieces I've taken from the various sources I could find on Sarenrae.

"Be as a caring father or brother to all in need. Help heal the sick and lift the fallen. Be a guiding light into the darkest hearts and lands"
1. Must heal those that ask for it regardless of if they can pay.
2. Mercy must be granted to those that ask for it or request asylum
3. Help those that can't help themselves. Basically tithe 15% (money earned only. Gear not counted)

"Only respond to violence in kind with swift metal and scorching light"
4. Don't initiate combat if another path seems open
5. Actively seek out and destroy any cult of Rovagug.
6. Destroy any mindless undead or beasts as well as anything related to Rovagug as they are beyond redemption.

"Each new day brings hope and renewed opportunity. One must not let darkness into your life"
7. Can't knowingly tell a lie
8. Can't knowingly use poison
9. Must never own a slave, and must do your best to free those in bondage.

So I've setup a wishlist for items. Now my friends can come in and purchase these things, however does it give them my current discount and the ability for me to get the PDF with the purchased material?

I placed this elsewhere in the forum under the Product itself but thought it might get more visibility here.

Ayway, the Adventurer's Sash (Seeker of Secrets) is priced at 20 gp, 10x more expensive than a plain back pack. Perhaps I'm missing something but why would one use this instead of any other cheaper form of container? Does it grant something I'm not getting?

Appreciate any thoughts input in advance

I was curious if third party products that receive this type of license will make their appearance in future books of Paizo? Basically, will we see anything that will make it into any "official" works, or will we only still see the items that Paizo has created?

For example, could Warlock training grounds show up in future cities?
Will any of the third party compatable items make it to Pathfinder Canon?

We essentially have a clean slate so to speak with a brand new world setting. With a limited budget if these items are never going to see the light of day in Golaria, then this would give me a better idea on where to spend my money.

I'd like to make a suggestion to perhaps have a flag to be set for this forum once a question has been answered to make it easier to move through the threads to see which questions have been answered and those that are still pending answers.

I think this will help speed up both those looking for an already asked question and to find those which have been answered.

I was wondering off all the things you have created, thus far, what things did you think would take off, but the community didn't seem to take it the way you intended? What about things the community has jumped on that you never expected?

Just some examples:
've seen several threads asking about Aroden, and what domains he might have used, all for a dead God.
It also seems like Gnomes are a big hit here, were those anticipated, or did they receive much more interest than you first expected?

I'm curious as to how other DM's handle the various Knowledge checks in a module or AP.

Do you allow anyone with the appropriate Knowledge check to automatically make the roll when prompeted from the module?
Or do you only allow it when a PC asks to make a check?
Or some combination of the two?

I was curious if there have been any discussions on either having an "official" software package for Pathfinder, or will the company create it's own?

For example I use DM genie, it works for me, but it takes a lot of time I may not have, nor can I script as much as I would like to in order to automate the process of feats, adventures, etc.

Now I notice you did do some stuff for RPXplorer which is great, but it just doesn't have the GM tools done yet.

It looks like I probably selected the wrong method of shipping as there are products which are available that have not left the pending state. I'd like to be able to get the books that are available now if possible, while getting the ones that are coming in the future to be sent out at those times.
