I had a great time both running and playing this scenario. It's fun, challenging, and very different from most Pathfinder games. However, I should caution that the success of this scenario greatly depends on your GM. Because there are very combat encounters, and it's highly investigative, you need a GM who can improvise well, drop the clues you need, and players who can follow them. Otherwise, it just doesn't work.

This scenario is absolutely wonderful. Great role-playing opportunities, challenging encounters(including many non-combat encounters which bring in interesting rulesets, such as navigating a ship in a storm), and great lore. Highly recommended, but come prepared! This module isn't for the faint of heart.

Mechanics need a lot of work.

The lore for this scenario is amazing, but the mechanics are absolutely terrible. The encounters are absolutely BRUTAL for a Tier 1-2 party, but they are a cakewalk for Tier 3-4. Why? Because they're the same encounters with 2 mites added. Mites with 3 hp, +0 on attacks an deal 1d3-1 damage. Somehow this raises all the CRs by 2...
