From me: Biff Bifftoferson (fighter), Powell MacArtney (bard)

From my players: John Gawain, Argent V. Smithrond (Hugo Weaving fan)

(oops, RS beat me to it)

From TSR: Kracky the Hooded One

Kracky was a pre-gen cleric included in B1:In search of the unknown. I resurrected him and updated him to a 3.5 Druid a few years ago for my 25th anniversary game with my brothers (including Rambling Scribe). The Druid was in charge of looking after the mule, and got tagged as Kracky, the Ass-Whisperer.

Yes. What Cold Steel said. We've unfortunately done a poor job of differentiating between Imperial Cheliax and Infernal Cheliax. The founders of Magnimar were all about Imperial Cheliax and are pretty much against Infernal Cheliax. The people who stayed in Korvosa are all about Cheliax in general, Imperial or Infernal.

Does that help?

That clears it up.

Thanks!

So, I'm trying to figure out the general background of the 2 big cities from the first 2 AP's.

The ROTR PG says the Chelish traditionalists migrated West to found Magnimar. Yet, PF's 2 (Magnimar Article) and 3 (Varisia article) say that Magnimar seeks to break away from the Korvosan Chelish aristocracy.

Am I just not getting it, or is there a contradiction here? I read it as a mistake in the PG.

Sorry if I missed previous posts on this, I did go looking.

I'm greatly looking forward to my players rolling up ROTR characters tonight!!!

Anywho . . .Rogues? No, we ain't got no problems . . .why you got a problem with us?

Huh?

If you do, why don't ya take a little look at this:** spoiler omitted **

Ha! I didn't open the spoiler! Nice try!

You attack me brudder??!!!

FLANK!!!

I'd love to see a Paizo take on Centaurs! D&D has never done justice to the myths in this case.

I have some questions to the Golarion setting. Since I have the Pathfinder magazine only fragmentary so far (1-5) there are some open problems.

- Where exactly was Thassilon? Was it in complete Golarion or only in Varasia?

My impression of this from the article in PF1 is that Thassilon was slightly larger than Varisia is now. It extended into the ocean to the West (Bakrakhan), and slightly further South (Haruka)

- Where is the 'arabic' race (cover pathfinder 4) and are there some information about them?

The character on the cover of PF4 is Kyra. Her character card in that issue says she is from Qadira, which is near the metropolis of Absalom on the world map from the Blog. I don't believe they have detailed that yet.

- There seems to be a chinese/japanese race according to some NPC names (pathfinder 1). There are they from?

The Kajitsus are originally from Minkai (PF1 p71). Once again, it has yet to be detailed, but the Paizo folks have said on other threads that it is similar to Japan.

Thanks for help.

If you do a quick scan through the Pathinder General Discussion and ROTR forums, you will find a ton of useful information. I know that I did. Especially check out the GM Reference threads by tdewitt, very useful if you're running the path.

Another suggestion for a lower-level AP.

Add another "flavour" article to each of the 6 issues of the AP, and shorten the adventures by that page count. Maybe an extra deity focus (or two) over the arc, articles on neigbours of Varisia, etc.

Or else REALLY increase the font size ;)

Hmm... with all of the interest shown here, perhaps Paizo should see if the writer of the 3 Dragon Ante Character Gen article is available to do the same for Harrow.

Not that I have a bias ;)
