About Scoundrel the Tiefling

Appearance
Scoundrel is one of those obvious tieflings. He has horns, a long barbed tail and even claw like finger nails. His eyes are yellow. Despite this he is still somewhat handsome with Luciferian good looks. His hair is long and black, almost silky and he keeps a well trimmed soul patch. He typically dresses in somewhat loose clothing to keep cool and possibly to show off his figure. He prefers to wear nicer clothes if he can afford them.

Background
The descendant of a famous Tiefling Pirate Captain, Voren aka Scoundrel never knew his birth parents. He was forced into slavery at a young age as is the norm for Tieflings in Cheliax. He was always searching for some information not only on his parents, but also on his ancestry as well. An older slave seemed to know a great deal about one of his ancestors whom he claimed Scoundrel looked like a lot, telling him many tales of his ancestors adventures as a pirate captain who killed many slavers and freed Cheliaxian slaves. This only fueled Scoundrels need to be free. In time Scoundrel worked an escape plan and fled Cheliax, making his way to the Shackles, where he was told he could possibly learn more of his ancestor and possibly even his parents. During this escape the older slave was killed, which he feels guilty for. Paying for passage to the Shackles with the last bit of money he had, Scoundrel made his way to the Formidibly Maid. Before he arrived in the Shackles though, he thought up a new name for himself. A nickname that would fit with his new lifestyle. He would be a Scoundrel upon the sea, making his life as he choose and hopefully making a fortune while at it, his ultimate goal to get revenge on Cheliax and any slavers he came into contact with.

Personality:
Scoundrel obviously hates slavers, slavery and people who own slaves. Anyone who endorses such things will become an enemy to him quite quickly. He has a soft spot for the downtrodden, especially other tiefling slaves. Having been a slave most his life, he has a desire for the finer things in life. Money, nice clothes, good food and beautiful women. He is fiercely loyal to any good friends he does manage to make but he can be slow to trust and make friends given his heritage and how Tieflings are treated, especially obvious ones like himself. At times Scoundrel can come across as a bit of a Dandy, but when pressed a dark and savage ferocity can be awakened in him, one that even he is scared of delving too deeply into, and obvious part of his demonic heritage. For when you stare into the abyss it stares back and if you stare long enough you just might blink and fall in. He is very proud of his ancestry and commonly uses it to intimidate or gather favor with others. Those who speak ill of his ancestor or who promote slavery are sure to gain his enmity.
