As the ladies move up the stairs they hear one familiar voice. and it sounds like Corin.

No, it will leave no mark or trail on or in the Sanctum. Though Esmarelda will be able to track it here for Aidan.

I haven't meet Esmerelda, or at least I don't think I have.

I'm not sure Oroth and Sunny G. ever saw each other(probably wouldn't have ended well for shadow to meet sun). But his connection to Alain should reveal memories of new fire and shadows blocking her scrying and this essence is Oroth so Alaina may recognize it too. Know(arcana)/Know(religion) reveals this is strange variation of a spirit, one which is generating it's true form. From the power it emnates it would seem its true form was suppressed for a loong time.

Okay, I just wanted to clairfy one thing before I posted. I'll pester Alaina for some information and memories. Doe sthis essense leave a residue in the tower? SOmething like a track or marker?
