Sure I want to help all of you guys as well, I'm not heartless, but we can't help everybody, no matter how much we'd like to."A tear slowly falls down Sam's cheek as she turns away to head back to a cot and get some sleep. We could really do with the kind of help you guys can give us if we're gonna survive out there. Speaking of which," she turns to the other Starbucks Gang Menmbers, "maybe we should bring the cars around the back in the alley. Or at least move them closer to the front door, instead of halfway down the street." Once it's all over Sam heads back around to the others, bringing the Beretta nd the remaining ammo. She arrives just in time to catch Jack ask about what they all do for a living.

She waits until the smoke clears after Jack and the Colonel (Graham and the Colonel... lol) fire off their grenades, then continues to shoot at the Zombies from her vantage point at the corner of European Arms. She no longer worries about missing, knowing that the others are now safe, and is just happy to be doing her part in freeing those poor people from their torment. Sam looks down at the scene unfolding below her and draws in a deep breath. She slowly aims the rifle and pulls the trigger, but the shot goes wild. When she looks at her hands she sees that they are shaking. Obviously that's why she missed, so she slows her breathing and tries to concentrate. "People are depending on you Sam, this is no time to go to pieces". She thinks to herself.

OK, I am dense. That makes much more sense now... cheers. Trying to get in one last shot before the Zombies disappear around the corner of the alley, Sam leans out over the edge, but the angle makes her shot go wild. Sure it is... I was gonna suggest it until I read Klein's post. As long as we're out of debris range we'll be fine. =) If Sam can still see Zombies from where she is after they move, then she'll try to pop off one last shot before they disappear around the side of the building. If she can't see any, then she'll across the roof of EA until she reaches the alley (D24), so she can get a good look at the Zombies as they round the corner. Sam debates whether to go with the others, but decides to pop of at least 1 more shot at the approaching horde, as the others seem to have everything well in hand. Head Shot to Zombie with Beretta Sniper Rifle. (1d20+1-4=8)
Sam curses as her shot misses the first Zombie, but is happy to see that at least this time it hit another behind, although there was no head shot. Yeah dude we've been hearing about those wild storms over there and first thing I thought of after hearing about some people dying was, I hope you're alright. Kruelaid wrote: Just waiting for Sam to call her shot. Sam notices Dave stop shooting and turn, popping a shot off across the road. "Yeah, these things will work," she motions to the Tonfas, "but it's a little closer than I'd care to get to one of those things. "Yeah that's good. There's no way in through the front, this baby is locked up tight. We could smash some stuff, but then we'd alert anyone inside and also anyone that might be in the area as to what we're doing. We need to plan this out, we can't just go barrelling in there hoping for the best. We need to find a gun shop, or maybe camping store do you guys have guns in those? I still say we should find ourselves a Winnebago, and we should also check out this place," Sam hold up the Grainger Catalogue she and Dave found in Ace Hardware, "to grab some stuff as well."Sam dissappears for a minute, into the back of the van and comes back with the Motorola Walkie Talkies, tossing a couple across to the Camaro and handing the others to Pat and Johnnie, clipping one to her pants. "We'll use these to keep in touch while we're in different cars." She glances into the back of the Van and then turns to Johnnie. "Umm... maybe you should swap with Pat as well. Your friend back there is a little bit freaked and I think she could do with some comforting." I'm assuming that Johnnie will jump in the back with Mary Ann and Pat will hop into the Driver's seat. Sam will then sit in the passenger seat. Sam turns on the Walkie Talkie, motioning for Dave to do the same with his. Once he turns his on, she says into it "First stop is a Gun Shop. Very occasionally I may do a "loud whisper, which will be in Bold Italics". Generally I will keep my ooc comments at the beginning or end of a post, unless they specifically reference a section. She glances down into the alley at Patrick, giving him a thumbs up when she thinks he's looking, then goes back over to the door and pulls it open. She creeps down the stairs slowly (1d20+7=8), motioning Dave to do the same. She winces as she scrapes her foot on the metal staircase, then stops at each door in turn, puting her ear to the doors and listening to see if anyone is behind them. Kruel, what kinds of DC Checks are on the run to the roof (following Dave)? The one I am a bit worried about is my Jump, which is only +3 (I might have to look at that at level up). Balance & Tumble are both +8 so I don't have a problem there. Taking 10 sounds like the best course of action, but again the +3 Jump has me worried, especially between buildings.
