AM BARBARIAN was a specific barbarian build that went around the board that was basically the best that the boards could come up with as a counter to the hypothetical wizard that could have anything prepared. He is also a character that was never meant to be played, was incomplete with only estimates of his final stats, and is used as a joke around the boards.

EDIT: This appears to be the most complete form I could find.

Experienced players know when to hold back and let someone else have a chance to shine.

I think a void elemental dwarf wizard would be hilarious. You would get a bonus to saves via dwarf and void element specialization. If you really want to there is also a trait that adds another +1 to the dwarf bonus and a feat that adds +2 to it on top of that. Looking at a +7 vs spells at 1st level is pretty entertaining.

I feel that even in an evil campaign you don't steal from the party. No matter who you are you have people that you don't cross. It's like how a thieves' guild doesn't steal from its own members. The only way an organization works is if you don't have to worry about the guy at your back.

If I remember Cayden's lore he is actually against drinking for the sake of it. He is all for using it while having a good time, but he doesn't like those that abuse alcohol.

You could always just have the spellbook be a mundane spellbook and have the player just think that it talks to him.

Ask to put cross-class points into Knowledge(any), after all even if it isn't a class skill you can still put points into it, you just don't get the +3 for it being a class skill.
