BACKGROUND
Spoiler:
Jubrayl was born in Korvosa, but his father and mother left shortly after his birth to the distant city of Magnimar. It was here that Jubrayl grew up, although there was constant communication between his parents and their siblings back home in Korvosa.
A few months ago, one of Jubrayl's cousins, a young girl who was only six years old, disappeared. Knowing that Jubrayl had become a Paladin of Iomedae, his uncle appealed to him to travel back to Korvosa and aid in the search effort to find her. With a short farewell to his parents, Jubrayl boarded a boat that was sailing up the Yondabakari to Whistledown. From there, a ferry took him across Lake Syrantula and into the lake-port of Melfesh. From Melfesh, Jubrayl chartered a coach to take him to Korvosa, via the town of Harse, which lay where the Sarwin met the Falcon. It took Jubrayl just over a week to reach Korvosa and once there, he dove into the investigation. Throughout the course of the investigation, Jubrayl learned one name: Gaedren Lamm. Now, he has turned all his efforts towards finding this despicable cretin and to find out what it has to do with his cousin. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Spoiler:
Jubrayl is a handsome man with a commanding presence, and a warm voice. Never short of admirers, Jubrayl nonetheless has an impeccable sense of duty when he could be just as easily wooing women. He bears the longsword, the favoured weapon of his deity, as well as a heavy steel shield with Iomedae's symbol embossed upon it. PERSONALITY:
Spoiler:
Jubrayl has long felt the call of Iomedae in his heart, and he is utterly devoted to his deity. As a Paladin, he tends toward peaceful resolution of conflict, but he is not afraid to crack heads when there is no other option.
As a man, Jubrayl is a careful listener and willing to share troubles and grief, operating on the tenet that a problem shared is a problem lightened. Jubrayl tends not to drink, and has never taken any kind of drug. He does not look down upon those who have with scorn, however, but rather seeks to aid them by helping resolve their problems. |
