Mumbling to himself, "I know it's in here...". Rullis continues to rummage through his bag while the rest of the group searches the room. Suddenly he gets really excited and holds a scroll up in the air. "Found it!" When everyone looks at hm strangely, he replies more to himself, "I knew I had a scroll to remove paralysis in here somewhere..." His voice trails off as he returns to guard duty looking a little embarrassed.

Sorry, I haven't had a moments rest the past few weeks with work and family. Looks like I missed the big battle.

Weapon of Awe (On Kithian's primary weapon):
You transform a single weapon into an awe-inspiring instrument. The weapon gains a +2 sacred bonus on damage rolls, and if the weapon scores a critical hit, the target of that critical hit becomes shaken for 1 round with no saving throw. This is a mind-affecting fear effect.

Though as I re-read the description of the spell, it may not do anything against undead since it is a mind-affecting fear effect.

Was Weapon of Awe applied to Kithian's blade and Channel Positive Energy done? If not, I'll do those first. If so, then...

Rullis calls upon Gorzeh for support in this battle and calls forth a force trident weapon that strikes towards Foxglove.

Cast Spiritual Weapon.

Rullis slowly moves into the room, wanting to get into a position where all three are within 30 feet, but not getting ahead of the fighters. When the time is right, he'll send a wave of Gorzeh's blessing to the three undead.

But in the meantime, there seems to be an opportunity to learn something. "FoxGlove, what happened to you, who did this? The last time we met...". He voice trails off as the words fail to come to him.

Ready Channel Positive Energy to hurt undead. 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 Strike when they are all in range and they attack or our fighters strike.

Holding up the wooden icon to his God, Rullis gets up behind the fighters and waits until the post-dead goblins move within range, attempting to get as many as possible. Before they have a chance to strike the front line, he releases a wave of positive energy to harm undead.

Channel Positive Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 DC12 for half-damage

Catching up with the group... "Hey, did you guys realize that dead body back there was Redshiv? He's wanted in Sandpoint, dead or alive. I believe there is a reward out for his head."

The cleric massages the wound on his shoulder that should of fully healed from his magic as he examines the pearl ring. Detect Magic. As the Paladin heals the Elf's wounds, he approaches her and asks, "Does this look infected to you?" He shows her the remains of his wound.

Rullis pauses until they are all within range, then sends the wrath of his god against them. A wave of positive energy spreads from within to envelop the ghouls.

"I'll survive!" Rullis answers back, not wanting to impose upon the others for his own health. He forms up as directed as he chants quietly to himself, healing some of his own wounds.

Sorry, I thought I had posted. Guess it was only in my head.

With the undead bat leaving him alone (for now), he turns his focus back on the offensive. There is time to lick his wounds later. Moving behind the nearest friendly (humanoid shield?), he takes another shot.

Rullis stumbles away from this undead thing and burns one of his Divine blessings to heal the giant bubbling gash in his neck. He prays that his comrades can kill this thing before it does the same to him.

Previous Perception that I missed: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Nope, didn't actually miss anything.

"Ahhh!!!" Rullis cries out as the bat targets him, ripping into his tender flesh apart. "It's already dead!"

Fort Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Waiting on Fort Save result before proceeding... He is currently down to 5/23 hit points.

Turning back, Rullis fires a blast of electrical energy over the tops of everyone's heads at the strange bat.

Not seeing this bat Vidar is talking about from the back, Rullis cringes at the loud crashing of the skull.

He activates his shield ring and watches the other passageways that the group did not choose to take in case anything comes out of them to greet us.

Rullis will focus on his wall spell and ensure no rats make it through. He'll prepare to drop the wall if others in his party are ready to attack with more acid.

Seeing the swarm of non-undead come at them, Rullis quickly changes his chant and it suddenly gets rather windy in this chamber. Calling upon the God of Weather, he casts Wind Wall between the rats and the party members, effectively preventing the rats from advancing. At the very least, this gives those with vials of goodies useful against such swarms time to dig through their packs and find them, preparing for when I drop the wind wall.

This would appear after the 3 vials of acid where thrown.

At Vidar's comment, Rullis chants quickly while holding up his symbol of the leaf towards the opening in the wall.

"I'm tempted to say lock the door again and leave, but clearly she is a soul trapped here and we should aid her in moving beyond this realm." A rather dim light flashes over his head. "Maybe we can try communicating with her. She might know something about any other residences of this place."

The cleric keeps a watch on the group's back as the buff members of the party continue to make a racket trying to open the door. "If there is anything still alive in this place, you guys are definitely calling it up here for us."

"Unless something has happened to him." Rullis seems disturbed by the possibility. "Maybe its a good thing that Kerrec is not with us right now."

Rullis starts scratching at his arm as he walks up closer to one of the pictures, tilting his head as he does so. Swinging his pack around, he kneels and begins digging in it pulling out his first aid kit and a vial of liquid. After choking down whatever was in the bottle, he stands and says, "Come look at this. Do you see it? There is another picture underneath the first." He continues to stare at it between times digging in his first aid kit and making attempts at cleaning his arms with some of the contents.

Rullis slowly moves around to join Vidar and Sayniek in the doorway, his force shield now turned towards Kithian. He moves there more to be ready to provide aid to the wizard and paladin that to truly try to block the big man. He wishes that he had prayed to Gorzeh for Calm Emotions this morning.

"Kithian, we are here now. The time for decision about where to go was back in Sandpoint. We've been through a lot together. Are you really going to abandon us now to fight this necromancer on our own? Without our big strong Kithian, we'd be killed for certain."

Rullis activates his force shield and keeps it between him and that manticore statue. "I don't smell it either. After a whiff of Kithian's musk, probably can't smell anything." He'll keep a watch back as everyone moves up the stairs, following when able.

I completely understand. I've had to severely limit myself with Pathfinder online due to RL commitments. I'm down to just two games. The one I'm running, an AP in the middle of the 5th book that I'm committed to finishing (>5 years running) and this one. And you've probably seen my limited ability with just that. So while I would love to see this one continue, it wouldn't be a major heartbreak if it did pass.

Given that, continuing with a slower pace works for me. Hopefully life will re-align itself in the future and things can pick back up.

Rullis will have prepared Bless Water after camping the night and would have started creating a few vials of holy water once back in town. Plus he would like to pick up some silver dust (25gp) at the cathedral while we're here if it is available. I have updated his spells for heading out the next day.

Rullis has been fairly quiet on the way home after the encounters of the last few days. He is reflecting upon his own faith and praying when he can and keeping to himself. But seeing the only home he has ever know before lightens his spirit again and brings him back out of his shell.

"You cannot be upset at the sheriff. He is only trying to look out for the people of this town. And he can't do that without knowing what is going on. Come, we'll try and keep it short and to the point. I'm sure he'll understand the urgency for us to get back out there." Though inside he could really go for a couple days of rest.

Life has been hectic. I'm still reading at least once a day from my phone, but I don't generally have time to post anymore. I'll be sure to stick my head in when I can and for combat.

Cast Forbid Action(Communicate) Then, once he has shut up, he tells him in a quiet, calm tone, "Calm yourself, we don't want to draw them back here. If you had stayed here, then you would have suffered them same fate as them and you wouldn't have been able to find us. You did what you had to."

Rullis stutters a bit in his reply as he stares off into the fields. "Uh, I, uh think so. I've never tried. I, uh, will be sure to pray tomorrow morning for Her to grant me such abilities. But I, um, cannot guarantee that He will approve of asking Him of such things." He keeps his face turned away and he focused on that which is behind him.

In the back, Rullis grips the wooden leaf hanging from his neck and silently says a prayer to himself. He keeps his eyes moving between the fields on both sides of the farmhouse and behind as he waits for those in the front to approach the porch.

Seeing the Assimar scanning the room, he decides he should do the same. Putting the scroll back in its case, he begins chanting, holds his spear tightly, and advances into the room.

Cast Detect Magic, move into the room as necessary to ensure every portion of the room is scanned within the spell's range and try to penetrate through the doors, recasting as necessary.

If he is here and invisible, he'll likely have magical items on him that will radiate auras.
