There first thing to do was find a place to sleep safely. There had to be one in the forest somewhere. A hollow log, a group of boulders, a tree with strong branches and a lot of leaves, anything! Rowan continues intot he forest looking for a place to wait for dawn.

Running for it.

As soon as he can, Rowan takes off running for the trees he could just barely see. There was no reason to stick around and join whatever brawl was about to occur over the cornucopia.

"Just one." Rowan says with a lopsided, mocking grin. "Have you figured out who you're betting on yet?"

"What, in the past, didn't go over well with the sponsors?"

This man wants us to rate how easily we'll be to kill or be killed? Rowant thinks angrily. Let him in the Hunger Games and let him bet on himself!

"Who you bet on is not our problem. Why should we care about what you think is important? Our survival is all we care about, not how much blood money you can make off of us."

"Nothing, I'd be dead." Rowan thinks.

"I'd regret not seeing the trees of my District again."

"Lived." He says simply.
