Racial Abilities:

Dark-vision : Though uncommon, some groups of elves are born with dark-vision, rather than low-light vision. In many cases this is taken as a sign of a Drow in the elf's ancestry, and can lead to persecution within the elf's home community. Elves with this racial trait gain dark-vision with a range of 60 feet, but also gain sensitivity to light and are dazzled in areas of bright light or within the radius of a daylight spell. This racial trait replaces low-light vision.

Fleet-Footed : While all elves are naturally lithe and agile, some also are naturally speedy and have a strong desire to rush into situations rather than worrying about looking ahead. Elves with this racial trait receive Run as a bonus feat and a +2 racial bonus on initiative checks. This racial trait replaces keen senses and weapon familiarity.

Desert Runner : Some elves thrive in the deepest deserts, forever roaming across burned and parched lands. Elves with this racial trait receive a +4 racial bonus on Constitution checks and Fortitude saves to avoid fatigue, exhaustion, or ill effects from running, forced marches, starvation, thirst, or hot or cold environments. This racial trait replaces elven magic.

Elemental Resistance : Elves who dwell in the most extreme environments, from arctic wastelands to volcanic plains, develop natural resistance to the dangers of their homelands over the course of a few generations. Elves with this racial trait gain elemental resistance 5 to acid, cold, electricity, or fire. This choice is made at character creation, and once made it cannot be changed. This racial trait replaces elven immunities.

Fighter Abilities:

Strategic Training : A tactician gains 4 skill points + a number of skill points equal to his Intelligence modifier at each level, instead of the normal 2 skill points + Intelligence modifier at each level. Furthermore, Diplomacy (Cha), Knowledge (geography) (Int), Knowledge (nobility) (Int), Linguistics (Int), and Sense Motive (Wis) are all class skills for the tactician. This ability replaces the bonus fighter combat feat gained at 1st level.

Tactical Awareness (Ex): At 2nd level, a tactician gains a
+1 bonus on initiative checks. This bonus increases by +1
for every four levels after 2nd level (to a maximum of +5 at
18th level). This ability replaces bravery.

Appearance:

Ronan is an Elven man, he stands at 5'10" and is very slender. He has long moon white hair and a very slight shading to his skin, he has eyes that seem to be able to piece through the most common of shadows and dark rooms. He is clean shaven and his hair is in a low ponytail, tied up with a dark purple band.

He wears his uniform all the time and even has a second for when this one is being washed, his uniform is always clean. By his side hangs a scabbard with a scimitar in, the handle of which has been worn by use and sweat. His uniform has a hood on to keep the rain out of his face and hair, when up he seems to blend into the shadows as his moon white hair is no longer on show.

Background:
From a very early age it was discovered that Ronan had the finesse and grace to be a fine warrior and it was from that moment on that his life had been decided for him. For nearly 60 years he trained solidly, he didn't make friends with the other Elven children, just spending all of his time with his sword. Yet even after so much training he was still unable to grasp the grace that the Elders had hoped for, he clearly didn't have the "gift" to use such noble weapons. It was upon learning that everyone thought low of him, that made him continue training, through all weathers and all times of the day. He found that preferred to use a slightly heavier, more "savage" weapon, a weapon used for slicing instead of thrusting. To him, this felt and looked a lot more beautiful and if timed right, could also thrust with deadly accuracy. No-one could doubt his talents with the heavy, curved blade and knew he would make a brilliant addition to the cities militia and military.

Ronan finally left his family in Kyonin before he had even reached adulthood. He wandered about a bit and found himself in a city called Westcrown, here he passed for an adult and joined the city guard. Only the captain knew his true age and instead of report him he instead saw Ronan's fierce determination and decided to see what the boy was capable of. That was the best decision he had ever made, for Ronan was both quick and could handle himself in a fight.

It has been nearly 70 years from that day and all of his brother guards had long passed on, including his captain. But Ronan continued to work and was well known through-out the guard as an honest man who wouldn't break the law and was incorruptible ... although he was a bit gruff and didn't soften his tongue. He always spoke the truth, even if it would get him into more trouble ... although he had learned to not say the whole truth sometimes. He has heard that the Queen has asked for heroes wander the surrounding lands to help promote stability and aid in any way possible, Ronan may not be a hero but he is up for helping those in need and spreading the word of law beyond the city walls.
