Backstory
One night, when praying at the altar, Torag himself appeared in a vision, 'Rogar Stonecrusher, do not think your years of service in my name have gone unnoticed. Your faithfulness has come to my attention and should you accept, I would bestow upon you the honour of serving as one of my Paladins.' Rogar accepted and overnight his life changed. He felt pulled to leave his clan and serve his god in the world. For years he wandered from town to town, giving aid where he could, before finally settling in Katapesh 10 years ago. In his time serving with the Temple at Katapesh he grew to know Father Bahjat, first meeting him as they worked to rebuild the orphanage 8 years ago. While they both served different gods, they found themselves on friendly terms as they each helped the population in their own areas of expertise. |
