Make solarians a Wisdom-based class if they are keeping the monastic traditions. Or flavor them more like swashbucklers if they are staying with Charisma.

Paizo making some enemies neutral when they acted evil has sometimes been an issue.

Me: "I cast Divine Lance."
GM: "You hit."
Me: "It deals good damage."
GM: "It doesn't appear to have an effect."
Me: "Are you @&#%ing kidding me Paizo!"

Mine is in honor of the film The Dirt, the film adaptation of Motley Crue's biography, recently being released on Netflix. While I certainly don't approve of the actions in the Girls, Girls, Girls B-side power ballad You're All I Need, I can't deny my appreciation for the art form known as lyrical dissonance.

The title is reminiscent of soap opera star Jack Wagner's soft rock hit All I Need, as Crue bassist and chief songwriter Nixxi Sixx suspected his girlfriend of cheating on him with Wagner. Meanwhile, Sixx was cheating on her with twenty other women, but the hypocrisy failed to register in his drug-addled mind. Vince Neil's soaring upbeat vocals stood in sharp contrast to the tragic tale of the murder of a lover so that the heartbroken narrator could keep her all to himself.

Sixx showcased his dark humor most prominently in the verse-ending line, "But we finally made the news," evoking nostalgia of a time in which securing a headline could be considered relationship goals, long before the era of tweets and hashtags. While this tune would possibly be barred from mainstream airwaves in the modern climate, You're All I Need will remain in the hearts of classic headbangers as one of the all-time great ballads. (OK, maybe not. Home Sweet Home is a far more popular example of a slow pretty song from the leather-and-umlaut clad bad boys.)

I would like it if we just dropped deity alignment and used anathemas to control which clerics can worship whom. I think anathemas are much more clear role-play hooks then alignment, especially since no two people can agree on what Chaos and Law are.

I second this idea. Concrete rules are better guides for behavior than alignments, which can be subjective. My characters who worship Gorum tend to act lawful good, despite being chaotic neutral on paper, and I’ve never been warned that I was close to violating Gorum’s tenets.

Name: Ernesto Seppatuuli, the Zircon Sage
Alignment: Neutral Good
Race: Sylph
Class: Magus 10
Description: This sylph is usually seen wearing a mithral breastplate emblazoned with a rainbow-tailed songbird or bright pink Tian dress robes. His glowing scimitar, forged from a mysterious jet-black metal, occasionally borrows his voice, often speaking more to the point than its long-winded (pun intended) bearer.

Ernesto is a celebrated chronicler of the Pathfinder Society, frequently completing missions related to elemental balance or extraplanar exploration in addition to his duties with the Scarab Sages. He spends his quieter days crafting exquisite musical instruments, a practice that creates at least as many problems as it solves when utilized during adventures. Wishing to set himself apart from the typical shocking-grasp-happy magus, Ernesto styles himself as a "mageknight" questing in the service of Shelyn; his blade companion appears to share such aims when it decides to speak.

The only gender mechanics that I have seen in the CRB are height and weight, which may simply be holdovers from the world’s oldest roleplaying game. I do not recall any PFS scenarios that take height or weight into account. So you should be fine to go ahead and make a character who is intersex, genderfluid, etc.

I predict that any "action" will ultimately be determined by how many people vote with their wallets on Paizo delving deeply into mature themes.

Modify Memory may be more likely to be used to make a child think something horrific happened, rather than cover it up.

Veil sounds as though it is more likely to make the caster, or another creature or object, appear more terrifying to the child.

Unnatural Lust.... yeah, I'll give you that one. Even if intended for another use, it has overtly sexual connotations. A variant "Unnatural Gluttony" or something may be more appropriate.

Yeah, they're obviously supposed to be the villains. If players go off the deep end in performing evil actions, that's on them. Paizo shouldn't have to censor material for the vast majority of gamers just to prevent what might happen with a few fringe elements.

I feel like the name of this thread is misleading.

Starfinder takes place X,000 years in the future from Pathfinder. Creatures change and evolve over time, even if it's slowly and fueled by scientific discovery / social norms changing rather than genetic progression or change.

If anything, this thread should be called The Lashunta Progression.

I have heard it described not as a retcon but rather more development on a species that was rare in Pathfinder but has come into the spotlight in Starfinder. Few people on Golarion knew about lashuntas, and even fewer knew what "korasha" or "damaya" meant. Who knows if future Pathfinder material featuring lashuntas will have the new details.

For mechanical reasons I am a fan of the new stats, as I am loving the Strength and Charisma for my solarian.

Several times I've heard people say they joined the Grand Lodge because "it's the I-don't-care faction." While I think it was meant to be the faction for people who want to focus solely on being Pathfinders, others seem to gravitate to the Lodge if they have little patience for investigation or intrigue and just want to hit things.

Hence I propose the Beatstick Bros faction (note: ladies are bros too; I want alliteration): home for field agents who cannot be bothered to write down important names and events, who barely speak anything other than Common (and even then, not very fluently), and whose first stop after being paid is the alehouse or the weapons shop. Their skillset is invaluable for defeating the horrific beasts that stand between their more bookish compatriots and the success conditions, but if a key person or macguffin gets caught in the crossfire, that's just the cost of doing business. So draw your +5 keen greatswords and sound the mantra of the BB's: "I attack!"

Wait, Queen Abrogail Thrune is supposed to be a villain? I've been way off the mark in my interpretation of her.
Well, she's a hardcore devil Nazi, so if that doesn't scream "villain" to you, I don't know what to tell you.

My interpretation was that she inherited a lot of problems from her family (the whole selling of souls to Hell thing) and does her best to stay strong despite being trapped in her current role. As in, she has to stay with her family tradition of working with devils because they are in too deep to back out of the deal.
