Posterazor is my goto printing program to use my standard 8.5x11 printer and print out any map I want:
And it is FREE!!
I have been using d20pro the past few months.
Are you talking about individual spell effects or are you asking about Area of effect?
Area of Effects are fairly easy in d20pro (and I thought the rest of the virtual tabletop programs had it built in as well). I have used different colors for different effects: Wall of Fire: Red, Wall of Stone: Black, fog cloud: Grey, Stinking cloud: Green. etc.

Camping Cots are your friend. They are small enough to throw into the back of your car, or as your second check in baggage if you are flying. But it might not be worth the extra baggage fee if you are flying ($25 each way).you can use the pillow in the room, but bring your own blanket if you want to ensure getting one.
Did you find any groups with openings in the LA area? I want to join too went to that Facebook page but didn't really find anything that helped.
Did you look in the file section, since it lists all the stores in the area, along with their warhorn sites to sign up, and the addresses of the stores?
Also since it is a very active group, you can post a question on it and the VO's in the area can find your requests faster.
Where in LA are you looking for? (LA is a very large area)! There are a number of established gaming groups and stores throughout the region. You might want to consider going to some of the PFS events throughout the region. Most of the events and store listings are here https://www.facebook.com/groups/PFSLaGrandLodge/
get involved in a few games and I am sure that you can get hooked up with some home campaigns and players once you get to know a few people.
Welcome to LA
It often depended on how hard you wanted to push a character toward retirement, who had already had near brushes with death.
"Yeah, just one more enlistment and I will have it all!!" "Oops!"

Okay, I'm still waiting for my hotel information to drop from Paizo; and I know that they're probably waiting for all the room information from the managers at Gen Con. Does anybody remember how late room information was sent out last year? Seven days, man. Come on, please???
To be honest, I have never gotten any room confirmation from anyone but the PFS/volunteer coordinator for my room. Telling me my roommates, etc, but never any numbers etc that you normally get, if you had made the reservation yourself.
Use to do 8 different scenario preps for Gencon. Not something I would like to do anymore.
Or did you ask for different scenarios for all slots?
(looking foward to returning to the con after a 2 year absence)
Mike, I am glad to have hosted you at Orccon in Los Angeles this last spring. The worldwide campaign was blessed with your envolvement, and I hope that your future endeavors are as challenging and enjoyable as the job you are leaving!
You shall leave a hole in community but I hope that you remain active in your local community and continue to join the various events and conventions throughout the world. I know you will always be welcome everywhere the PFS is played and RPGs are consumed!
Great working with you (what is the number now? :) ).
I look forward to working with you at Gencon and I still owe you a drink!

Made for a good way to represent. Perfect to bring wave of Ogres to the players, which were are the end of their resources due to having already clearing the inner fort and sub-levels. Showed how even low level ogres can give the players a challenge.
I actually was able to escape with 3 Sergents and 3 minion ogres from the massacre. (Even Ogres won't fight to the last man!!
