The man known as Robert D’Longacre is a foundling, who was raised by the Church of Asmodeus. A devout and cunning follower of the First, Robert entered the priesthood intent on not only rising but becoming pre-eminent, wielding both secular and spiritual power. Robert rightly withholds his god’s healing touch from those who he deems less than devout.

Besides his spiritual duties, Robert also serves the Church as a scribe and cipher, which helps the Church in its various covert activities (blackmail, forgery, extortion, counter-intelligence, etc.) Likewise, Robert is a skilled combatant trained in mace and shield, ever ready to crack skulls and break bones in the name of the First. Finally, Robert is a likeable fellow amongst his brethren and he has founded a study group he calls “The Firstborn,” which he intends to use in his rise to power.
