Hmm, clicked on Jason Neals profile and saw no posts... Indeed. "No posts. No reviews. No lists. No wishlists." To which can be added "No Profile" - There is only the thread for his item remaining. Perhaps this person withdrew completely from the Paizo boards? Congratulations Benjamin Medrano!With two Alternates promoted, I just noticed that there were only three this year, rather than the usual four. Was there any particular reason for this?

The "riding inside an ooze" concept sounded familiar to me, so I ran a search and found a 3rd edition DnD item in the Arms and Equipment Guide called the Amulet of Ooze Riding (28,000 gp). So, at least the idea that someone can safely stay inside an ooze with magical protection has existed for a while.

... ... Thank you very much for your review comments. I definitely should have spent more time on the pricing. I am particularly kicking myself for only looking at wondrous items for comparison, and so overlooking the Ring of Water Walking. I wound up using Horseshoes of a Zephyr as my "baseline", and as the deadline approached, I simply used the same price. My original design concept did not include being able to travel on the surface of liquids, so I discounted the water walk spell at that point, and never looked back. I should have rechecked the list of spells after adding the feature, and included the spell in the requirements and pricing. Similarly, I will try to avoid adding features at the last minute - as I was getting ready to submit, it occurred to me that a player might ask whether their reduced weight would affect traps triggered by stepping on a pressure plate, and so added text without giving proper consideration to the idea. Again, thank you. Your feedback will help me improve for next year!
