Would it be possible to drop the Fluxx 4.0 Deck from the order and just ship the Shackled City hardcover?

Thanks in advance.

The Blot as its called, is a shadow in the sky, and floats high above Riddleport, appearing to be kind of a dark cloud, but fuzzy at the edges. When it first appeared in the sky over Riddleport several weeks ago, the whole city was abuzz wonder and excitement. Since then the novelty has worn off, but various scholars and students of esoteric knowledge have been streaming into the city to witness and study it. For the more unscrupulous citizens (which is a good portion of the population), this has provided an unlooked for bounty of easy marks.

It's there every day, never seeming to get much bigger or smaller, or to move very far from its general area.

What is it? And what does it portend, if anything? Is it just a random, crazy occurrence, or is it the symptom of a deeper, darker disease?

We can start discussing characters and background in detail here. If any of you don't have access to the Second Darkness Player's Guide let me know; we can work something out.

I would like to take a crack at a DMing a Second Darkness PbP game if there is enough interest.

We would use Pathfinder Beta Rules and anything from the Golarion setting is allowed.

20 point buy for abilities.

Max hit points for 1st level, for each level after your choice to take average rounded up hit points or gamble and roll.

Maximum starting gold for the class.

Pick traits as described in the Second Darkness Player's Guide (I highly recommend that players have access to this book - unfortunately it is not a free download).

I would like everyone to be able post daily (give or take).

How you roll is up to you, you can use invisiblecastle or real dice.

To speed up encounters I propose that I make initiative rolls, passive Perception rolls and perhaps attack of opportunity rolls. What do you think?

I will keep this thread open for a few days then I will choose no more than six characters.

A caveat - although I have been playing in a few PbP games for a while, I am a relatively inexperienced PbP DM, so bear with me.

When is this going to ship? I subscribed to the APs in August. Now I won't get PF13 until November? Does the "ship with next monthly shipment" option mean nothing ever ships?

Can you ship the stuff you have now?

The town Falcon's Hollow rests perilously close to the infamous Darkmoon Wood, and Droskar's Crag casts shadow of gloom over the desperate souls who call Falcon's Hollow home.

Falcon's Hollow is little more than a lumber camp, being entirely owned by the Lumber Consortium, who cut down logs in Darkmoon Wood and ship them off to more civvilized regions to the south.

Darkmoon Vale is a sparely populated region of wilderness in the northern part of the country of Andoran. Toweing over the northern border of Darkmoon Vale is Droskar's Crag, a huge volcano that erupted in a massive exposion called The Rending almost a thousand years ago. Although it continues to emit occasional puffs of smoke from it's two craters, dwarven volcanoligists assure concerned Andoran citizens that a major eruption is not imminent.

Welcome to the thread guys

In play-testing Alpha 3, our group had some confusion about the bit of luck Luck domain ability, specifically when the luck runs out and you can no longer roll two dice for one attack. The rule says:

Pathfinder RPG Alpha 3 wrote:
The target must decide to use this ability before rolling the dice. This effect fades after 3 rounds or when the reroll is used.

I thought this could be interpreted two ways:

1. The luck runs out after the target decides to roll two dice for a single attack, regardless of what the result of either roll is.

2. The target can keep rolling two dice for each attack until he actually uses the second roll to resolve the attack (or thee rounds elapses).

If you start out as a multi-classed (character level higher than 1st), it is not clear if a human's favored class is from first class level taken or if it can be any class (one of the class levels taken after the first class).

For example, I started a character as a Rogue 1/Sorcerer 3 and I assumed the level of Rogue was the first one taken. However I wanted the character's favored class to be Sorcerer. Can I do this? The rules as written aren't clear.
