Taking it all in Rhiannon takes a deep breath of the fresh air, a smile creeping across her face. With an elegant bow she replies. "It would be an honor My Lady, and thanks you." she says stepping forward towards the servants holding clothing. A new life and a new purpose. There wasn't much more one could ask.
As she feels herself leave her broken body, Rhiannon feels the pull, upward and away from the darkness and horror of the undead world only to find herself on Yggdrasil....or something like it. So she was really dead. And yet, apart of her wanted more...true a part of her loved the thrill of battle and always wnted to keep up the good fight, but over the years there were other things she'd passed up or only sampled far too briefly. She wanted more form life. As Lauralia mentions Hanalindali, her mind drifts to Nermerin's rogueish grin. They were still fighting...a good fight...with the potential for a good life. he wouldn't be herself, but she would be able to....live. Her life passes before her then, her existence on Eberrorn, the war and the time afterwards. Her arrival in Sigil and the quiet companionship of the Silver Rose Company. All at an end. And now she had a choice. "I would return to Hanalindali if I could choose my fate." she says, surprised at her own calm.
So congratulations guys. Been really busy last couple days ad only just read the posts since Rhiannon's death. The reaction posts......free flowing tears.....which has never happened to me before in any game. Bravo all of you.
The devastating blow sends Rhiannon's broken body flying from the saddle to crash down onto the dark stone unmoving.
Locking eyes with the dark horror, Rhiannon raises her longspear in challenge before spurring Thunderhead into a pounding charge, leveling her weapon as she does, her body perfectly braced for impact.
Shaking her head at the banter Rhiannon focuses on guarding thier point of entry against any unpleasant surprises.
Rhiannon sits astride Thunderhead ready for action. Oddly enough she found her mind straying to Hanalandrim and the dashing Nermerin, in particular the highly enjoyable night they’d spent together. In truth the last few missions in increasingly darker settings were beginning to wear on her. Though she would never be one for a peaceful life, the fact that it could also be enjoyable was definitely high in her awareness recently.
How would you feel about a Holy Gun....gunslinging paladin?

Ugh! Sorry just haven't been feeling Rhiannon lately. Combination of the time off and the narrowed function of the Cavalier class I guess.

Rhiannon studies the combat, calling out directions to those engaging the clown.
Dismounting and whispering to Thunderhead, the cavalier dismisses her companion, sending him home to the shadow plane, as she readies herself to go down the ladder last.
Sitting atop a storm grey destrier whose mane and tail seem to be comprised of smoke, the tanned armored blonde with sharp green eyes flashes the man a smile after she stows the wicked looking spear in the holster built into her saddle. Attractive, her clearly more solid than average frame, speaks to a warrior’s build, her easy smile and almost formal body language slightly at odds. "Well met Hamar, I'm Rhiannon." she says with a nod.
Launching Thunderhead into a charge Rhiannon bears down on Karren's attacker bringing her longspear to strike at the enemy.
"Probably not a bad idea." Rhiannon replies.
"So wade headfirst into an undead world to face off against a possible infinite number of soulless monsters." Rhiannon mutters. "The craziest partbis that I have to thik about it to know if it's the worst idea we've ever acted on."
Oh no that doesn't sound very good at all.
Sorry to hear that Lynora, I hope his memory can be a blessing to you.
Ugh. will try to get a post up soon. With all the time in between I'm feeling very disconnected from Rhiannon, which makes it difficult to post.

"Well it seems to be relatively in tune with what's becoming our norm. I'm in." Rhiannon says calmly.

The bath is exactly what she needs, the water hot just short of stinging against her skin, soothing her aching muscles while the scents of eucalyptus and peppermint take her mind away. One of the few aspects of noble life that she could never quite give up was a long hot bath, especially after a battle. As her body decompresses, Rhiannon closes her eyes, allowing her mind to play over the insane series of events of the last few days.
Still 8 last I checked.
I may not get all that much rest but I'll be damned if I miss out on the hot bath" Rhiannon says standing up. "I'l meet you all in a bit and get caught up." she says making her way upstairs.
Rhiannon sighs upon reading the scroll. "The work never ends does it?"

"No it was perfect." Rhiannon says with a smile. "And having seen you both with and without her influence, you're far more capable than you give yourself credit for."
"Not to my knowledge, Rhiannon replies to Nari as she finishes a bite. Nut I'm sure Justin might have found something." She looks at the Elan in her new form. "So what is it like? Being free of the other part to be fully yourself?"
"Not that much. Just looking forward to a long hot bath as soon as I'm done eating." Rhiannon says smiling at Nari
Wearily making her way back to the Copper Cauldon, Rhiannon seeks a warm meal and a hot bath.
Rhiannon smiles meeting Karen's friends. Truly Sigil was a place of wonders beyond imagination.
Rhiannon listens quietly, nodding at Justin's comments.
"Ugh, rats aren't bad enough they need to talk too?" Rhiannon mutters wearily.
Rhiannon pulls up a chair at the Silver Rose table and orders a heavy meal and a pot of herbal tea.
"I could definitely use a good meal and a nice hot bath after a day like this one," Rhiannon says, cracking her neck.
Quietly dismounting, Rhiannon sends Thunderhead to his home plane with a grateful hug. As she notices the activity in the alley, she places her hand on the hilt of her sword, awaiting Isaac's signal of the need for action. Perception
"Yes we probably should, if it truly is a divine spark these....should not be allowed to touch it." Rhiannon replies still mounted atop her shadowy steed.
Wheeling around Rhiannon launches into another charging pass,spear leveled with lethal intent, body locking into position just before the moment of impact.
The sound of his hooves hammering against the ground make the reason for Thunderhead's name abundantly clear and Rhiannon launches them into a charge the point of her longspear plunging deep into the worm creature.
With Thunderhead rematerialized, Rhianon, mounts the mighty charger and levels her spear at the creature,issuing a clear challenge.
