I realize this is off topic, but I feel Monte has been defended well enough, in general I agree with the majority of postings, Monte rocks and is not obsessed.

That said I'm curious about how those against the idea of downloaded books download movies, music, cartoons or other media? or use sites like alluc? and bittorents? what makes the downloading of one form of media ok and another taboo. Admitedly any book I've ever downloaded I now own, for the express reason that I want to support this industry in any way I can and will go out a buy a book I've read cover to cover to do my part. I also completely understand the argument against piracy because it is theft, but as I look at the songs on my Ipod I realize I'm not really in a moral position to judge. also admitedlly those who do not download any form of media are. Guess this is just a "let he without sin cast the first stone moment."

But back on topic, Monte writes amazing things and is one of the best in the business! (Whoo go Ptolus!)

PS: I own neither PDF or hardcopy of Ptolus, I just look at it dreamily in my game store. Stupid $125 price tag.

I figured that was how it worked but I wasn't sure, since I know WotC has something in the works of "buy the book, get the PDF", and it didn't hurt to ask.

Well then, this gives me something to think about, as subscribing or buying from the store cost me the same, and I would like to support both you guys, and the shop. Hmmm

Ah well, food for thought, thanks for the quick and concise answer.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, not really sure where to ask this.

Is there someway to use my copies of Pathfinder that I've bought so far to get the PDFs of them as well. I'm not subscribed, but the thing is that with where I live in Canada, Shipping and handling for a subscription places the price I'd be paying at the same as what I'm being charged without that 30% discount that subscription would give me. And this way I support Paizo and my local shop.

I'll understand if this is just a "subscribers only" Kind of deal, but the idea of printing maps for my campaign is too good to not look in to.

thanks for your help!

While I haven't gotten to actually sit down and give it a full read through, I know that the GameMastery module: Rise of the Kobold King makes reference to and so I assume is set in Golarion, That might help you. For a published adventure it's pretty cheap to, only 15 bucks up here in Canada.

I recently asked what the chances of getting Age of Worms and Savage Tide collected into sourcebooks like Shackled City. The answer I got from Lisa herself was that Paizo no longer holds the rights to produce those works in any form, unless WotC decides to give them the rights in the future.

My guess is that also means they'll steer clear of them to be safe. I mean yes they could do something like AoW did with the Free City, No one said it but everyone knew it was Greyhawk. But I do doubt it.

Hey Guys, I just want to prefact by saying that I love the new Pathfinder magazines! I picked up #1 not long ago and it's fantastic.

I was wondering if you plan on collecting AoW and ST in to sourcebooks like Shackled City was? or are you not allowed now that Wizards of the Coast didn't renew?
