Traits
Numerian Archaeologist: You’ve studied Numeria’s eerie technological ruins extensively. You gain Androffan as an additional language. In addition, you possess a knack for technological items; when you use a timeworn technological item, roll twice when determining any glitches the item might cause and choose which result to use as your actual result. Talk to your GM for more information about resolving glitches.

Bomb 1d6 4/day

Constructed: For the purposes of effects targeting creatures by type (such as a ranger's favored enemy and bane weapons), androids count as both humanoids and constructs. Androids gain a +4 racial bonus on all saving throws against mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, and stun effects, are not subject to fatigue or exhaustion, and are immune to disease and sleep effects. Androids can never gain morale bonuses, and are immune to fear effects and all emotion-based effects.

Darkvision

Emotionless: Androids have problems processing emotions properly, and thus take a –4 penalty on Sense Motive checks.

Low-light vision

Mutagen

Nanite Surge: An android's body is infused with nanites. Once per day as an immediate action, an android can cause her nanites to surge, granting a bonus equal to 3 + the android's character level on any one d20 roll; this ability must be activated before the roll is made. When an android uses this power, her circuitry-tattoos glow with light equivalent to that of a torch in illumination for 1 round.

Appearance
RAU-282 appears to be a typical Kellid girl, albeit short of stature and unusually well-groomed, black of hair and eye. Her body is covered from head to toe in a delicate grid of tattoos, rather than the usual organic swirl of natural images. She prefers to dress in male clothing, but these are the stuffy clothes of a reclusive scholar, augmented with whatever pieces of equipment she may require, without any attention for fashion or aesthetic.

Background
Birth is a profoundly mysterious thing.
To be born full-grown, lying naked in a broken landscape near a mound of inert metal, is not just mysterious - it is puzzling. When she searched her memory, she knew what she was, she knew her designation, but not what her purpose was. Nor the reason why she was in this location. Nor why she was all alone. Nor - most importantly - what she was supposed to do.
She wandered the broken land of Numeria until she came upon her first humans. These were creatures which looked like her, but which she realized were different from her. And with whom she did not know how to communicate.
She was fortunate, for these were scholars out of Ustalav, turned away at the gate of Starfall. They were kind, scholarly people who took the 'confused, amnesiac girl' in and taught her their language on the way home. Once she could speak, understand and - more importantly - read, the scholars were astounded and delighted by her hunger for knowledge.
And she was hungry for knowledge. Knowledge about the world and the way it worked. Knowledge about the wide gulfs of history - the world's history and her own. Magic, science, philosophy, faith, none of it was beneath her interest. So these learned men and women gave her an education and a name: "Raven", for her dark hair and eyes, and "Usta" in reference to the nation in which she was fostered and educated.
Beneath her stoic exterior, she was in a muted sort of turmoil. What was her true nature? Was she a mere machine, acting out programming it could not remember? A person trying to find out her true nature? Did she have a destiny? Was the sum of knowledge she was building useful? Would she present it to Pharasma when her body ceased working, or would it spiral into oblivion?
She needed answers. She desperately needed answers. And logic dictated that there was only one place where she could find them; in the place where it had all started. Numeria. She needed to unravel the mysteries of Numeria. She needed... to go home.
