Height: 5'2"
Hair Colour: Raven black Eye Colour: Deep brown General Appearance: Rashmi keeps herself clean and presentable at all times, taking pride (but not too much pride) in her appearance. Attire: Whilst adventuring Rashmi wears a salwar kameez and at other times tends to prefer wearing a traditional saree. She tends to favour fabrics in reds, oranges and golds. Personality: Calm and collected, for the most part, Rashmi usually keeps herself composed, sticking to her own code of personal honour. She is however a friendly girl, with a smile as bright as her clothing. She is instinctively drawn to bright colours and blatant displays of wealth (especially those who wear a lot of jewellery), not because she hold material posessions in high regard personally but more because of her cultural upbringing, to have such wealth shows a person's caste and to be so wealthy shows that said person acheived greatness in a former life. ----- History ----- Spoiler:
An unwanted female baby Rashmi was abandoned by her parents and raised in a baladata ("girl's school") Many attempts were made to teach her a useful trade but most did not suit her and her teachers soon started to worry that she would never find her place and become an outcast in Vudrani society. To know ones place is to know contentment and it seemed the child would never know that contentment. This changed as the girl grew however, frequently the brunt of attacks from the older girls Rashmi learnt to move quickly and with suprising grace. As this fact was unearthed Rashmi's education was altered, teaching her to dance and to fight, she would always be of the lowest caste of Vudrani society but her teachers seemed sure that with time she could perhaps make a passable explorer or a member of a ships crew.
It was at this time that Rashmi started to truly understand the teachings of Irori, she learnt not to shun her lot in life but to embrace it. Whilst she was of a low caste she could strive hard to acheive enlightenment, to work on her body and mind in the hopes of earning a better life in her next incarnation. Once she reached adulthoof Rashmi left the orphanage behind and set out into the world, seeking further enlightenment, new fighting styles and stronger opponents, new techniques for focusing the mind and new experiences for the soul. Recently her travels have brought her to Riddleport, a city filled with a great variety of people, a great number of whom are strong in physical strength or in will. |
