DESCRIPTION

Raphael d'Adarrin presents himself with a confident--perhaps blusteringly so--air. He often wears a smug, knowing look on his handsome, throughly Chelaxian face. He has intelligent brown eyes and meticulously groomed black hair often worn in a ponytail. Never one to miss out on the latest Chelish fashions, Raphael often wears ostentatious garb (though most of the time the clothing is just a cheap knockoff of the actual Chelish lines) and insists on peppering his speech with the occasional bits of Asmodean aphorisms.

Raphael stands about 5'9'' and weighs about 150 pounds. He is thin and wiry, and moves with quick grace and utter surety.

BACKGROUND

Perhaps in spite of his love for everything Chelish, Raphael was forced to leave his homeland when it was discovered that his mother, a tiefling cleric of Asmodeus, was discovered to be carrying on an affair with a Qadiri cleric of the Dawnfeather--a man labeled as a terrorist by the Chelish government. His father, outraged and shamed by this tryst, committed suicide. Raphael, then a young scribe working for a cabal of enchanters, left Cheliax to avoid a gruesome fate at the hands of angry devil-worshipers.

Without knowing his mother's fate, Raphael traveled east, and eventually arrived in Darkmoon Vale. Tired of traveling, he settled down in Falcon's Hollow, taking up a job as a scribe for the Lumber Consortium.

Since Thuldrin Kreed of the Lumber Consortium recognized Raphael's talent for guile and subterfuge, the young Chelaxian has been hired to spy on various people in Falcon's Hollow. Raphael takes pleasure in his tricky double life, for he loves learning other people's secrets.

Raphael spends his free time carousing at the Rouge Lady, where he gambles and enjoys the softer delights.
