I've got to agree with Berashel. This would be a good weapon to destroy. I do understand the value aspect of it though. Perhaps we can take it to a temple in Yanmass and get a reward for turning in such a weapon of evil? Then they can handle destroying it.

That's not quite correct. Unholy is an additional +2 adjustment. So to value it you add all enhancement bonuses together, +1 for straight enhancement and the +2 for unholy to get +3.

So the total +3 makes it 18,000 for the weapon, 300 for MW, and 12 for the mace. Or 18,312 total.

I look at Mummy's Mask, and I'm just not sure it's one I'm interested in. Plus I'd feel bad taking a spot from someone who really loves egyptian lore when my own interest isn't on par.

There's also the possibility that I may end up running it for my home group depending on how things go. I have two friends that are really interested in it, and I might run it for them depending on what happens with his deployment.

One of my friends is like that. He prefers to figure out the character's background as he plays. I'm not overly concerned when it comes to magic items. As long as they go to someone who can use them, I'm generally fine with not getting stuff or lagging behind others. I do have to admit though I didn't realize bards could use shields too. I think I'll need to go through my spells and see what requires somatic components, see how a heavy shield will compare to a light one if I wanna start using one.

When I first started throwing the numbers up there, I did it as Saves x/x/x. But then someone PM'd me and asked which were which. I've always considered F/R/W pretty standard in that order, so I didn't think anything of it. I switched it to F/R/W x/x/x pretty much immediately afterwards. No one's questioned it since. Honestly I probably do it since that's how my mind works whenever I talk about saves with my friends over tabletop. I can see how it could become confusing at times though. I am of course now completely self-conscious of it and will change it, hehe.

For me it's always been a matter of circumstance.

Suppose the adventure has you scaling a 1000' cliff (with a few landings). Sure, at some point someone could roll a 1 and fall, but if they take the time to make some base preparations and a take 10 will make it I'm fine with it. Now at 700' when that Wyvern decides to attack you, heck ya checks are coming out.
